Reviews for Area D Hostel
Review 1:Area D Hostel is very well run. The friendly staff are always on hand to provide information about Ramallah and the West Bank in general. The beds are clean and comfortable. Shower facilities are good. There is a large communal area to meet fellow travellers. You will meet some very interesting people here. If you wish to visit the Occupied Territories then this is the place to stay.
Review 2:Great view over Ramallah, nearby the bus station. the staff is friendly and made time to talk to us. We learned a lot about Palestine and the people. Nice public areas to eat or just have a cup of tea and/or a conversation. The public areas are decorated very tastefully. We will go back and stay at Area-d for sure!
Review 3:Probably the best hostel you can find in Ramallah. Very clean and cozy. Feels like you've arrived home. You can make your own pomegranate juice for a low price!

Review 6:No breakfast at all. It's just a bit weird getting in/out at night from the parking area which is a bit dark.
Review 7:Great hostel in the very heart of Ramallah, it has everything a good hostel should have: many and clean bathrooms, large rooms with individual facilities, lockers, many nice and large common areas, a big kitchen, and a friendly and helpful staff available 24/7. Ideal for solo travellers, excellent meeting point with many other interesting people. Higly recommended, I will come back!
Review 8:Nice, clean and quiet with excellent common space for chats with staff members and other travelers. It's been a while since I last stayed in a hostel and Area D left a very positive impression. Happy to return in the future.

Review 10:Meeting different international around the world. Hearing locals who volunteer sharing their experiences in Palestine. Great Ramadan dinner as well. Highly Recommended!!!
Review 11:The hostel was clean, quiet, had friendly staff, a beautiful view, and well-furnished common spaces for lounging, cooking, and eating. Though I only stayed for one night, the stay was spectacular.
Review 12:No breakfast and as I stayed one night only I at the end never met anybody to give me infos (not that I needed anything though)
Review 13:I loved the view, the room were nice too and most of all nice place to meet travelers and locals.
Review 14:- confusing indications on how to get there (we were not given the code downstairs and the main entrance was closed) - there's no heating/AC and it was very cold though they gave us extra blankets - the room was dusty - no breakfast - all in all, we thought it was too expensive for a hostel in Ramallah with such basis services
Review 15:The hostel atmosphere, the nice cleaning lady, the cheap coffee, the central location, the cleanliness of the bathroom and shower even though they were shared, the free wifi
Review 16:Nothing really. I'd consider coming back.
Review 17:The hostel is located in a very central location in Ramallah, right near the bus station. The central mosque is also across the street. This makes it very convenient to go to places around town and outside. The owner and staff of the hostel are very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. There are plenty of political issues that this hostel is embracing, and my stay was a very interesting learning experience.
Review 18:I was a little daunted when I found out that after 7pm you have to enter and exit from the parking garage, but it was actually completely fine and felt quite secure, with a passcode and everything.
Review 19:Location was great, the facilities were great, and the view of Ramallah was wonderful. They even had a hot water bottle on my bedside table to use to warm the bed.
Review 20:I'm sorry i couldn't stay longer
Review 21:Everything is excellent here: the staff, the rooms, the service, the view, the wifi......... A PLACE TO STAY !
Review 22:Staff is young, helpful, kind and enjoyable. The hostel is very clean and comfortable. When you arrive, you feel at home and you never want to leave. Qualiy time with other travelers and staff, good internet connection, sharing food and tea, hot water and good music. The position is perfect: in the bottom of the building you can find a market with all you need. In front you have a big mosque and the bus station. And of course, is very cheap! Best hostel i ever found! See you soon my friends! :) Alex/Gianluca
