Review 1：Although it did not really affect us since we were visiting family at Christmas. When we arrived we saw a sign that the restaurant was closed from Dec 22 thru 27. This wasn't made known at time of booking and may have been a problem for some travelers.

Review 2：Very warm friendly staff from front desk throughout. Rooms were excellent hotel is spotless, very comfortable rooms and great location. We were in a rush for a flight early morning and the staff put together an impromptu "packed snack" for the road - nice touch! We would recommend.

Low maintenance of gardens and public areas, coffee machine needed cleaning etc. i stayed here 8 years ago and it was excellent.very disappointing to see it run down as it is.

Also massage facilities/therapists were booked out for 4 days. Is this due to outside clientele?? Resort customers should have first preference. Night menu could have 1-2 more items not related to seafood. WiFi was very low and unreliable. Needed more pillows available.

Review 32：One word to summarize: disappointing. High expectations turned to dust. We paid extra to get a bigger room with a sea view, but experienced a dark room with a bed almost falling apart and hardly any lighting anywhere in the room. And what was called a sea view was just a small peek of the lake somewhere far away. Even though the bed seemed clean, it is never a good feeling to pay for a hotel room and to have a constant feeling that nothing in the room is quite clean. Sticky, dusty and dirty. Ashtray on the balcony should have been emptied before arrival, but it did not happen during the two days we stayed in the hotel. Restaurant was just there to feed the guests, not to give any kind of positive experience. And yes, the Spa we was promised…….a big joke.

Review 34：The lack of service and care for the well being of the customer. I made a special needs request for breakfast (gluten-free vegan) at reservation as well as by phone and face to face at the reception upon arrival. I was told the chef was informed and everything was taken care of. Diffrent story for breakfast, nothing prepared and more than that, lack of interest to accomodate the request in any way. My breakfast that morning consisted in a tomato and half of carot... you should be really ashame for this! I booked the Junior Suite with Spa package. After being told that we will not be able to use the SPA due to late arrival and opening hours of the SPA (12pm to 20pm) we were advised to use the outisde pool (at 22pm). Eventually, after seing us getting upset for not being informed at reservation about the opening hours of the SPA, they agread to open it for us at 10 am, right before the check out. The room was very nice and has a nice terase with a view over the pool and ... the street with high traffic. So you can imagine the noise if you want to stay on the terase or by the pool.

I didnt like that as a paying guest I was asked to pay 10 euros to sit on the grass outside my hotel room.(I wasnt even using the pool). The hotel says the spa is open at 10am,this is a lie and I waited 20 minutes for someone to open it,they asked for 5euros more after I'd paid 10euros the night before to use the spa.

Rooms, especially on the first floor, are extremely hot, even in wintertime. In summer you have to beg for the airconditioning to be switched on (the control panel in the room is a joke). All in all: it saddens me what has become of this hotel. Time for a change of management!

Review 91：The rooms and the whole corridor on the first floor smelled terrible, almost like you're sleeping in a smudgy pack of cigarettes. Also, the rooms were very tiny, terribly poor-lit, very stuffy, old-fashioned and most things did not work properly (doors were hard to open and close, tv and airconditioning did not work, faucet made a loud noise, some lights were broken etc.). We also found some trash of previous visitors in the drawers (list of groceries, train schedules, candy), so it felt kind of dirty.. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was also disappointing. Very pretentious, but lower quality and higher price than any surrounding restaurant. Lamb was ordered medium, entrecote steak well-done (repeated it clearly twice to make sure they got it right), but we got it the other way around, and the entrecote was not even medium, but just really bloody raw. Did not stay for dessert nor coffee, because it was just too noisy with screaming babies and a drunk company party. Staff lacked hospitality, did not make the customer feel welcome, and forgot to mention all the usual hotel stuff (check out time, breakfast times and possibilities, wifi- and all other facilities), so we had to ask for everything ourselves. We would never go back to this hotel and strongly recommend others to NOT book this hotel, as there are plenty of other, and definitly better ones in the region!

Review 93：Ideal for Malpensa and driving to the other lakes and Como, a little close to a main road but the traffic reduces at night and didnt bother us, we slept with the patio doors open all night. I would not have liked the rooms on the front but the rear facing upstairs rooms have a view of the lake. The Spa and indoor pool was perfect, along with the restauant, the chef at the Hotel was very good we didnt need to go out at night as the food was excellant.

Review 94：- The building looks from outside quite old and needs renovation. - The junior suites are very small and the only advantage is that they are newly renovated. - There is a main street between hotel and lake which is quite noisy. - The heating was activated on a high level and could not be reduced. - The variety at breakfast was poor and even poorer when arriving late. - The holder for the shower head was broken why it could not be fixed steadily but it was sliding down over and over.
