Review 6：The location it's nice and quiet. Only 5 minutes away from Praia de Benagil and right in between Lagos and Albufeira. The hotel is very comfortable, awesome swimming pool, great breakfast buffet and also the restaurant and pool bar offer good food for the right amount of money.

Review 19：The place is lovely, with a lot of garden, silent, isolated from the crowd. Rooms big enough For four (could be bigger though). Good and varied good, swimming pool middle sized but could have more room around.

Review 20：A shame some outside areas were subject to sewer odours. The pictures are a little bit deceiving when it comes to the pool size, it does look bigger than it actually is. Self catering equipment could be better: there is no point having a full set of pans of all dimensions if you only have the tiniest of colanders... And having an oven is nice but it would be even better with a mitt to minimise the risk of burns!

Review 21：A lot of green space away from the pool makes for a quiet and relaxing experience. Wonderful breakfast, the staff are attentive to keep everything filled throughout the time period. Much appreciated. A lot of space in the 2-bedroom villa we had. Definitely recommended.

Review 34：My first time in Portugal for 10 days with my husband & 3 children. The service was excellent & the staff were very friendly. From the moment we arrived the service was first class. We had a two bedroom villa & it was excellent, very clean & towels were changed daily. We were also given pool towels daily. The breakfast is excellent & the evening buffet was also excellent. I would like to mention that the reception staff Andre & pedro were very helpful & have excellent English. They were always on hand if you needed anything. I would love to return next year & would recommend this hotel to my family & friends.

Review 38：The quality of the evening buffet was a little disappointing. The restaurant staff were very attentive, a little over attentive, our plates and glasses were removed before we had finished on a number of occasions. We would return but only book bed and breakfast on this basis.

Review 53：The villa was clean, spacious and well appointed. Had three (!) bathrooms as well as a immaculate kitchen and a washing machine. We stayed for 5 days and wish we could have stayed longer. We would definitely consider coming back here for a longer stay in the Algarve. The shuttle to the beach and to the town was a wonderful extra bonus which allowed us to keep the car parked and not try to navigate the town on our own. Hotel staff was superb, spoke excellent English and went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay.

Review 96：The location is quite remote and although the hotel offers free shuttle buses to Carverio, the last shuttle departs at 5:30 meaning you have to get a taxi up and down to Carverio for dinner. Taxi is 10 euro. The service was a little slow for lunch however the staff are friendly.

I had a car to go around but there is a free shuttle bus to the nearest beach (appx 3km). The taxi to the nearest town is around 10€. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice (including full English), the pool was nice and staff was super nice!

We were travelling with our two small children ages 4 and 6. It's very hard to find a hotel complex which offers quality and spacious accommodation for families but also has a range of facilities for both young and old!. The Val Del Rae is simply perfect. We will return and are happy to recommend this area and resort with great enthusiasm!.

Review 109：I don't have much, if I could change one thing...it would be the fitness room. Excellent weights, but the cardio machines weren't exceptional like the rest of the hotel.

Review 110：Everything ... from the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us professionally and overwhelmingly friendly. We stayed in a villa and it was incredibly clean and they thought of all you needed, from slippers, robes, extra pillows and sheets. The property was amazingly breathtaking. Poolside you were served with afternoon iced tea, a really nice treat. Can't say enough good things about the facility. Amazing. Just wish we could have stayed longer. P.S. Food was also exceptional.

Review 111：It is not in carvoeiro, you can use a hotel shuttle but to be independend it is necessary to take a taxi (each tour 8€), best combination is to book the hotel and a car.
