Review 2：we only stayed there for one night but i have to say that the hotel and the staff was very nice.you have to check out before 10am. but our flight was at 5pm so we asked if we could stay longer and the manager Richard let us stay free of charge as long as we needed to.the rooms are very clean with all the stuff that you need.also if you coming late and can't make it to the shop there's some bread,butter,coffee,jam...even marmite:)).thank you Richard for a very nice stay.best wishes from Tomas and Simona.
Review 3：I'm very appreciated the manager of this villas. He help me to rent a car although it is very difficult for Christmas Even. And help me to make an appointment for The Christoms Day! He is very hospitality and presnent us papayas and bananas. He also teaches me how to cook a fish as well as borrowed a pot to me .At last, my credit card was unavailable for his payment machine, So, he asked me to pay when I went back to China. The manager is very kind, hospitality person! That's a good hotel, I'm very appreciated his wonderful service! So, I'm waiting for your bank details. Happy New Year! Pls accept my best wishes to u! Review 5：Location is very convenient if you wish to see the island. We had an amazing view from the apartment! Richard is the most helpful person we have ever met on our trips. Helped us to rent the car, guided through the island and even present a Papaya from his garden... Was lovely. Place is very clean and filled up with all you need. Very spacious, family friendly. It's in 10 minutes drive from the most popular each of the island and the city centre of St. Louise.
Review 6：Highly recommended .Very spacious apartment.Richard was amazing assisted throughout our stay and gave us good recommendations on places and activities in Mahe an Praslin.The fridge was well stocked for us during both stays with breakfast items and snacks.Very well maintained ,very safe .Great location, the bus stop is right outside the Apartment building.Bus to city centre and Victoria market will take 5-8mins and Bus to Beau gallon and Bel Ombre on the opposite directions. Walk to the city by taking the shortcut is also possible.The Airport could be reached by car in 20mins with traffic. Richard also picked us up from the jetty on our return trip from La digue,He assisted us lot by contacting the airlines and ferry company for ticket arrangements.Bus to Takamaka starts from bus station t akes about 45mins on the way and could also get off Au cap an Anse Royale however during afternoon bus frequency is not the same on certain days.Bus fare is 5syr per one way regardless of the length of the journey .Definitely will stay again if I visit Mahe .

Took us to the beach Vallon as he had something to do there as well to the Airport the next day (could imagine that he cannot do this for every guest but only in case of some spare time). Bus station in front of the Appartment therefore very easy to go to Victoria resp. visit Mahé . Good internet connection.

Review 12：I loved the spaciousness of the apartment. The comfort and cleanliness were very good. The terrace was lovely in the afternoon and I enjoyed the view over the town. I would suggest a car if you were staying here, however there is a bus stop right outside. The apartment was very well equipped with everything that you could think of. But mostly we appreciated our host, Richard. Quiet, unassuming but very kind and courteous. Small touches like a stocked fridge, washing powder ect can be so welcome when you are travelling. Thank you Richard! Your kindness was a highlight of our stay.

Review 15：We have read some of the “complains” here about the apartments and we would like to clarify them: 1. Yes, the road next to the property can be a bit noisy in the morning. But Richard provided earplugs and, honestly, we only had a bit of trouble during the first morning. You get used to it very easily and we did not even need to use the earplugs. 2. As for the comment about bed bugs. In Seychelles there are sand flies in the beaches (you can see their bites in most of the tourists’ legs) and their bites appear a few hours after. This may lead you to think that there are bed bugs, when there are not. 3. There is a clothes line in a little room outside, in the balcony, together with a mop and a broom. 4. For those that said that it is hard to walk down to Victoria because there is no pavement: you need to walk on the pavement until you see a tram of stairs. Take them, they lead you to a car-free path that goes straight to the city centre. 5. Accommodation in Seychelles is pretty costly. The apartment offers what you pay for. It is not a luxury apartment, but a simple accommodation to visit Mahé. It has everything you need (shampoo and even laundry soap!) but it is not a 5 starts hotel and you should not expect it. Finally, if you need anything, just ask Richard. Like in the case of the guests that said that there was no clothes line: if they had just asked Richard about it, he would have been able to help. Owners deserve the right to fix things before getting a bad comment.
Review 16：We absolutely loved our stay at Morel's! The apartment is big, clean and conformable and it is right next to a bus stop that goes everywhere. The highlight of our trip was getting to know Richard. Everything everybody has said about him is right: he is wonderful and goes beyond his way to make your stay as pleasant as possible! We have travelled a lot in our lives and we have never encountered a most wonderful host. There are so many things he did for us! He drove us to the port and to Beau Vallon, he went to buy us some water in a faraway supermarket one day that there was a big power cut in Victoria, etc. He is genuinely caring; a true gentleman! On another note, my wife is terrified of cockroaches (we life in the tropics as well and we understand that it is an animal that may dwell in Seychelles too) and we wrote to Richard before we arrived to tell him of her phobia. He said that he had never seen one in the vicinity, but still he made everything possible to keep them at bay (and make my wife feel at ease). We are so very grateful that he was so understanding about this (they have not been so in even 5 starts hotels!) and she had the best time :D. We did not see a single one in the property in the 5 nights in total we stayed there (and she looks for them everywhere :D).
Review 17：We stayed at Richard‘s apartments only for one night. Richard was very kind and easygoing, he arranged the transportation from the airport, kindly answered all our questions about Seychelles giving us some valuable tips. The apartment is spacious and clean with the beautiful view to the mountains and sea. Nearby is quit noisy street but when the windows are closed you can sleep in silent. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

Review 25：Great location. Bus stops very close by for transport to Victoria or Beau Vallon. Richard was a great host and even supplied us with some food! Washing machine was a blessing in the hot Seychelles. Great view from our balcony.
Review 26：Beware of traffic (weekday mornings and evenings). This is part of Victoria, but the apartments are on a busy road. Wifi in some of the apartments is quite a challenge. Even when we did get it to work, it was quite slow. We were able to find faster wifi elsewhere on the island.
Review 27：Affordable option. You get so much space for your money. Free parking. Security was well maintained. Richard, the owner, is wonderful: a great person and a great host. He attended to all of our needs happily. The location is a plus in the sense that it is central. You can be off in any direction (Pier, Beau Vallon, North, South) as easily as the next. Yes, it is not on the beach, but that would come with a much higher price tag if so, and you still get great views from the hilltop. Kitchen is equipped with all needs if you wish to cook. Wash machine is a nice touch too for long stays.

He arranged for a taxi to pick us up and drop us at the airport, told us about the best beaches, the best food joints, even the best place to go souvenir shopping and also hooked us up with a guide for some good ol' hiking. An absolute gent! (Richard, if you are reading this, you're welcome to visit us in PK should you ever get the chance :) ) Morel's itself is pretty cool! We loved that we could do laundry at the apartment, and it was only a 7-10 min walk from Victoria and the bus stop is literally right in front of the property.

Review 31：Even though we were on holiday, we still needed to "check in" occasionally with the real world. The Internet was excrutiatingly slow. I don't think there was anything Richard could have done about it, though.
Review 32：The rooms were a very good size, and quite clean, with a view of the sunrise over the ocean. Richard very thoughtfully had put breakfast fixings in the fridge for us, so we did not need to go out in search of a breakfast place. The bus stopped right outside the building, but it is also within a 15 minute walk to the city centre. Richard, the owner/manager was extremely friendly and accommodating.

Review 34：Richard, the manager, really is as welcoming and helpful as everyone says he is. One of a kind. The apartment is nice and big with views over Victoria and the harbour. The closest bus stop is two metres from the main gate and there are several small shops and a couple of restaurants nearby.

This is a great location if you like nightlife, urban setting or need to catch the ferry to the other islands. It is set very close to town and you have a lovely view of the capital. The rooms are very comfortable and the fridge is thoughtfully stocked with juice and milk etc. If you are after a tranquil setting with beach etc, this is not for you. If you value convenience, value for money and being close to amenities, then this is the place. Free parking and wifi.

Review 41：Our short stay was absolutely faultless. The location is perfect - an easy 10-15 minutes downhill walk into Victoria (and a short bus or taxi ride back up) and a little over 5 minutes on the bus to Beau Vallon beach. Richard, the host, was an absolute gentleman. A real pleasure to meet. He picked us up at the port after we arrived on the ferry from Praslin, arranged our taxi ride to the airport and allowed us to stay in the apartment until we departed in the evening. He also stocked the fridge with much-needed cold drinks and breakfast items. The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean, well-furnished and had a very effective aircon system. Free wi-fi is provided and the connection speed was ok by Seychelles standards. The lounge area (with comfy sofas and a flat screen TV) opens out onto a large balcony with breathtaking views over Victoria. We really enjoyed our stay here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.
Review 42：Wifi signal wasn't the best, but that is not specific to this location, it is a struggle pretty much everywhere on the island. Definitely should not be a deterrent to staying here, I mention it only to highlight that you shouldn't rely on FaceTime, ect if visiting. But overall fantastic experience!

Bus stop at property gate. and Victoria market was short walk down the Hill. Yes, the Hill on the way back did get the heart rate going. Nice to have apartment amenities versus a hotel room. The personnel is very kind and arrange me the transport to the airport as well as a nice conversation meanwhile waiting the time to leave. They offer me to let everithing into the appartment until leave in the afternoon. Everything in the appartment was new and includes everithing for the breakfast in the fridge.

Review 55：The apartment is nice, big and clean. You have all that you may need for your stay in Mahe. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook if you feel so. The washing machine helps get rid of the sand that you are going to collect for sure in the incredible beaches. There is free parking inside gated area. But... Richard tops it all! Review 57：Richard is on of the nicest people We've met. He was super nice, gave us recommendations and even gave us a ride to the ferry in the morning. The price was very cheap but the place still looked great and was very equiped, even the fridge was full with joice, bread, bottled water, fruit and othere types of goods. The perfect place if you want to see Victoria. There is a bus right at the gate that goes to central Victoria every 15 minutes and takes only 5 minuts to get there.

It would be quite a walk into Victoria's downtown, but the bus service is very easy and frequent. Great place to stay.
