Review 1：Excellent place to stay, we arrived to find that our booking had been upgraded, very friendly staff, facilities were great, loved the bath products. Housekeeping do a wonderful job as place was spotless.

Review 5：Clean & comfortable as always. New owners seem to be settling in well. The gift bag of chocolates on arrival was a nice touch - it being Christmas Day. Location is close enough to the central town to be convenient but far enough away to avoid the noise. We have stayed at this motel for the last 4 years on Christmas/ Boxing Day and the greeting is always genuine & friendly.

Review 12：Unexpectedly great - lots of thoughtful extras, from the little collection of goodies, selection of teas etc - it felt like all our needs had been anticipated. We had a spa bath and wee porch out the back. Management were friendly and helpful. We ended up being sorry we were only there for one night - will definitely be back next time we are up that way.

Review 51：This is a lovely small hotel (motel) in a delightful town. Wanganui wasgoing to be "just a stopover" but it has a beautiful mainstreet, lots of good shopping and some excellent restaurants. On anextensive tour of nz, this was the "hidden jewel" that no onein nz ever mentioned. The proprietor was fantastic, the room perfect andbringing breakfast to your door, cooked to order in the morning, at avery reasonable price (by nz standards) -- another nice surprise. Highlyrecommended.
