Review 1：Advertised as having air conditioning - but it didn't only a ceiling fan. Very hot. Sliding door to go outside too heavy to move. Carpet very stained. I have never seen such a stained carpet. Facilities are very dated. Sky TV did not work.

Review 2：Facilities were clean and staff were excellent. Swimming pool and spa pool were excellent. Really nice being able to sit and watch kids in the pool from the comfort of the chairs provided.

Review 3：The customer service was sub par. The lack of receipts and documents made it seem a bit shady. The advertisement said 24hour room service but after 10pm only fried food which was overpriced and limited it to 2 items. The menu itself was nothing special as was the restaurant menu. Overall the stay was overpriced and the fact that our toilet broke and air conditioning not cooling only heating was really unenjoyable. The cleaners knocking on the door at 8am was quite rude and didn't show respect to guests.

Review 5：No internet free in room. Since our stay, we have had free, fast, in room internet in all other hotel stays with 500mb per day. Please don't be cheap with internet so important for travelers.

Review 7：Check in was a complete disaster - we booked a family room for 2 adults + 2 children. First room they gave us had 1 double and 1 single, second room they gave us had 1 double and 1 single, third bedroom they gave us had 1 double and 1 single, and yay FOURTH time lucky - 1 double and 2 singles. No apology, barely a smile. Incompetent! Not a great start to our stay.

Review 8：Quick to respond to requests for more towels and help with the TV. Great location, good facilties. Check out Eat Street by the Lakefront for dinner - so much choice!

Review 12：No one at check in desk on arrival Room not very clean Advised reception on day one a light was not working in bathroom two days later still no light replaced. Safe didn't work took all day to resolve issue. Jimmy Cook's restaurant was pretty average Locks on ranch slider/windows were damaged and could have been forced open from outside, dirt in ranch slider was a natural home for the ants which were busy making their way along the frame work and into carpet.

Review 14：We needed to wait a long time (and make multiple requests for service at the bar), rooms were very dated (felt like we were taken back in time to the 90s), showers had very low water pressure. Huge tour groups from China were noisy and annoying. The $22 breakfast was the worst though - powdered eggs, no fresh coffee and just a bunch of bread and soggy bacon & sausages? Ridiculous.

Shower was pretty useless. Breakfast was aimed at Asian tourists and was not hood value for money for us

Review 24：There was maintenance work in the entrance when we arrived and I noticed that the furnishings were out of date and well worn. The receptionist was pleasant. The lift had broken down so we had to use the stairs. The room was clean but the voile curtains didn't cover the full width of the window so we had to have the curtains half closed. The shower rose only worked on the large holes as the second option sprayed outwards wetting the walls and the floor. The locks on the door were very old. They were double round handle with push button centres. These are not good for security so I had to keep my valuables with me. We didn't try the food so I can't comment.

Review 30：I'm afraid the asian community gather at reception. I was checking out and 2 or 3 times they pushed past to get to the receptionist who was doing her best to attend to me. Downright rude they were.

Review 31：Cockroach on sheets, night staff Qiao suggested kill the cockroach for us and we sleep in that same room, bad attitude, poor customer service, reluctant to switch rooms for us (this was past 12am ). He then kept saying there were no available rooms for us to transfer to. We were eventually transferred to (after about 10 minutes of us standing there) a superior room from our double and his attitude was like he thought we should feel grateful with a pricier room. We preferred the double room beds and the smell of the superior room was damp and musty. Lack of manager was also an issue as 1. The issue could have been resolved quickly and effortlessly at the first instance and 2. We weren't happy paying 109 and being treated poorly and not having a good night's sleep. Manager wasn't available even in the morning when we checked out to discuss the issue. We had to leave a comment card, Teresa hasn't called back so not sure what's up there (09/11/15, room 260/232). Overall poor experience and would not recommend . We went to copthorne for its reputation but apparently there isn't a high standard of staff training, cleanliness and customer service.

I was directed to the sports bar instead.Bed config(1 queen and a single for 2 adults and 2 children) was unacceptable, my 9yr had to push 2 chairs together both nights, yes reception was informed. Air conditioning didn't work all night, so hot.

Review 42：Heated outdoor pool and restaurant food options were fantastic. Amenities and cleaning services were very good. We were asked if anything required cleaning or replacing.

Review 43：The young asian boy running up and down the tiled floor outside the lounge for over an hour in load shooes and yelling. The stained table cloths at our breakfast event were noticed by everyone. Power point was old and we used our own.

Excellent food nicely presented. The buffet breakfast the next morning was equally as good with lots of choice.i would definitely stay here again.

When we checked in we found we had been "upgraded" to a room with airconditioning BUT instead of bed each for the children they had a sofa bed they had to share.One of a child is a restless sleeper and needs lots of sleep, the other gets by on much less sleep and is a fidget when awake. Not a situation conduicive to good sleep

Review 73：I booked two family rooms for two adults and two kids each. I got two standard rooms with two beds (1 queen and 1 single) on arrival. They didn't have any family rooms for us! Also the rooms are poor air conditioned - not enough during summer time. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Review 74：Room only had a ceiling fan and was very hot . Resturant meal was ok but had no childrens meals so had to pay for an adult meal and waste half of it. Manitainance and attention to detail and standards of cleanliness did not appear beyong hotel reception. Windows on building round the pool area were filty and there was huge hunks of moss growing up high. Painting of pool the scum on pool handrails wasnt plesent. Thick dust on air vents in bathroom was obvious as soon as you entered the bathroom. We would not stay here again.

Went to the room, wallpaper was hanging off the walls, the sitting room side was a bunch of old chairs, the bath had green mould all up one end. The carpet was dirty. We complained and got an immediate apology and was told that the hotel was very busy and they would send a cleaner up!! We said it wasn't a cleaner that was required but the room needed to be condemned. The staff were good and said they would get one of the other rooms cleaned and we could move. The second room was good, this review is based on the first room. The hotel should never have allowed anybody to stay in the room.

Review 79：Bedroom tired and clearly needing upgrade there had been a flood and the bottom of the door in bathroom it wad very water damaged. The shower was disappointing and the bath chipped in several places. Long walk from town Centre

Review 91：The heated pool - it would be great to have a colder pool for summer and the sauna was not in service. The housekeeping of the room was not done properly as we stayed 2 nights we didn't even have enough towels in the room for 4 of us and dirty cutlery still left in the room the next day.

Review 114：the noisy toilet cistern that kept me awake all night. the fact that I had requested a twin bed room, and on arrival at reception, the first receptionist was not confident to supply this...the second arranged the twin bed room,,,but we had to wait a fair time, and we arrived close to 3pm !

Review 118：They were so rude when we arrived there was no offer of help with our bags or to show us to our room. we were traveling with three children 11,5 and 1y. We requested a cot with our booking and I spoke to them two days be four we arrived to make Sure we would have a cot they said this would be ready when we arrived. We arrived and there was no cot I rang reception and again encountered rudeness and was told I sold have brought my own as they had none! So after a lengthy discussion they said they would get one for me and It would be in our room when we returned from dinner 3 hrs later we got back and still no cot by this point I was over it and tired I went to reception and asked Et again for the cot and was told it was coming I went back to the room to get kids ready for bed and at 8.30pm they arrived with a Porta cot but no bedding and said I'd have to put it up my self as they were short staffed that was fine but I then had to go and hunt down bedding for my daughter who was well past sleep. Finally we got to bed the heater in our room was broken so we had to sleep with the door to the hall open and one out to a Cort yard as well as a fan on to help everyone cool down. This was the worst nights sleep I've had since my kids were new borns. I complained in the morning and they moved us rooms and gave me a drink voucher (a little bit insulting ) the room was better but sill not great the are in desperate need of a good clean and up date we all woke with flea bites as well so maybe a flea bomb wouldn't go a miss! This is by far the worst experience we have had and will never stay hear again the staff couldn't really care that people were unhappy

Review 120：On arrival the assistant confused our booking with someone with a name similar but not the same and started processing so when we checked the a terms and arrangements had to be changed. It did not upset us but may have done so for others.

Review 134：Behind the shiny front the paint was peeling and everything looked as though it could do with a spruce up. There was a major function on and unbelievably the participants had set up snall marques outside their rooms and eere partying there with loud music.
