Review 1：there was another building in front of the deck that obstructed our view.... but really only from the deck. no big deal. the floor above us was unobstructed so that higher room would be perfect.
Review 2：lovely little spot overlooking the Mekong river. our room had three large windows with screens with a beautiful view across to Laos. food here was very good. very relaxed sitting and eating overlooking the river. very rustic, funky buildings amidst a lush jungle garden. great vibe!

Review 4：Great location with clean rooms overlooking the river. Excellent place to stay before crossing into Laos or getting the bus to Chiang Mia. The owner is really helpful and the breakfasts selections are extensive. One of the most 'value for money' places I have stayed.
Review 5：The staff didn't speak English even though it says they do. The room smelled when we first got there so we opened the windows and left for a few hours, when we got back it smelled better. But I think this room was overpriced. It is also cheaper to walk in and book, they charge an extra 50 baht for booking.com

Review 8：Baantammila is a real rustic looking place with a view straight onto the River Mekong. We only stayed for one night before crossing into Laos and this place was perfect for that. Places to eat just around the corner and the rooms were spacious with great views! 5 minute tut-tut ride from bus station. Great Wifi!
