Review 1：great location,lovely apartment,wonderful breakfast,they treated us like family,spoiled my daughter,and picked us up from trainstation,and dropped us back.

Review 2：There is very deep stairs so for those who has some problem with legs it is not good choice.

Review 3：Onassis is more like a home than a hotel so for those who likes small and comfortable hotels this is perfect choice. Owners were really nice and atmosphere is very warm. I had family room and it was really huge. Location is perfect.

Review 4：The selling point why choose this place was that they had a sauna. Unfortunately it was not on when we got there, and the owners did not want to start it just for us. Too bad. If you choose this place, make sure to let them know in time that you want to use the sauna.

Review 7：I really enjoyed my stay here! Comfortable accomodation. Hosts were friendly and helpful and gave me a ride to the train station with my bag when I was leaving. Plus a lot of recommendations. Bedroom is comfortable and big. Breakfast is great. Really close to the city centre of Alkmaar in a friendly district. Plus they have 2 amazing dogs!

Review 8：Fortunately we had a GPS as the one way system meant it was a rather round about way to get there. The rain bucketed down which is apparently quite normal so wet weather gear required as it is easier to walk from here to town than to drive.

Review 9：Very close to centre of town. Spacious apartment and friendly owners. Amazing breakfast! We were able to park right outside the house. Plenty of good restaurants within 10 minutes walk.

Review 11：The suite was great, although in our case unnecessary, as we were in Alkmaar for only one night. Location was just a 3 minute walk into the centre.

Review 13：Owners are absolutely fantastic!!! Friendly and accommodating, helpful and made us feel like part of the family. Gave us lots of advice on local gems and hidden treasures. And swimming pool is a great extra!

Review 15：The room is large with some decoration, but some areas like kitchen is a bit old style and not so equipped and clean. Toilet is large but shower area has no curtain or glasses to waterproof. Breakfast is quite large portion.

Review 16：It seems like they redid a regular house to be a wonderful bed and breakfast. It seems like every detail was well considered, and the entire place was just very comfortable and nice. I don't know how they could have done better.

Review 21：Peter and Tina were excellent hosts, very friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel at home. They bought in breakfast especially for my preferences and even gave me a lift to the station! Great location, easily within walking distance of the centre.

Review 22：Small criticism, but do like crispy bedding, heavier quilt and 2 nice pillows, feather preferred, but welcome and service outweighed, but would still love! Site needs to highlight need for cash payment, which was embarrassing when we needed reminding and sourcing.

Review 23：Coffee provided despite arriving too early arrival Genuine, wonderful, hard working hosts. Happily volunteered to take us to the station on 2 occasions, including our host, Peter being willing to forfeit his Sunday football!

Review 26：This was an excellent place, very close to the centre of Alkmaar with all the facilities you could ask for , including an indoor swimming pool and Sauna. Our hosts, Peter and Tiny were extremely helpful and spoke excellent English. The room was spacious, comfortable and beautifully furnished and the breakfasts were delightful. Peter gave us helpful information of places to go and visit and even loaned us bikes to explore the local area, including the beautiful old town of Alkmaar. We had a first class holiday.

Review 45：A big mansion with great decor, situated near a beautiful old windmill (museum). Lovely hosts with two dogs. I was backpacking on my own and the host kindly offered to drive me to the train station. My bf and I were supposed to come together but he had an emergency at work, yet he deeply regretted not coming to Alkmaar to see the dogs and cheese. :)

Review 54：We really liked the fact that the hotel had a lightweight buggy for a baby that could be borrowed for the day. The availability of the high chair for the baby was very useful. The temperature of the swimming pool was perfect for the baby and the offer of heating milk for the baby was useful if we had been feeding the baby formula instead of breastmilk. It was helpful that there was a kettle available to make hot drinks ourselves.We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights and both rooms were very comfortable. We appreciated the offer of being taken to the station by the hotel owner and picked up from there.

Review 58：Unlike other B&Bs I have stayed in, there is only one common sitting area outside your room and the owners spend a great deal of time there. This sometimes gives you the feeling you are infringing and is less condusive to just sittinig and relaxing. While non-smoking inside, the hosts smoke just outside the doors and it lingers in the common area and hallways.

Review 59：The location of this bed and breakfast was outstanding, a few steps away from the central city of Alkmaar. The owners, who live on-site, were very friendly and helpful. They provided advice when needed and were generous with their time. The breakfast was delicious.

It was quiet and calm, we could sleeppretty well, we did not even notice the other guests, although thetoilet and bathroom was shared in case of our room.
