Review 1：The room was very clean but there was quite a bit of dust on the wine glasses and around the shelf in general and that was bit of a let down but hey it wasn't the end of the world.

Review 2：I found the staff very prompt responding to queries, and it's refreshing to receive such courteous and polite service. I also found front reception to be knowledgable and gave a great overall run of activities/facilities in New Plymouth which I greatly appreciated as it was my first visit. The room is extremely comfortable with everything you would want and the plunger coffee with the cookies was a pleasant touch. I also came to really appreciate the excellent block out curtains for a late morning start especially when my next stop in Napier just didn't quite do the same. Definitely would return for another trip!

Review 3：This hotel is in a great location - at the top end of the main street, opposite the Len Lye gallery yet really quiet. We stayed in a Queen Victoria suite and it was fabulous - a separate lounge and a beautiful bedroom which was so quiet and dark that a great nights sleep was guaranteed. If you wanted to you could stay in the suite the whole time - there is room service on tap and a great deck with a dining table where we whiled away a few hours gazing at the gallery and people watching. The staff are second to none - we booked this suite a few months ago for the New Year break and due to mechanical issues with our motor bike we had to cancel 36 hours before our arrival and then as we fixed the bike tried to re-book - luckily we were able to and the lovely Daniel upgraded us back to the suite at a discounted price. This is our second time at the King and Queen Suites and we will be back - :-)

Review 7：Very friendly staff, nicely appointed and handily located to pretty much everything. Great room size and layout and good to have a kitchenette (and a good range of teas). Loved the fact the toilet was in a separate room to the bathroom. Comfortable beds and good noise insulation.

Review 8：The Staff were very curteous, and Luke who greated us initially and showed us to our room was extremely helpful explaining everything in the room. The Rooms are extremely quiet, no noise from other bathrooms or TV's playing. The Bed was very comfortable with no roll or even bump when my partner turned over. We found the use of the bikes wonderful and the locality great. It was also good to charge our meals from various establishments to our account. I would certainly come back again. Also the place smelt really nice.

Review 9：The Tempur adjustable Superking bed in the Anniversary Suite is just the icing on the cake. This is one understated classy establishment in a very cool precinct.

Review 12：The location. The bed was extremely comfortable. Lovely little extra touches in the room for you to enjoy.The staff were supper helpful, housekeeping top notch. couldn't fault the place we will be back.

Review 13：Everything was perfect, but in particular I liked that the toilet is separate to the bathroom. The room is spacious, and there is a balcony. Oh, and the staff are outstanding, (especially Kyal!)

Review 23：Stayed for two nights mid week in June. Room was large with a good kitchenette and leather sofa, plus working desk and large luxurious bed. The size of the room had the effect of us not wanting to leave it! Complimentary amenities were classy. A very comfortable stay. Some quirky touches like the zebra chairs outside of the room.

Review 33：We like this hotel a lot but.....The king Henry suites are advertised as having 'beautiful views of the Tasman sea'. This is a complete overstatement and left us very disappointed not to have a sea view. We only got a glimpse of the sea. Management should not be over exaggerating what the customer will receive. It's leads to disappointment. We would have been a lot more happier with the room had it not been advertised as a sea view, and not having a sea view.

Review 34：The construction noise from the building next door was awful. Such lovely bathrooms but finished off with an awful shower head. A rain shower head would transform the bathroom.

Review 38：On arrival we received a very warm welcome from Anka and Daniel. Our room was very large and comfortable. New. The hotel is in the center of the city. Has its own parking. There is no breakfast and no restaurant in the hotel. If you want you can have a breakfast at the coffee shop opposite the hotel. They serves good food and coffee for a reasonable price. Special thanks to Daniel for pointing to us some excellent viewpoint in the vicinity, especially the Lake Mangamahoe viewpoint of mount Teranaki.
