Reviews for Pai Village Boutique Resort & Farm

Review 1:No

Review 2:Very kind of the fronddesk staff, arrange the nice and romantic room for our ten years anniversary celebration. And also arrange a free wine for our dinner.

Review 3:Wonderful resort in an idyllic setting tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Pai's main streets but opens out on to them. Fabulous breakfast watching everyone meander up and down these lovely streets and extremely comfortable accommodation. The perfect stay!

Review 4:Loud music until 10pm. Loud talking from next door/cottage beyond 10pm My children and I can't sleep well.

Review 5:Staff are friendly and very helpful.

Review 6:Hut walls are thin so you will hear noise. If you like to be in bed asleep by 9pm it may bother you. Everything was completely quiet by 11pm which was fine by us because that is usually around the time we came back to the hotel.

Review 7:Great location, very pretty hotel grounds. The little bamboo huts were very cute, clean, and surprisingly bug free! Friendly staff and Pai is a laid back and great place to relax.

Review 8:Early morning check-out 7.45am with only one staff did not work well, the poor receptionist was overloaded.

Review 9:The staff make you feel you are a VIP, and that just you and your family are the most important for them.

Review 10:There is a lack of an 'information package' in the rooms detailing what things can be done, list of TV channels etc. The catering does not meet the standards of the price, the breakfast quality and service is not yet good enough (just bearable).

Review 11:Quiet and romantic setting but very central location. The hut construction is simple but of a good quality, matching the expectations of the price.

Review 12:Breakfast could have been better: very slow with the eggs and a bit disappointing, although maybe better if they weren't so busy.

Review 13:Very good location; just round the corner from walking street yet very peaceful at the bungalow within beautifully kept grounds and nice ambiance. Staff very friendly and helpful. Tip: recommend to visit their farm (5 mins away) and feed the animals - beautiful relaxing place and the nicest coconut I've ever had!

Review 14:Are all cottages in Pai like this? This made me fall in love with Pai. I would come again. I love the design, the comfort, the AC, everything.... OMG. Even the breakfast made me want to stay more. 10 minutes walk from Prempracha.... easy access! Good food too st the Steak House!

Review 15:Nothing

Review 16:We had the most incredible stay. From when we arrived to when we left we were in absolute awe of the resort. Never have we felt so relaxed and well looked after, every member of the staff we so polite and nothing was ever too much hassle. We just wish we could have stayed longer!

Review 17:We chose this place because of all good reviews and we made the right choice!!! The room has unique style and just got what we needed for a relaxing holiday. Very close to the walking street - less than 5 minutes walk. Breakfast was great with varieties of food and egg menu made to order. The best part was the staff with genuine smiles and helpful attitude. We really felt like home from the beginning until the end. Nothing was too much for them. Can't wait to go back and will recommend this place to friends and family.

Review 18:Some cooked breakfast items were a bit strange but the main buffet was nice.

Review 19:Amazing place, highlight of our trip so far. The bungalows are so cute and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and the lobby and restaurant areas were nice to hang around as well. Definitely recommend!

Review 20:The staff went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The location was perfect, we were steps away from the walking street, but tucked away from the noise.

Review 21:Reception closes at 2200 so if you need something afterwards, you've got no one to talk to. Terrible terrible noise in some hours of the day, including 4am. Thousands and thousands of birds fly on the trees around the hotel. There is nothing nice or cute about it, even for nature lovers. It's just terrible noise. Wouldn't recommend the place to light sleepers!!

Review 22:Great location, right in the center of Pai. Very nice pleasant place. Nice and helpful staff. Breakfast was OK.

Review 23:The walls are very thin, so you can hear everything from outside (and from the rest room inside), so it was difficult to fall asleep. The biggest problem was their "Steak House " - one of us had the salmon and got food poisoning!!! On top of everything we ordered the cottage and got the cheaper room . I wouldn't recommend to come near here.

Review 24:The room was very pretty, we had a warm welcome with fruits and free water every day.

Review 25:not convenient if you drive, parking space very limited. the rental price doesn't match the facilities & hotel condition. the landscape not well maintained. overpriced hotel.

Review 26:convenient, close to night market.

Review 27:A lot of ants.

Review 28:It's easy to find the hotel,in other words there's near the night market!!! The most important is environment very comfortable.

Review 29:Seems too much frogs talking too much over the night, if you prefer the quite room, this is not the option

Review 30:A very nice garden with lots of small cottage rooms.

Review 31:Not that you really need one but it would have been handy during the storms to have a TV in the room

Review 32:Great location, close to the main strip of Pai and the staff were amazing!

Review 33:Was kept up every night by the sound of wildlife crawling around the place, but I guess this is what you have to put up with if you're staying in a remote location in a house made of bamboo :)

Review 34:The bamboo hut was super cute, great location, friendly staff (especially the cleaners)

Review 35:Make sure to get Aircon hit as they get very hot, no fridge, Pai has lots of mosquitoes, bathroom has easy access for bugs

Review 36:Excellebt location one end of the walking street, cute hut, nice surroundings

Review 37:Although we had a discount for one day (was supposed to be £300 a night!) it still wasn't worth the £30 we spent. The rooms look nicer in the pictures, our toilet basin kept tilting as if it was going to fall off and they had several power its in the one night we stayed. The breakfast was gross.

Review 38:The staff were lovely and two of them even took us out to the waterfall. Good location to town centre.

Review 39:Yes it was noisy in the morning but your in a hut that doesn't have insulated walls so you have to exspect that. If your looking for a social hotel this isn't for you but awesome for couples. Also the restaurant seemed gimmicky so didn't eat there.

Review 40:Own little deck in hut. Comfy bed! Great location. Would come back 100%. Seemed geared to Asian tourists.

Review 41:Nothing! Addition of a pool would make the place perfect to cool off as the days were very hot..but just head to Fluid for a pool, only 10/15 mins walk and 60B entry.

Review 42:Location was perfect for walking street, bars, restaurants. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Grounds were lovely and very well maintained. Nice little simple bamboo huts. Felt a very authentic Pai experience.

Review 43:internet was a bit low

Review 44:Our bungalow was very clean and the bed pretty confortable. The staff Is very nice, they bring us to the room when we arrived. The location is perfect, 2 minutes walking from The main street.

Review 45:A chair on the balcony should be nice

Review 46:The quiet place , helpful people. ( we had a flat tire but they put the sparewheel for us on the car. Great work !!!) The breakfast was very good. Clean.

Review 47:Small room, no tv, no table, and very short distance between rooms. And it is really loudly outside, we can listen the neighbor conversation in the evening.

Review 48:Near to night market and around by bars and restaurants, good quality breakfast, nice garden view.

Review 49:The shower was clean but the water pressure was not great. However, these are individual huts so I appreciate that they were able to have ensuites available.

Review 50:Great location if you want walking access to downtown Pai cafes and Bars. Very friendly staff and cute room.

Review 51:Parking, Driving back to the resort during the night (walking street) almost seemed to be impossible.

Review 52:Great location, better staff. Perfect place for our getaway. Despite few parking, It's fantastic overall.

Review 53:The shower looked a bit grimy but I got clean just fine. The breakfast was ok - the "sausage" is actually a hot dog - gross.

Review 54:I loved the individual cabins. The front porch is great place to relax. The bed with the bug netting is romantic (even though it was only a queen) And yes the beds are all hard in Thailand so you can't hold that against them. The location could not be more perfect! Close to the action but far enough away that it is quiet. A side note on Pai - the quality of the items on the walking street are far superior (and cheaper) than the items in Chaing Mai. Buy your gifts for people here.

Review 55:we had some inconsiderate people stay in next door cabin one night and it was very noisy.

Review 56:the nicest most friendly and helpful staff I have ever encountered. Beautiful grounds and a feeling of serenity. Fantastic food in the restaurant, great entertainment every night.fantastic I'll be back!

Review 57:The lighting wasn't grest so sometimes in the cabin it was hard to see. But that was a minor thing. Over all we loved the place!

Review 58:The staff here were so lovely and helpful! They always had a smile on their face and loved a chat! The bed was super comfortable and the room very cosy!

Review 59:Hot water was not consistent. You can hear everything outside of your room due to very thin wall.

Review 60:Location. Friendliness and helpfulness of staffs. Breakfast.

Review 61:The walls are paper thin and you are basically awake until everyone around you in other rooms go to sleep as well.

Review 62:The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and so relaxing, the rooms are great, the garden is amazing, and the food was phenomenal. It's also in the perfect location in Pai to walk around everywhere. Loved staying here!

Review 63:The walls are paper thin, noise issues beyond what is acceptable. We could hear people in the bathroom next to us, and people walking outside as if we were camping. We could even listen in on conversations in the hut next to us. Also, the music from surrounding bars is easily heard at night. Not the greatest value for money.

Review 64:Staff were great, comfortable bed.

Review 65:The wifi was a bit instable, potatoes for breakfast were cold (served with omelette), the water for the shower was not hot enough.

Review 66:The bungalows are very nice and the garden of the hotel is beautiful too. Equipment of the room is good: hair dryer, safe, torch, etc. are available. I traveled alone and would probably not pay the amount for the stay again. However, for couples the hotel is a really nice accommodation.

Review 67:room is very small, shower is not too good because it is for one person is ok, but water its not warm for second person

Review 68:good location, its very original, service is excellent.breakfast is good

Review 69:weather at night in Pai is a bit cold, but the shower water takes a long time to get hot

Review 70:the location is good, you can find many good bars and restaurants nearby it's quiet at night, good for sleep the staffs are nice and helpful

Review 71:There were a few things that needed upgrading in our room which we noted on our checkout paper.

Review 72:Great location, and the woman at the desk was super helpful and friendly. Everyone who worked there made every effort to make our stay a pleasant one. The garden setting is beautiful.

Review 73:Should have booked to stay longer

Review 74:The hotel is conveniently located just down the walking street next to the river. The staff are charmingly friendly and helpful. The hotel grounds are beautiful with individual cottages amidst lush gardens and streams.

Review 75:Very nice huts and were set in pretty gardens. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. It's like camping in a hut so expect some noises, we had very disrespectful Chinese in next hut who were up til early hours shouting , but prob a one off! Location very good, by river and access to everything.

Review 76:It is very close to the bus station, just 5 mins by walk. Very close to the night market. Easy to get motorcycle rent. Very yummy food, very good live music show. The service of the staff is excellent as well. I love the beautiful staff Banana's smile:)

Review 77:The mosquito net blocks the air made by the fan. The terrace was dusty. The walls are very thin so you can hear your neighbors easily.

Review 78:Nice design. The room was clean. They upgraded our room to an aircon room for free. Close to the walking street. The staff was very polite and helpful.

Review 79:Sometimes, the internet wifi is not stable If you have noisy neighbor, you could hear them since the hut made from wood and bamboo but not a big deal for me and the hotel have ask every customer to lower their voice after 10 pm.

Review 80:5 minutes walking distance from bus station Kind and helpful staff, they offer me a ride to the bus station, and introduce the city attractions. Very peaceful and comfortable private hut equipped with fundamental facilities.

Review 81:Working during the day prepering for hot season - noisy. Frogs "bark" at night but only until 11 pm

Review 82:Great stuff, very kind and helpful Good food at morning Good restaurant at evening. Location great - in the middle of town

Review 83:Hotel location was excellent among the natural. It was vary easy to find only 10 mins from bus station. Specially, for the staff who always helpful and friendly. Generally, all were so good. The hut was very nice!! The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful and included in room rate (breads, cereals, salad, fresh juice, coffee, tea etc.) Evening time, the restaurant was fantastic with the steakhouse. Try it !! I would recommend this to my friends, definitely!! Thanks to everyone for a great stay here. :) Would stay here again.

Review 84:Huts too close together with paper-thin walls Construction work going on every day...so much noise Breakfast was poor with few, if any, items for Westerners. Beds uncomfortable...huts not very well maintained

Review 85:Staff in Reception were fine and spoke good English The garden was well cared for

Review 86:The staff was amazing! Always smiling! They set up a romantic dinner (honeymoon), always helped and gave tips. The location is very good - there isn't any noise, but it's close to everything. Nice breakfast.

Review 87:The shower worked hardly and we had no terrace furniture

Review 88:We liked the very central position of Ban Pai! You walk 1 Minute and you're in "market" and bar street. Its very quiet though! It was clean and cozy and we liked the clima while sleeping in the room!

Review 89:The walls are thin so if you're a light sleeper you will hear other guests but during our stay guests we're considerate so this wasn't a problem.

Review 90:Lovely staff and grounds, excellent location close to the main drag and yet quiet.

Review 91:Location is at the end of walking street. Pai in general is more focused on young backpackers, you can hear reggae music and get plenty of tattoos with that's why you came to Thailand. I would stay outside the city center if we went back.

Review 92:Decent bungalow and bathroom. Restaurant and bar were nice, live music every night until 2200. Massages at the on site place were cheap and great.

Review 93:Attention to detail: staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help. Gave us a free upgrade when we came back again after a two day trek. Quirky bungalows in a beautiful garden location and right in the centre of the town, very clean. Breakfast excellent. Evening live music was nice and didn't go on too late to interrupt sleep.

Review 94:Everything . The staff is amazingly caring , professional and kind . The setting is most romantic with a lot of attention to details . The huts are authentic , comfortable and so charming . The breakfast buffet is five star hotel like . Location is perfect . Helpful and kindest staff you can wish for . All in all we fell nurtured and our time there will never be forgotten ! Been travelling the world a lot but rarely found such a magic place . Smile and you will get it all ...

Review 95:Bungalows were perfect clean all you need for a short stay staff were lovely very helpful and make a great smoothie ! I Recommend staying here such a good location

Review 96:There were a LOT of mosquitos all over Pai, but they seemed to be especially concentrated on our porch. Our whole hut seemed to tilt slightly backwards, but we made the best of it and pretended we had a reclining toilet.

Review 97:Excellent location; we easily walked all over Pai. The breakfast was included in our rate and was DELICIOUS. They had a LOT of jams, and they had peanut butter!

Review 98:Quiet place in a great location Excellent breakfast Very friendly staff

Review 99:A bit expensive
