Reviews for Cotswold Cottage Bed and Breakfast

Review 1:There is nothing we did not like. The only suggestion is that the four-post bed is clearly too small for tall, big-made guests, and should be replaced asap with a bigger (king-sized) bed.

Review 2:The scenic location, the very friendly and helpful hosts, and the relaxed atmosphere.

Review 3:Having to leave!

Review 4:Stunning location. Beautiful country setting surrounded by rolling green hills and fruit trees. Relaxing, peaceful and tranquil. The cottage is well equipped , modem and very comfortable. Breakfast provisions are provided. We can't wait until we return. Anne and David are wonderful hosts. A perfect place to relax and unwind. Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove are nearby and an easy drive.

Review 5:The centre of town was not within walking distance but it is in a lovely rural setting

Review 6:Friendly hosts who were fun to talk to and very helpful . Excellent room with a v. good breakfast served in a lovely dining room. Nice residents lounge with a very welcome tea with home made scones and lemon curd served on arrival. Seeing more kingfishers in a walk along the river nearby than we've seen in a lifetime in the UK

Review 12:Just the perfect bed and breakfast experience. Wonderful hosts, friendly and helpful. The four poster bed/spa bath made it hard for me to leave, so will def be back. And the breakfast was so large I didn't eat anything again until the end of the day!!

Review 14:One of the best B and Bs we stayed in during our 3 weeks in New Zealand. Lovely hosts, great breakfast, very clean and comfortable room. Hosts had good restaurant and activity suggestions. Very much enjoyed our stay here. Particularly nice that they would do laundry for a small charge. Not very common in B and Bs.

Review 43:Location- quiet, nice views Hosts- very helpfull & welcoming Breakfast- vast choice, fresh & delicious. Room- very cosy with everything we needed.

Review 44:Thames is on the estuary side of the Corramandel Peninsula and has mudflats rather than beaches. But Thames is in easy drive of the beaches on the Eastern side of the Peninsula.

Review 45:Beautifully appointed bed and breakfast guest house with attentive hosts - just an hour's drive from Auckland airport. The gardens and view across the river added to the most relaxing stay of our visit to New Zealand.

Review 86:I could not fault Cotswold Cottage in any way. I am only sorry I could not have stayed longer. Adrienne & Garth were wonderful hosts who could not do enough for me. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this B&B to anyone looking for accommodation in the Thames area.

Review 87:Everything was perfect, except for the stormy weather!

Review 88:Garth and Adrienne were lovely people; very welcoming and friendly. Very relaxing laid back atmosphere and very accommodating. Delicious Breakfasts and Afternoon Tea.

Review 89:The rooms are an extension to the original property, and are separated by thin plasterboard so you can hear guests in other rooms, a bit overpriced.

Review 90:Great hosts, offered local knowledge of areas to visit, pleasant location excellent breakfast

Review 91:Wi Fi, which was suppose to work, didn't. Time for breakfast was very limited option.

Review 92:Very comfy bed, yummy breakfast. Nice room (looked smaller than in the photo). Nice rural views. Good hosts

Review 93:This place was ok..I would probably shop around and you can find a better place for a more reasonable price. I found price was to high for what you get. In my month of traveling in New Zealand, this was my least favorite. Hosts were friendly enough, but not overly compared to other experiences in my stays at b&b's.

Review 94:Everything we needed: a chance to get over a lot of travelling in comfort and peace and warm friendliness. And when I was foolish enough to leave something behind the owners agreed to meet us a long way off to bring it to us. - way beyond the call of duty!

Review 95:Need to drive into Thames at night for evening meal nothing in walking distance not a major problem only 5 min drive

Review 97:The hosts , Garth and Adrienne , were excellent . Their home is in a quiet location, outside the town, set in lovely surroundings on the top of a hill overlooking the river. Nothing was too much trouble. They were very welcoming and recommended local places of interest to see. Super full breakfast. Arrived as strangers but when we left felt like friends!

Review 98:The owners made us very welcome and were extremely helpful with information on the local area. Lovely breakfast and use of a spa pool. Terrific views.

Review 99:There is not really much to do in Thames itself, but the location is a great place to stop and stay for touring Coromandel

Review 100:Absolutely lovely country house, friendly and helpful host couple who gave plenty of useful tips of what to do in the area. Lovely rooms, great, genuine athmosphere. Excellent way to start our NZ holiday!

Review 101:The room was a bit stuffy, could use a fan. The wifi was not working.

Review 102:The location is excellent, a beautiful view of the Thames valley. Adrian and Garth were friendly and very helpful. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. They get that travellers have luggage, two people have two suitcases, there were two luggage racks, and two shelves in the bathroom for toiletry cases! Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend this B & B however it is on the pricey side.

Review 103:There was nothing to complain about!

Review 104:We liked everything about this property - what a gem! Owners were delightful, breakfast selection was excellent, and the property was just gorgeous! We would have liked to stay longer - the Coromandel Peninsular was beautiful too.

Review 105:Nothing - it was great.

Review 106:We were very fortunate to spend our first night in nz here - we justwish it had been longer. The welcome we received was very warm, and wewere offered not just tea, but a pre-dinner snack, as we last eaten atbreakfast time. We preordered dinner which was delicious, and breakfastwas just as good. The house is in a lovely position with delightfulgardens overlooking the race course, and our room was extremelycomfortable.
