Review 1：We stayed at The Quarter about 3 years ago and had a great experience staying there with our friends. So we were looking forward to returning. Unfortunately we were sorely disappointed. The service at check in and the overall condition of the hotel were deplorable. The check in staff acted disinterested, aircon was not working in the living room, bathroom soap dispensers were cheap plastic pump bottles that didn't work and the curtains were stained. The breakfast selection is very limited too. There are many other hotels that would give much better value. We're certainly not returning.

Review 2：The location, size of the room and the pool.

Review 3：The property is run down, the day we checked in it had a COURTS ORDER at the doors. Both hot & cold water pressure not consistent. The whole place is not cleaned well, house keepers only wiped around what they see, grotty behind curtains and basins. Breakfast provided not great, limited selections. Staff in general are courteous and polite. Definitely not value for money.

Review 5：We were on the 4/F so the shower water pressure was not strong at times and difficult to control the amount of hot water. in some cases no hot water. They tried to fix it but to no avail. Also some of the furniture needs replacement. i.e. Main white sofa was busting at the seems you can see the foam. Very cheap in thailand to buy a sofa.

Review 6：The layout of the 3 bedroom villa with pool was great. Spacious, 4 bathrooms, view and simple. Staff was great. You cant fault them for trying thier best.

Review 8：The staff were brilliant and very helpful. The breakfast selection and options were generous. Communication in English was also easy.

Review 11：Old, lack of maintenance. Overnight power failure without staff assistance, no emergency lighting, no tap water, no torch and we have to use phone for lighting.

Review 13：If you don't shut you doors, which is super difficult to do, you will have all types of bugs in your room all the time..... But it's not really that unbearable..... Given the insanely high taxi fee there, not really a good choice if you want to go shopping or night market in patong and Phuket everyday, but if you book trip and diving from diving clubs or travel agencies, they will provide free pick-up which makes it a perfect place to stay during your trips. Public swimming pool and private swimming pools (in 6 people room only)are really good with beautiful eyesight and sunshine. If you want to cook yourself their, prepare your own cooking oil as they provide everything except oils or you can borrow it from kitchen but I never tried it.

Review 14：The place was run down and dirty. Obviously not well cleaned with dirty floors etc. AC:s didn't function properly and the sliding bathroom door was stuck when we arrived. The food served at breakfast was not fresh and very poor quality. It was kept out for long, warm food not on heating. Staff where giving inappropriate or no information and assisted the taxi drivers they would call in ripping guests off.

Review 16：Location, high on a mountain ! View is more spectacular on the pictures than reality ! Breakfast is one big disaster ! Whole finishing of the building is bad !

Review 24：Not presented with bill on check out also asked if I had anything from mini bar I said no then asked to wait while the bar was checked tantamount to being called a liar. Upon room inspection found window ledge filthy and dead insects also a thick layer of dirt on overhead fan...this was all cleaned after I raised the issue however was obviously not to standard to begin with. Breakfast adequate not many vegetarian options given. Staff generally friendly. Pool dirty and tiles missing. Tennis court in bad state of repair. Went to use gym couldn't as power off to all machines and smelt dank and was obviously not being used or cleaned. A place That looked promising on the web did however not live up to expectations and I would not stay again.

Review 39：We stayed in room 405 . The steps inside had old food spills on them . The spa did not work and was dirty . The floor boards on the porch were rotten and need replacing . The aircon was very very noisy . The fan knob fell off onto the floor when we were trying to turn the fan on . The sliding doors would not lock. The pool was green with slime and bird droppings . Breakfast was cold and the bread mouldy . Needs to have a more flexible hotel shuttle service . Potentially it is a beautiful resort . But requires some maintainence and general upkeep . The second tap in the bathroom was completely loose which meant it was difficult to use . For a 4 star place it lacked a lot of attention to detail .

Review 40：The spaciousness and layout of the unit . The food was nice in the evenings with the lady chef .

Review 41：- the location of hotel is very steep so it takes so much energy to walk, i would recommend to provide a tram service - the light along the way to the front is so hazy and no guidepost to tell where th front is, so when i got there at night i didnt know where to go - kitchen in room does not have microwave

Review 51：The food options were limited. Lots of steep slopes and bumps that are not car-friendly.

Review 53：The resort is up a very steep gradiant hill and we had to get a taxi back to the accommodation each time that cost us 100bht minimum as we could not climb the hill. Food and beverage staff was almost non existant and very slow when you did manage to find someone.

Review 55：we had some issues with water. One evening we came back after a wedding (so really in need of a shower) to find out that there is no water in our rooms. We were allowed to use another room for showering, but the water problems persisted until next afternoon, which was rather frustrating as no one really thought of just moving us to anotehr set of rooms, and instead we all had to go to another room for showers and toilet use. We did however got one night refunded back to us. One of the group also had some items disappear, it is hard to say what really happened, but just be always cautious and don't leave anything valuable around, put everything in the safe

Review 56：the suite was great, teh facilities were fantastic, the location was quite ok as well even if further form the beach but having our own pool really made upf or all the walks up hill. Staff were extremely friendly and some really helpful! we had an incident one night were one of our group left a camera case with phones inside a taxi we caught from Surin beach to get home. One of the staff (unfortunately i do not remember his name) was so extremely helpful in finding the taxi driver, taht by next morning 9am we had all our stuff back.

Review 59：Hot water in bathroom was not hot enough to take a bath. Temparture of hot water was changing while taking shower. Pool water colored green, quite strange color. Pile of dust was on bed head in a master bedroom.

Review 61：The hotel is on a massive hill, and a bit of a walk (in hot weather) to the beach. Surin is expensive compared to other areas of Thailand so I was glad our stay was relatively short.

Review 63：The rooms are very very very noisy. As all is open, you get the noise of the neighbors but also of the street, with 24h motorbikes and cars traffic. Dogs barking and chicken shouts waked us up every night. The staff is polite, but absolutely useless as first they do not understand english and there is almost no service.
