Review 1：A faulty lock on the rear sliding door was a bit of a hassle, but no big deal.

Review 2：Central spot for recovering after a day of hiking in the National Park. Convenient laundry facilities. Helpful tips on where to eat from owner at check-in were much appreciated.

Review 3：Very good motel in a great location for summer walking in the mountains and forests. Good facilities especially the full oven and hob, which is so useful when on a long holiday and saves eating out all the time.

Review 4：My daughter and I stayed here one night , before we went on the Kaimanawa range trip(wesome).Arrived in the afternoon, easy to find, friendly welcome by James. The room was clean and comfortable, with a spa bath, which my 10 year old daughter tried said was great. Thanks for a great nights sleep

Even though we arrived late they were still most helpful and wanted us to get the most of the next day by telling us some of the things we needed to know so we could start our day off on the best foot. It was also quiet and relaxing. The view of the mountain was fabulous.

Review 14：The person on the front desk was rude and was upset we had accepted an upgrade via Booking.com. There was no real upgrade so for the extra $40 we really didn't receive anything extra. We were travelling with my Grandson and we were very upset at the dialogue with the receptionist.

Review 16：The apartment was terribly cold (winter time) and the heat machines was not enough to provide a confortable stay. The person at the desk was not very friendly and prepared for assisting foreign travelers

Review 24：It was very close to the national park. Nice hikes and view of glacier. We went in May and everything is pretty much closed. More of a winter resort place we were told. Only negative thing to say is we could not find the lights in the spa pool area. All the rest was very nice.

Review 27：The free and high-speed internet connection was especially helpful. Otherwise seemed to be a pretty typical kiwi motel - spare but fine. The lady managing the place was lovely. No full oven, bit it did include a dual "hotplate". However the price for one night in a quite small studio unit seemed high compared to other places we have stayed in.

Review 28：The wifi did not work in our room. Had to sit in reception and after playing around we got a good signal. This was our 5th motel in NZ and all except 1 had wifi problems.

Review 38：When I booked through this website I was told I was to have a apartment with spa bath and a terrace. There was access to a public spa pool and a shared grass area out side sliding doors with a wooden picnic table. The beds were terrible, far to soft and saggy.
