Reviews for Ming Guesthouse
Review 1:Not really the best place if you want to hang out and socialize with other travelers. But the centre of Pai is just 5 min walk.
Review 2:Nice quiet location just outside town. Clean toilets / showers. Friendly owner. Dorms are really basic with 5 beds, all got private locker and mosquito net.
Review 3:Only a slight down point but shower was a bit hit and miss.
Review 4:Located about 5 mins walk up road from main st so is quiet area, comfortable beds and nice balcony to relax on.
Review 5:To basic place... room ok but toilet and showers outside very ruft. there is not a nice relaxing common area.. pai is a place to relax. For same price you find hostals in the nature with hamacas, nice gardens...
Review 6:Help from people from hostal to move to another hostal... they took me in motorbike for free !!
Review 7:no place for people with a light sleep the building for the dorm rooms is really basic and if someone is walking around (even if its in the other room) the wooden floor makes a loud sound and the walls shake if the doors are opened/closed. Construction works behind the building and because there are only wooden walls it got quite loud. No common area
Review 8:lovely hosts
Review 9:There's a gap between 2 dorm rooms in the upper part of the wall separating them so sometimes it was noisy. No lock on door to the room, door wouldn't close from inside, so needed to ram it with sth.
Review 10:Good beds in the dorm room with mosquito nets. Good value.
Review 11:The facilities are very basic, but you get what you pay for. The staff were lovely. I had food poisoning for two days and the main guy was so sweet and looked after me. He brought me water, kept checking on me and even went to 7 eleven for me.
Review 12:Has a lovely stay at Ming's. Dorms and bathroom is rather basic, but you've got everything you need as a backpacker. Location was at first a bit hard to find, but it's a perfect place to stay for having silent nights. Staff was really friendly and helpful. In my last night in Pai I got really sick, next day owner and his wife cared for me. Thanks for your help!
Review 13:It is just out of main area, but I rented a bike so it was only in 2-3 min distance. Not a deal breaker
Review 14:For the money you pay, it was super nice and comfortable. Recommended
Review 15:The matress is really hard and the walls dont go all the way up so you can hear everybody talk, but its outside the center so a quiet area. The dogs outside the hostel are a bit intimidating
