Review 1：The 1st disappointment was that the resort was not on the beach (youhave to take their shuttle for 30min ride to reach the beach..Multiple stops)1- we arrived at night, no reception and no one to show us around. It was a surprise as evin through e-mail we didnt know that there will be bo reception services at the location at all. 2- The villa was not cleaned well and I found 2 Lezards in it with their stool on the edge of the sink. I struggled and called a helpful staff who initially seemed to be useless then after many calls he came and changed our villa to a clean one without lizards

Review 14：Location is extermlly quite! freeks out somenights. Room services will only be provided on a morning, which just kills the evening lovers Cleaning can be better. TV channels only in France, English channels should be installed.

Review 17：The villa is fully equipped with swimming pool, living area and nice kitchen. It also provide us with the privacy compare to normal Hotel. The staff was extremely polite and very helpful. Yona the hostess was extremely helpful in getting what we needed and assist us to book for tours. Nitesh the compound driver was extremely helpful to get us around the city and the airport. Wonderful people.

Review 18：The water heater is poor, it works only 5 minuets then it the water becomes half-cold. The pool is dirty full of leafs and the water is too cold and the edges inside are sharp and dangerous so you wont enjoys swimming as you think. Far from the shops and the beach you must go by taxi

Review 20：Breakfast included only Danish's, croissant, and baguette. ( tea, coffee, juice included) We had to buy eggs and other stuff if required from the supermarket. Since it's a villa and a tropical place, my wife got bitten by insects. But we didn't carry repellents. The air conditioning was not great, but I've learnt it's the standard on the island. I had set the room to 18 deg c, but It wouldnt cool below 24. (I have stayed in 3 diff properties in MRU this trip - north, south, east of this island). Internet was not high speed like the other properties (512KB)

Review 21：The villa was very clean, as if it was a new property. The package included a maid who would make breakfast and clean in the morning as well as do our laundry with the in house washing machine. They offered us mosquito coils. The pool was cleaned every day or so. I would definitely stay there again as we loved the place. I am considering sending my parents to this place.

Review 24：The checkout process: 1. The lady representing our hostess, Yona, was more than 30 minutes late almost making me miss my flight. 2. Wanted me to pay for staining my own small towel because they did not do a proper reconciliation of their own towels. 3. Made me pay for a large towel the was stained because the sorting was not done properly 4. Made me pay for the finial on the upstairs window which we found broken and was removed when I wanted to take it with me which led me to think it is a scam they pull on all the occupants and will continue to pull as long as they have it in their possession as no one will think of checking finials upon occupation. 5. I did not get a receipt after paying the 1700 MUR (900 for towel & 800 for finial). I will not be returning to evaco run resorts even though I plan on visiting mauritius again as this experience spoilt my stay and left such a bitter taste in mouth. 5

Even if it is a tropical island that is not a reason at all.. I don't advise anyone to spend a second there because it won't worth nothing to pay.. Review 32：1) Break fast is not to the mark.Just few bread and Jam. I request oasis to consider Egg omlet and tea/cofee to be included as just bread an jam is not preffred by many.2) Internet was not available in our Villa and it took 2 days to give us a wifi but it never worked, but in booking it was mentioned avaibale.So we were cut from internet completely. 3) Baisc need stuff like Milk/Bread/ and few vegetables should be available to buy with in the compound as the day we land and check in we have nothing to eat otherwise.

Staying Oasis Villa - 2 nearGrand Bai was excellent as t has 2 bedroom with personal sit our andswimming pool.We enjoyed the stay and were able to cook our own meal.Ambience was nice as it is green and well maintained inside and outsidewith good security on the main gate.The Taxi Driver ":NITISH" was excellent and very very trust worthy and resonable and I would highly appriciate his services.He even helped me with Police as one tour operator just vanished with 5000Rs of mine.If not for Nitish I would have never got the money back.Thanks to Him. I would recommend the same.

Review 34：Poor, every day the same breakfast with croissant, dry bred and alwaysone sort of much too sweet jam. No fruits or cheese or eggs, etc. whichwould be an easy effort and satisfaction to be reached by management.The beach is 15 minutes by car away, and you even pay for the beachchair, even you use it only for 2 hours - this should be included in thehotel price, not a smart business policy. We've choosen the publicbeaches, is more fun and nicer! Everybody wants to cheat you, startingwith the Taxi Drivers, people selling you food and souvenirs, if youdon't know the correct price levels you sometimes feel very much fooled.

Review 35：The 2-bedroom-villa is great, nice pool and garden, great and fullyequipped kitchen and very relaxed and cosy atmosphere. Perfect if yousearch for calm and a private vacation, without dress-code and eating-schedule stress like in the big hotels. Maid-service and stafffriendliness fits the expectations. Getting fresh fruits andvegetables, fresh fish in Grand Baie is easy, if you like cookingavoid the expensive reataurants ;-). We recommend to use "taxiMauritus www.taximauitius.com" for airport pickup and half- or full-day tours, they have fair prices, are reliable and know the nice spotson the island.
