Review 1：Very basic room. Room could be better secured. Bathroom is very cramped and needs updating. Not worth $155 per night. Would rate as 3.5 star and $115 reasonable room rate.

Review 3：Torn curtain mould in the shower I had asked for gluten free breakfast, but was told it was not available, because it is too expensive, but could have fruit and juice. He eventually agreed that I could have scrambled eggs. He also reduced my bill to $120.

Review 6：The location, on the beach. The proprietors, friendly and efficient. We were upgraded from a park view to an ocean view without asking, simply because it was available. The beds and bedding were superbly comfortable - better than many other more expensive establishments.

Review 13：The bathroom needs renovating, the location of the towel rack is very dangerous, my wife jammed her hand between the door and the rack. The windows need to be clean to take advantage of the sea view. Next doors shower woke us at 6am, it was extra loud.

Review 69：The motel is surrounded by the foreshore on one side and gardens on the other giving a feeling of privacy while still having amenities nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The restaurant has a comprehensive menu and the quality of the food was very good

Review 70：just a sign on the door saying that they were closed for Australia day, just ring a number if needed! We rang Ben and he advised they were shut, he was out at the shack, and they had not seen my internet booking!!! He would call back- which he did 1/2 hour later- we were sitting in the car in 39 degree heat! thnak god for air condiitioning. Two girls arrived and they were intimidating , asking who had we booked with, they had not seen it, etc and they wanted all details again, no probs with that . We had spoilt their Australia day festivities !

Review 71：Ben reduced our tariff from $170 per night to $110.00 for the inconvenience. Beautiful position but the motel needs to be knocked down or completely refurbished.

Review 72：Bathroom was dated, in need of remake. No provision of shampoo, conditioner, shower cap or sanitary bag which is usual in motels. One flannel for 2 people - basic provisions that need attention.

Review 84：The room was very tired with decor straight out of the 1970'S. thebathroom is very ordinary, although water pressure very good. A\cinefficient and extremely noisy. If this hotel is compared to similarrated hotels in Australia and overses it fails dismally. The room ratealone at $145 per night is not good value, but the real shocker is thecost of the restaurant. The meals are ambitious but don't live up todescription or quality. They are totally overpriced, I can't for thelife of me understand how food can far exceed capital city whilst beingso poor. To cap it off, the service was terrible and very, very slow.Perhaps training your waiting staff would be a good start. I wasn'ttoo impressed when the waitress told me I couldn't order an entrefor my very hungry four year old daughter out of order because she had asystem to ensure she got it right? The garlic bread and dips did arrivequite quickly once the waitress got her system going.
