Reviews for Capital Suites
Review 1:Our room was tucked into a corner with no real outside lighting, so it was a dark hole. Plus the Wifi didn't work in our room.
Review 2:It is a nice large room.
Review 3:It wasn't very clean. While the bed looked alright, the bathroom facilities were not up to par. Very few cars in the parking lot made the hotel feel unsafe.
Review 4:The sheets were so nasty we ended up sleeping on top of the comforter. Maybe they had been laundered recently, but if so they were covered with stains. Ditto the towels. Not exactly comfortable or welcoming.
Review 5:The bathroom stank but looked clean. The free wi fi did not work. The waffle iron for making own breakfast was dirty and not usable. Could not believe aaa gave 3 stars !
Review 6:Front desk clerk debited my card for the wrong amount, then tried to correct it so many times, was unable to use my debit card and had to use my credit card.
Review 7:The room was dingy as if it had been a smoking room previously. The sheets were stained as well as the pillows and towels. The only reason we didn't check out was because we had already unloaded everything and the kids had stuff everywhere.
Review 8:It was close to where we wanted to go.
Review 9:Very old and dated rooms. Shower didn't work. Sink in bathroom was cracked. Layers of stains in toilet and shower head. Linens were sub par.
Review 10:Location. Easy on and off I 10
Review 11:The coffee for breakfast is watered down and lukewarm. It must be strong and hot. I would suggest they purchase the KEURIG individual coffee maker. I plan to go back but if the coffee is not improved, I will go elsewhere. I am scheduled to work in Blythe every Friday through Sunday for the next six months.
Review 12:The location, the facilities, the cleanliness and the comfort of the room.
Review 13:Overall, the stay was quite good. I stayed there waiting for the moving van to deliver our household goods to our new house in Sun City, AZ. I would stay here again if I needed to stay in this are.
Review 14:I thought it was a great hotel. The staff was really friendly and they let me check in a whopping 4 hours early. The Jacuzzi and the pool were superclean. The hotel was pretty empty the night I was there so it was nice to have some peace and quiet. They even had an area where you could bbq and there was a smart and final right across the street where you could grab drinks and groceries. I'll be back for sure.
Review 15:Place needs serious repairs around pool area and jacuzzi, found a plastic knife in between sheet and mattress pad, under dressers trash and debris, the waffle maker in breakfast area was completely caked with black char, food looked inedible, TVs are old tube type and picture not great, door had a huge gap, and we didn't feel safe here at all
Review 16:WiFi worked great
Review 17:We found live and dead bed bugs on our bed. Then they moved us to another room and there was a roach dead in the middle of bathroom. We got our refund immediately and left.
Review 18:I would log onto the internet, get it for a few minutes, then lose it. Most of the times I tried to log on, I couldn't. I evidentially gave up. Even on my phone, I couldn't log on until I woke up in the morning.
Review 19:Location.
Review 20:This hotel was definitely a budget!! It was old but clean. There was a miny fridge and microwave in the room. Staff was very friendly. The rooms were very spacious. It was close to the freeway and grocery store.
Review 21:Two things needed fixing (in room 212): both fluorescent rings in the wall lamp between beds were drooping and wouldn't light; also, the wall outlet by the desk was so worn and loose that our charger plugs fell out of it.
Review 22:Extremely cordial front-desk staff, good value for money, adequate for a stop on the way to Phoenix.
Review 23:The beds were 30 year old spring beds and you could feel every one. The microwave and TV in the room looked like they picked them from an old yard sale. The carpet was old and worn. The bathroom had repairs to the walls that were never completed. The water temptress fluxuated from freezing cold to scalding hot every other minute.
Review 24:This was the only 3 star hotel listed on booking.Com for Blythe, CA. When we say the price we very very happy. That was until we got there. This place was a not at all what we expected. It looked like we fell back in time about 30+ years. The only reason we didn't believe this to be true was there was 30+ years of dust and cobwebs there. I would never stay there again.
Review 25:The pipes are old and made terrible sounds when flushing toilet or using sink. The tub area need refurbishing. Old microwave and television but they function fine.
Review 26:The pool and outdoor area was old but very clean. Except the toilet/shower room, it was nicely remodeled. The breakfast was good.
Review 27:We were camping and passing through Blythe for the night and decided to rent a room to rest up. Soft towels, free breakfast, microwave, fridge, good beds. Nothing extravagant, but did the job for us and we were happy for the price.
Review 28:Both the night shift and morning shift clerks were extremely helpful and professional. One helped us with our AAA discount and parking our UHaul, the other stopped what she was doing to clean out the unsuable waffle maker in the morning. The room was obviously very clean, freshly vacuumed, crisp, soft sheets, and modern remake of counters and plenty of room. We got a great deal on this night, and I'm glad we didn't go w the other 2 star hotels in Blythe.
Review 29:wifi spotty (but could have been my phone). facecloths not replaced day 2 (suddenly didn't have any in room), bathtub plug didn't work due to corrosion. rubber stopper given as workaround, didn't fit, finally got one that fit. staff very attentive in trying to fix problem but speaks to age and condition of hotel. still good for the $.
Review 30:clean, attentive staff
Review 31:The tile in the bathroom was dirty
Review 32:We needed a place to lay our head for a few hours. I was so surprised how nice it was for the price I would stay again
Review 33:Bathroom wasn't very cleans; and breakfast was quite minimal.
Review 34:Hot tub was a nice surprise. Front desk was very helpful and switched us to a ground floor unit.
Review 35:The room smell like cigarette smoke, refrigerator did not work, the front desk lady gave us wrong direction to room. The first night was not so good, but they did moved us to a cleaner room for the rest of our stay
Review 36:Breakfast was good. Pool and gym was nice.
Review 37:Our TV remote was not working but we didn't call the office to report it. Told them in the AM while checking out.
Review 38:Quiet and off the highway. The continental breakfast was good.
Review 39:Several things need to be addressed for room #203. !. No coffee pot in the room 2. The outlet in the Bathroom did not work 3. The outlet at the desk did not work 4. The shower head needs to be replaced - water only dribbled
Review 40:This is a "motor court" style property, with doors to the rooms opening to the outdoors and the parking areas, so you tend to hear the comings and goings of the other guests. But this was not a significant issue that negatively impacted our stay.
Review 41:This property is dated, but overall a great value. Check-in took about 30 seconds. Staff is excellent, very helpful and friendly. They responded immediately to our requests. The facility and grounds are well kept. The free breakfast is the typical waffle maker and sausages for a hot meal, as well as cereal, bagels, yogurt, coffee and juice. All in all we had a very pleasant stay.
Review 42:Really what was there not to like? Great value
Review 43:The bed was huge and in wonderful shape, the room was clean and offered microwave, Wifi and free HBO and others, it was close to simple dinning and the staff were pleasant and available.
Review 44:Room had a bad odor, carpet was filthy, didn't want my family to walk on the carpet without shoes on. Bugs in the bathroom, and shower. According to your website, we got the impression this was a nice hotel. It turned out to be an awful experience for us. We won't be staying here again.
