Review 1：Really lovely staff. Very nicely laid out little nick nack things everywhere through out the complex. Felt like it was a little tropical get away. Loved it.

Review 2：People outside the room were very loud beteween 10:00 pm and 12:00 am. Perhaps there could be a time restriction (after 10 not allow to be to loud for the consideration of other guests) as it is an awesome place and I'll definitely like to stay there again.

Review 6：The staff were very helpful and cheerful. The decore was unusual, but very attractive. The reunion dinner was very good and good value, as were breakfast and dinner served in my suite.

Review 7：My wife took the shower gel , shampoo supplies not realising they were not complimentry which caused them to call me wanting to charge $20 ea , I said I will post them back as one was virtually empty anyway . I don't know anyone who would pay $20 for a full one (265mls) let alone an empty one! You can have your empty container back thanks .

Review 10：Everything! Having not visited Wanganui before, the town itself was a treat to discover. The recently rennovated accomodation was like a home from home. The cool, dark bedrooms- great for a good night's sleep. A shame we were only planned for 1 night.

Review 11：The owners were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the cosiness of the lounge/dining area which was available for all to use. It was a 5 minute car driving into the centre of town.

Review 12：Made booking 10th Aug for stay night of 15th August. Only found out when signing in that restaraunt was closed that night for a private function which meant a trip back to town to get a meal.

Review 28：We arrived late in the evening after a long drive from Christchurch and from the moment we walked into the reception we felt great about our decision to stay here. We got a wonderful welcome from Dion and a couple of cold complimentary drinks to help us unwind. This was our fist time in Wanganui and because we were relocating here it was very important for us to stay somewhere comfortable and stress free and this is exactly what we got. We booked the pool side apartment for one week which was perfect. It was very clean and spacious, had all the facilities we needed and gave us a sense of privacy too. The whole lodge has a great feel to it, cosy lush and kind of tropical and in the evening time when we were sitting in the courtyard having a drink it felt a little like we were back travelling in Asia :) Ann and Dion (the owners) are friendly, helpful and fun but it's fair to say that all the staff we met were just the same, always smiling and chatty. We will without hesitation recommend Anndion Lodge to family and friends when they come to Wanganui. Thanks for a great stay and a perfect welcome to Wanganui, Brian & Katie.

Review 46：I liked the homeliness of the lodge. It was just like being in my own home amongst visitors. The location along the Whanganui river provided tranquility to this little hideaway. And thanks to Dion for taking the time in his busy schedule to stop and have chats with us.

Review 47：There was no sink in the room to do the dishes etc. even though there was cooking facilities. Most Unusual! Had to take our dishes to the main kitchen in a plastic bucket.. I think this should have been mentioned on the booking site .. Also room was very dark and cave like.

Review 54：Didn't realize we booked a room only with shared bathroom. Room small but OK shared facilities not a problem. Full kitchen two large sitting rooms with big screenTV, billiard table and computers. Wi Fi worked ! And free. Decor interesting and friendly.

Review 58：I have stayed there before and really enjoyed the room and location. Dion has been very pleasant each time we have visited. Both times the rooms have been very clean and presented well.

Review 59：being a little below ground and no big windows to look out of. We only looked into the garage. No sink, although microwave & plenty of cuttery and crockery. Having to walk from one bedroom, through another bedroom to get anywhere eg bathroom, kitchen.

Review 61：Heating in the unit was only just adequate.There was a single-glazed conservatory, only separated from the main room by heavy curtains. The exterior door was also the fire escape, but was locked for security. Not good if there was an emergency.

Review 65：Thin walls and doors, TV was not tuned in, bed was definitely not up to standard.I asked for a double bed but the bed was two singles pushed together. The springs were soft on the bed that I slept on and I ended up rolling into the 'middle' ( which was really the edge of my bed) continuously. Bit annoying.
