Outlook Hill Vineyard Cottages & Suites sells fast on our site. Set on a 60-acre vineyard, the Outlook Hill Cottages & Suites offer heated accommodation with panoramic views of the beautiful Yarra Valley. Some accommodation offers a spa bath, fireplace or flat-screen TV.
Outlook Hill Vineyard Cottages & Suites are located 4 minutes’ drive from the Tarrawarra Museum & Winery and 8 minutes’ drive from both Yarra Glen and Healesville’s town centre. Chandon Winery is a 15-minute drive away.

Review 1：Bathroom Out of Date, Cracked Tiles, No complementary toiletries. Mattress Very Firm. Microwave not working. No Fly Screens so unable to open windows without letting all insects in.

Review 3：Spa bath had not been cleaned, jets released dirt when on. The house needed a good dusting and removal of dead insects.

Review 9：The odd water pressure in the shower alternated between normal or no flow for no apparent reason.
Review 10：The peaceful rural setting with panoramic views - yet it is within easy reach of all major attractions on the Yarra Valley. The newly established gardens will only add to the appeal when they grow & mature.
Review 11：Toilet not clean. Kitchen utensils not clean. Canisters for tea, coffee had drips and marks on lids. Floor not mopped in places. Water in bath looked dirty.
Review 12：The view was spectacular. Furnishings very comfortable. Excellent retreat for peaceful getaway.
Review 13：Difficulty getting in contact with anyone to be able to check in. There is no sign of any person being available, and no signage to indicate what is required to be done. So we rang and there is no answering of the phone, with the only option available is to leave a 10 second text message which they never even bothered responding to after 3 calls. So after driving down the road and knocking on the house door, to which there was no response from the person inside we were finally waved down by somone on the fourth trip around.

Review 15：There was no reception so we couldn't find anyone to help us when we arrived and all the cottages were taken, extremely poor customer service and communication, they lost our booking and early check in confirmation, we nearly missed our winery tour which was the whole purpose of the trip. Nobody could get in touch with the manager when we arrived as they "went out for breakfast"... They wouldn't allow us to put our food in the fridge from the car so we also had to throw out all of our dinner and we weren't compensated. There was no continential breakfast as stated. The spa bath had mould. The heater didn't work. Light globes were out. Spiders and cob webs in most of be corners.

Review 17：I didn't like the fact that you pay for continental breakfast but there was no bread or milk,so all the cereals and preservatives for toast etc was useless

Review 20：The cottage could've been perfect, View amazing, location great, privacy perfect, makes an excellent setting for a romantic getaway apart from a few drawbacks which could be easily addressed by management.
Review 21：We were offered a 'free upgrade' to a cottage with a balcony. The owner promised to send a cleaner before 6pm as it was still dirty from previous guests. They never arrived. Not even to refresh bed linen or towels. No owner on site & he was hard to contact by phone.

Review 25：Tao was a great host. I called an hour before arrival and he let me know of an available cottage that was an upgrade from the studio I had booked. He happily moved us there with no extra charge! Very happy with our stay. The perfect getaway at a tranquil spot.
Review 26：There was a glass in the carboard that had lipstick all over it as well as a dirty sponge in the sink upon arrival. When the old owners were in charge they had a nice bottle of wine complimentary upon arrival, with the new owners that is no longer on offer. It used to be a nice touch.

Review 28：The manager is very nice & very helpful. But is obviously very new at running the place. And the cottage it's self was no where near as clean as it should have been. Cottages themselves are starting to get a little run down, which is a shame.

Review 30：We returned to Outlook Hill Winery and Cottages for another stay last week and were very disappointed that we were not advised [when making booking] of landscape construction and works of new paths and gardens around the cottages To avoid noise , dust and intrusion in what is a normally a quiet, clean and secluded setting, we recommend anyone contemplating booking a cottage at Outlook Hill calls first to check on status of landscape works for weekday accommodation
Review 31：Was so amazing we didn't go out for dinner! Platters of food on the balcony with a sunset. Nothing was to much trouble for the owner, clean and matching the pictures. The review can't convey how happy we were with outlook hill!!
Review 32：No reception to check in, we had to call the owner. We wanted to leavesome food in the fridge, we were told we couldn't check in until 3pmso leave it at the door and he would put it in the fridge. We arrivedback at 4.30pm Absolutely filthy place, dead flowers in a vase, dustcovering the floors and furniture. Dirty, filthy bath with ring marksaround from the previous people. Mold all over the tiles. This place hadnot been cleaned in a very long time. Breakfast non-existent even tho itwas suppose to be included in the price! Nothing like the pictures asearth work are being carried out around all the properties. Owner wouldnot answer his phone the following day. Worst place we've stayed!Spend your money elsewhere!

Review 34：Taxi driver informed us new owners, seems the new owners do not live up to the previous reviews. No staff visible during the stay, no restaurant, no wine tasting, breakfast was packet oats or a loaf of supermarket bread, the chocolates were Milky Way bars no fresh local produce. The photos must have been taken when it first opened, and the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. I would never recommend this accomodation or stay there again.

Review 36：Although the cottages looked lovely, the studio was very poorly thought out. No door on the bathroom, a dirty old couch on wheels that slid across the tiled floor whenever you sat on it, a plastic bucket for washing dishes, very cold floor, cheap blinds and curtains that don't work well. It's a lovely place, but book a cottage for the extra few dollars and save yourself a less than perfect experience in a great location.

Review 38：The suite was freezing - even with the heater running at 25C for a full day the cold fully tiled floor sapped the warmth out of the room - don't forget to pack your slippers if you're staying in winter. The bathroom was interesting, to say the least - no door (just a wooden room divider) so if you want privacy you wont find it. The shower 'misted' water at a speed that made you feel like it would peel your skin off whist failing to get you wet enough for a decent clean. We tried to have coffee in the morning using the french press, only to discover it was beyond broken - this was replaced by the afternoon with an second equally broken press that also contained the remnants of the previous users coffee... The Manager seemed a little put-out about having to replace the item, but he wore great glasses so I guess he can be forgiven.
Review 39：Amazing Location and stunning view. Quick drive to wonderful wineries and some great food. Stayed in Suite 4 which had a cute open plan layout and decor. Despite being connected to Suite 5, it still felt private. I'm not sure what the cottages are like inside but if I was to stay here again, I'd opt for one of those over the Suite.
