Review 1：No communication from staff,no introductions of staff, waited 30 min to get keys to room,no sheets on the bed, one out of three air conditioner's in the two bed appartment working.Putrid smell in lift for three days.,, ,,,

Review 2：Location, pool clean and tidy, room tastefully decorated.

Review 3：2hrs before we arrived I called the manager to find out where we can get the key. He informed me that we should go to the hotel. On arrival there was no one at reception, we where told by the security that they had not arrived for the day. We waited a hour and called numerous times to the manager who told us he was on the way. We where then informed that they only had 2 of our rooms ready and the 3rd they did not have. As we had been traveling for long we asked if we could get dinner and come back later for the keys. We received our 3 room keys that night. Only to find 2 rooms air-con never worked, that night we barely slept in the heat. The next morning we asked to move rooms. Later that night when we got back, the rooms where still not finished. we where also downgraded to none sea-facing rooms as we had booked. The rooms where still not cleaned, no linen on the one bed, no shower spout and dishes in the rack. There was again no one to fix our problems. So for our 2 night stay we did not get what we paid for, had to move rooms, received dirty rooms and paid in full, the manager was no where to be seen and informed us on checking out he had not been in. I find this totally unacceptable as this was a surprise christmas present for my family and our entire trip to the North was ruined.

Review 4：Aircon not working in bedroom for 2 days. Not set up for self catering - no pots, utensils, 2 plate stove not working properly. Had to ask for clean towels & toilet paper on a regular basis. Showerhead broken, water not running properly in bathroom sink. Staff & Management need to improve their customer service

Review 5：Cleanliness was way below average.at some point the hotel didn't have water and no water storage facilities were available. We only got breakfast on the first day. The workers all went on holiday.

Review 6：The Manager Micheal really tired. Nilesh the night manager was just amazing. He went up and above the call of duty to see us comfortable.

Review 7：When we checked in, the room was not cleaned. AC in the living room was down. There was no tape water in the bathroom. We booked the room with "half pension ". But we didn't get one time the breakfast! In the first evening the reception told us that the dinner would be served in the room at around 19:30. But we waited till 21:30 and after 3 times asking, we got at last some "take-away " food from a restaurant...Second day again no room cleaning service! Nobody came to fix the AC and the tape! Wifi only in the bedroom! In the evening we were again sent to a restaurant nearby to get our dinner ....... Totally disaster!

Review 9：Running out of water on a few occasions (water is trucked in each day or so) Minimal and odd assortment of kitchen utensils The units are finished to a high standard but it seems that operations and maintenance are being done on a shoestring and general deterioration is evident. We booked 2 sea facing rooms but on arrival were allocated 1 sea facing and 1 supermarket parking lot facing. Had to wait an hour for them to resolve the problem which they did, but we did not appreciate this hassle at the end of a long day of travelling. In addition the water to the first sea facing apartment we were allocated was turned off on arrival and we had to wait for a mainenance person to come and turn it on. Sufficient linen for all beds was never received for 1 of our apartments despite multiple requests. Same for the key to the apartment safe. The aircon units in 1 apartment were not working on arrival. 2 of the 3 were repaired a day or so later but we were informed that the remaining one had burnt out and could not be repaired, which meant one family member had no aircon in their bedroom for the duration

Review 12：very disappointed , a complete disaster during on the eve of specially on Christmas.

The rooms are really large and you feel really at ease Since we had a late check in, Mr Michael Siow has gracefully done the necessary to accomodate us for a last check out also. Review 25：Our overall experience was of poor customer service. Which was a real shame because this place has so much potential. It just needs the management and cleaning staff to take action to make it cleaner, and less issues. Nilesh was very helpful and tried his best to work something out for us. We arrived at check in time but had to wait 45 minutes before our room was ready. When we went in, the toilet was dirty, there was no soap, no internet access and bedroom lights didn't work! We were offered a new room, which had better internet, but when we asked how to heat up the hot tub, the manager told us that it only had cold water. He said that it was just how it is, as if all the hot tubs were cold. This was a huge disappointment! We asked another staff member who explained that you do normally have hot water, but this one was broken. Its disappointing when the manager is dishonest and just hopes you wont make a fuss, so that they can get away with not fixing their property. Long story short, they moved us again twice, before finally finding a room with a warm hot tub, internet and a bit cleaner. To compensate us for so much wasted time, they gave us breakfast, which was a nice offer. Breakfast was simple and small, but we appreciated it. My parents in law stayed in the standard room for one night, and found their room had no toilet paper and damp towels. Again, we thought this place had amazing potential, and several of the staff were really helpful and polite. They just need to fix these basic things to that we don't spend half our holiday trying to sort out these simple things. We hope that they can improve, as they were kind people and deserve success.

Review 26：The hot tub was amazing when we were finally given a working one! The view of the ocean is lovely, especially at sunset. The beach is only minutes walk away and it is stunning! The apartment was spacious. Nilesh was very helpful and tried his best to find solutions to the numerous issues. Winners supermarket is very convenient and has a wide variety of food and products.

Review 27：1. The room was not cleaned everyday that meant towels were not changed as well. During my four days stay, the room was cleaned only once. 2. The mattress was extremely hard, a softer mattress is needed. 3. Lastly, the room was not decorated/set-up as it was shown on the internet. The internet picture was misleading.

Rarely wad there anyone on the desk. The WiFi pitifully slow when briefly available 500Kb download took ten minutes. Staff did try to help but problems. A shame it very very ruined our stay in Mauritius. Would not recommend!the safe in the Penthouse missing ("customer list key") wood gouged out-of door frame ("customer lost key").

The convenience store at the base of the facility is clean and provides a vast array of requirements for visitors staying at Burnas. The staff is very friendly and helpful in every way and goes out of their way to provide excellent services to the visitors. We would highly recommend Burnas Beach Resort to our family and friends. Review 41：My room was incredible but the rest was a real let down. I cant reallysay that everything else was lacking, missing, not working or justBlatantly not there!! For self catering, I struggled for cutlery andutencils etc. I was gobsmacked when I was told cash only to settle myBill upon arrival and card machine not working til 3 days later, buteven though id, check in from booking.com etc, I was basically beingtold that payment was needed now. Im sorry, but travelling 6k Miles andwanting to check in to be told I need to pay all the cash I had on mewas a no go for me and had to leave the Managers to contact the owner tosay Im staying and you will have to wait for your money. It wasnt nicebut also not right for that attitude. Owner felt he cldnt or wldnt wantto speak to us in person but hide behind his staff. Tic for tac imafraid. After the 3 days, there is no card machine or its existence. Alil cash/tax scam going down there in my professional opinion. Butplease dont use your loyal clients to do your dirty job, at leastaccommodate them, then ask for cash. Overall, Managers made it apleasant stay !! please fix it, it has massive Potential and needs theright person to run it !!

Review 42：Loved the location and my Penthouse Suite. I even upgraded my family topenthouse, as this was much more value for money in comparison. Nileshthe night Manager was one of my best selected host I have experienced inin all my travels, worldwide. This man is your angel there, not just forthe hotel but about excursions and island information. Vanesha has agreat smile. Managers have the potential but their leads need to beextended and free to provide the service they know how too. A lilpolitical for me, its almost off putting.

Review 48：The place was indeed huge but the bedrooms are small and without outside windows. The sea view is far away and partly blocked by a building development. The jacuzzi is nice, until your neighbours start to use theirs late at night.... But there were a lot of other flaws. Kitchen equipment missing, one towel, cleanliness issues, broken lights.... the only compensation for this was the friendly helpfulness of the staff. Despite the location, the size and the jacuzzi these flaws make it not as good a value for money as the text on Booking.com wants you to believe.

Review 49：I booked a penthouse because of location, size, sea view and the bonus of a jacuzzi on the terrace. The apartment is close to the beach and above a supermarket. Jacuzzi worked fine but noisy. OK wifi in the room.

Review 52：When we booked a room, its description stated "balcony with a garden view", but all apartments on our side of the building had "car park view" instead, and there was quite a smell of cars on a balcony. Furthermore, apartments are right above a supermarket, and air conditioning has its output on the balconies. So there is a non-stop stream of very hot air on the balconies. Also sounds from the supermarket are very loud.

Review 61：Wi fi inexistent in the room which is a must .Then facility of Wi-Fi was provided two days before we left. Need review of cleaning frequency and quality of cleaning not monitored. Room /kitchen and bathroom accessories not repaired or replaced. Soap for shower not provided , roof on the balcony exposed to sun and installation was effected on Xmas eve!!!!! Towel provision is a real issue and it appears that management or landlord wishes to save money by replacing towels every two days!!!

Review 65：dirty windows, and shower doors. No mop or broom so we can clean the room ourselves, as they don't come to clean every day. No bottle opener and very few kitchen appliances. No gym! small fridge, very little space to cook. We had to ask for wine glasses. Copper taps are very dirty. I know it is humed, but a polish now and then will make a huge difference. Our first reservation in a different room type went OFF our crdit card, while it states on the confirmation that it won't until 6Nov, so when we changed the room type, we could not get out money back without many bankcharges. This forced us to stay here.

Review 67：It is advertised as a beach resort, it is not a resort. It is self catering apartments. The bathrooms were so dirty that we refused to shower in it. We struggled to get the staff to clean it properly. Breakfast is severed in the parking area and the breakfast is prepared in the pool store room among all the pool equipment. We have booked dinner at the hotel, on arriving we asked were will be having dinner for the 3 nights we have booked, we were informed that they do not serve dinner and we will be having it at a restaurant. I will not recommend this place to anyone. It was the most filthy place we ever stayed in. The linen on the beds were dirty and the towels were worn and grey. I just do not know how people can sell rooms to tourist in a state like it is.

Review 71：Lack of maintenance of apartment. Cracks on the wall even though it is a new hotel. Shower No. 1 leaked as seal was broken and we were advised there were no spare parts. Second bathroom's shower curtain was down to our knees level hence water was splashing everywhere from under the curtain. Bathroom window opened on the balcony and window shade did not give enough privacy from other hotel guests using the balcony. One of the bedrooms had no natural light.

Review 74：I would start by saying Congratulation to Michael and his team and are really doing a great job. We’ve been there for our wedding anniversary. The place is perfectly situated and with all the facilities at door step. The rooms are outstanding, Vanesha, nilesh,amar etc makes our stay really first-class, and without forgetting the lady who prepared our breakfast in the morning. Definitely we are looking forward for our next holiday at Burnas resort. Yet i would like to add something about all those who complain about bur nas, I'll explain myself, most of the people are complaining about the staff, no smile at reception etc, but i would like to know whether these people came there to have their holiday at the reception or to enjoy pereybere ?? Michael and his team are doing there level best to make all clients satisfied, we have been to so many places and i can say that these guy is truly doing a great job. Keep it up Michael. Nit & Anne

Review 89：Windowless bedrooms is a let down. Wifi should be available in all rooms.

Review 90：I went there with my two young children and straightaway felt at home. We felt safe, comfortable and most importantly happy. The staff, especially Dinesh, Jean Marie and Anwar were so helpful and caring. Cleaning ladies really polite. My kids have told me they would like to go there again next year. I am still dreaming of the place. I especially liked the balcony where you can get access to wifi and the perfect view. I can still feel the cool breeze on my face. The beach less than five minutes away and a fantastic supermarket just a stroll away.

Review 91：Excellent location for the hotel- brief walk to the beach and located near a supermarket. Very spacious and nice rooms. The staff- Michael, Amar, Nilesh and Vanessa were very friendly- and helped make my stay at Mauritius memorable. Will not hesitate to book it again for my next trip to Mauritius.

It is perfectly located, the Pereybere beach is just 5 minutes walk from there and that beach is considered to be the best one in Mauritius Island so it is really convenient. Really good kitchen facilities and a friendly staff ready to help you to be at the comfort of your house.

Review 97：Good location situated on top of winners supermarket & 5 mins from beach. All staff especially Vanisha and Neilesh very hospitable and helpful, day and night. Loved the presidential suit with jacuzzi hot tub. Executive room is good value for money. The manager Michael and the maintenance man Jeanmarie was extremely helpful. Review 100：the manager is too strict, we had family visitors who came to have dinner with us but the manager said he is only giving them two hours and they have leave we ended up not having the family dinner together to avoid being thrown out of property. The manager should relax a little with the rules. The breakfast was rubbish not much selection not worth a penny when you can go grocery shopping just below and make your own breakfast.
