Review 1：Beds were old and uncomfortable. Decor was outdated. It was clean but there was a dreadful smell from the drains after showering and using the basin etc. We feel the rate was too high considering other accommodation we stayed in on our trip for the same or less money.

Review 3：The room was a large well equipped and clean studio and we appreciated the free WiFi. Made to feel welcome by the friendly owner.

Review 5：Plenty of room in the apartment which was bright and airy, good sized kitchenette, handy location walking distance to town. Good laundry facilities. Windows were double glazed to keep out the noise but that also kept out the fresh air.
Review 6：Road noise, soft bed, no proper couch, no toaster. No local tourist info supplied in room. Staff disinterested, though not rude. Rooms face west so very bright until quite late as curtains too thin (kids couldn't get to sleep). Bland outdated decor. No air-con or fan, couldn't open windows because of noise.

Review 8：No heated towel rails, unit freezing upon arrival, asked for a fan heater and got a gruff reply, unit very spartan, no soap provided had to ask, no venting in bathroom or toilet, unit quite unclean including no vacuuming under beds.
Review 9：Couldn't get onto wifi not sure my or their end but didn't really matter cups were filthy and I paid with my credit card night of arriving had given by Visa debit number when booking tho. Imagine my surprise I put key in office and we left was in town got a call to say my card had declined I told her we paid the night before and to check she did then kinda apologised then hung up i did not like the impression she gave that we were doing a runner
Review 10：It was basic shower was devine pressure was so nice but wouldn't put my 8 yr old granddaughter in as she would've been pushed over has a leak too cos floor got pretty wet near toilet
Review 11：We were visiting Thames only for a night and was really surprised at the Shortland motel, from the layout to the amenities, lovely bright white towels and sheets, very comfortable king size bed, great little cot for our 8 month old, it was just really good value. Everything was there, decent TV, loads of sky channels and overall everything just felt fresh. Highly recommend.

Review 16：Then bed was well over due for replacement. I t was soft and we kept rolling into the middle, consequently we had a shocking sleep. This is not good enough because after all, we only stayed there to sleep.

Review 74：The town emergency alarm cited outside the room on the side road. Unfortunately it went off twice each night I was staying.
