Review 1：Exceptionally friendly staff who were amazing - wonderful evening meal, I have never eaten a better steak or had such a delicious combination of starters, homemade soup, main course and sweet for the money! Not to mention the local wine which perfectly complemented the meal. And in the morning there was equally very good breakfast with fruit juice, meats, cheeses and the most wonderful variety of light cakes and pastries - plus freshly ground coffee and tea. Thanks you so much Fatima and Antonio!
Review 2：Senhora Fatima and Senhor António are excellent hosts. Homemade food, beautiful location, lovely garden with vineyards and peaceful and relaxing atmosphere made our stay a memorable one. There's a swimming pool - great to have a swim in the rays of setting sun...

Review 4：Breakfast and evening meal were of excellent quality and served with care and pride by our host who was also the Chef. There is no menu as such, but guests are consulted beforehand, and Tremendous variety of food was served. Local wines were skilfully selected and served. Everything was exceptional value for money.
Review 5：I will start with Antonio who is a joy. He and his wife Fatima run this extraordinary rural hotel in a beautiful newly and fully restored stone winery. Rooms are lovely and all front rooms overlook a pretty stream and luscious vineyards. The dining area is the original grape-stomping area (there are photos on the wall from the 30s showing how it was done). There is even a good sized pool! Breakfasts are large with regional cured ham and an endless variety of pastries and breads with fruit. The dinner Antonio serves is beyond description. We actually had intended to stay one night but decided to stay two. Fortunately they had a vacancy. Antonio is also a lover of American music from the 50s through the 80s which he will sing with little prompting. Overall the most enjoyable hotel/B&B experience we have had in a long time. And inexpensive to boot.

Review 9：This Quinta is in an extremely beautiful setting on the River Homem and housed in a really interesting building surrounded by grape vines and orange groves. The owners, Antonio and Fatima, are wonderful hosts - nothing is left to chance and every detail is considered. The breakfasts are superb as are evening meals. We ate there 3 out of 4 evenings and were delighted by both the lovely food and the value for money. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and close to excellent walking country. Truly excellent in every respect!

Review 12：We had four wonderful days and nights here. There are fantastic walksnearby, with leaflets available outlining the routes, and we had warm,sunny days; good luck for this time of year. The home cooked food wasextremely tasty and exceptional value and served in a very attractivedining room (we ate breakfast and dinner there every day, despite havingcooking facilities in the apartment) and the wine was very good. Fatimaand Antonio are the most genuinely caring, hospitable hosts we haveknown and we very much enjoyed our conversations together, on a widerange of topics despite the language difficulties. We hope to be able toreturn and stay at Quinta De Pais again. Thank you.

Review 15：We have stayed once before and we really enjoy staying here. In our opinion Quinta de Pais is the most wonderful place for a relaxing couple of days. The owners are the most wonderful and welcoming people. They do absolutely everything to make sure we enjoy our stay. The rooms a very nicely decorated and has everything you need in order to relax and enjoy. This time they had finished building a infinity pool, which we enjoyed a lot in the warm afternoon. Everything is beautifully made and very clean. They serve the best breakfast we have ever been served - without a doubt. Freshly baked cakes, freshly cut fruit, bread, cheese, ham, homemade jams, juice, coffee, freshly made omelette - everything you can wish for. We had dinner both nights and it was superb. We had fish the first night and meat the second. Both nights we were served starters, soup, main and dessert and everything was absolutely perfect. Both meals were absolutely fabulous in taste and quality. We were also served really nice wines, which accompanied the food perfectly. We can't wait to come back to Quinta de Pais. To us it really feels like home.

Review 20：We had the most wonderful 4 days staying in an apartment at Quinta De Pais. We speak a very little Portuguese and some French, but managed to communicate with Fatima and Antonio who also speak a little English. We have stayed in northern Portugal on a number of occasions in the past few years and this ranks as one of our best ever stays. The apartment was spotlessly clean and decorated in a traditional Portuguese style. We sat on the balcony every evening, enjoying the views and the birdlife. We used the swimming pool on a couple of afternoons and the infinity pool with views of the valley was very relaxing. The welcome from Fatima and Antonio was second to none. They went out of their way to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. The food was outstanding and exceptional value. We also chose to have breakfast, which I would heartily recommend. The homemade produce at both breakfast and dinner were superb with everything freshly made. The quality and quantity of the food were outstanding. We intend to return to this lovely quinta to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery of northern Portugal and to meet up again with Fatima and Antonio.

Ourvery comfortable room had views over the vineyard and the valley.Arriving late in the afternoon we were offered dinner in the restaurantattached to the B&B. What an amazing meal, complimented withbeautiful local wines and Antonio and Fatima's hospitality. When wethought things couldn't get any better, the next morning we weretreated to an equally amazing breakfast! We would have loved to havestayed longer and would give them 11 out of 10 if we could!!

Review 27：- no seats outside BUT on the other side of the road is a nice cafe/terras with also great view and very friendly personnel. It's open the whole day till 2.00 am for drinks and snacks.

Review 30：We liked everything. We are very glad our first impression of Portugal was formed by this place and it's owners Antony and Fatima. The hotel in the former winery. Very comfortable and very clean room. Fabulous view. Hospitality is above of any assessment. Perfectly cooked meet and fish with personal service made our dinner unforgettable.

The hosts are charming. We wish we could have stayed longer. The only thing that could have made it more perfect would be a swimming pool, and they are building one.
