Review 1：Room not as described, write up says vies of Whitsundays and surrounding bush, reality was lots of bush, the backs of other buildings and no views of the sea at all. Standard of catering on the island is disappointing v's the rest of Oz and very over-priced. Use your balcony to BBQ and order from Fishi for best results.

Review 3：The fire alarm went off at 2.30am (faulty alarm) and woke everyone up.Phoned the out of hours office number and just got told to take thebatteries out. Told them wasn't really happy about that in casethere was a fire. They mentioned someone would be around at 10am so oneof our party did not go to Whitehaven beach so as to be there to letthem in. They didn't arrive until 12.30pm so he lost half a day of a3 night trip. To componsate this I asked if we could have a slightlylater checkout the following day but they said they were unable to dothis. As we were only there for 3 nights to not sleep for most of one ofthose evenings completely spoiled our trip. Love Hamilton Island, hateHamilton Island Holiday Homes. Use someone else for your accommodation.

Review 5：The staff were exceptional and so helpful, especially with additional bookings, directions and what to do. We stayed for four days and it was a very relaxing trip - no hiccups or issues. The facilities were well maintained and faced towards the most beautiful ocean view, there were no complaints from anyone for the whole week!

Review 18：clean & comfortable apartment, beautiful balcony views, close to beach and pools. Very good self-catering facilities with nice kitchen with everything we needed, the bbq on the balcony was used daily also. Buggy included, made life easy to get to marina area for shopping etc.
Review 19：The balcony got almost no sun. The neighbours pulled out a kitchen during our stay- VERY noisy. Neighbours attached also had a party one night; consequently we had a very poor sleep.

Review 23：Poor wifi around the island - bad connection in the Hibiscus lodges Dirty furniture in the Hibiscus lodges - filthy, smelly and had cockroaches! Fridge was extremely noisy and pots and pans were old, worn down. Lots of dog poo outside, it would be good to have this cleaned.

Review 27：I have chosen the more expensive apartment hoping for a view of the ocean as it was showed in the pictures and asked for it, but there isn't any as it is an apartment at the ground floor. If they put us in the top floor of this two stories apartment complex, I believe my request can be met. And the facilities in the kitchen and bathroom are quite old. An upgrade might be nice.

Review 29：No view. We were allocated to stay at Sunset Warer. Accomodation is outdated. Single bed is very narrow. Scale was formed on Bathtab Screen. In booking.com, it says the room has ensuit but there was not.

Review 32：Having a buggy included was awesome, we also took advantage of the free non motorized water sports and went paddle boarding, snorkelling and took out sea kayaks and a catamaran. We ordered food online so just cooked bbq's on the balcony overlooking the beach. Use of a close pool was also great.
Review 33：Carpet, stained and requires replacing. Bathroom- mould evident and not clean. Kitchen very basic, not great for a family who like to cook. Walls in the apartment were marked and dirty. Outside space, netting not very appealing. Overall not a place to spend much time except for sleeping. we also rented another apartment in the same block and it was of a similar poor standard.

Review 35：Internet is a problem for us as we all need to check our emails and stuff which is not easy. Can only do it in two areas is not very comfortable. But the rest of the stay is perfect.
Review 36：Nice place and beautiful area. The buggy we got is free from our booking and it is really useful tool driving around the island to everywhere. We also had an hour extension for the buggy after we check out prior to our flight.

Sadly we had to have an apartment with walk in shower, so with pouring rain, no view, trees and bush all around us just what we had left at home, our stay was fairly boring.

Review 73：The accommodation that we refused to accept. Sunset Waters is old staff accommodation, far from what is expected from the images on the site. The standard accommodation was sub-standard, if I had seen the actual images of accommodation would not have considered Hamilton Island Holiday Homes very disappointed.

Review 77：10 days and we didt get house keeping not even fresh bath towels and we paid $3200 not happy but what can you do. Whn we asked for fresh towels the respond was there is a washing machine but no washing powder.

Review 79：The sofas in the apartment were really dirty & worn out. The management eventually came & looked & then did absolutely nothing! They didn't even return my numerous calls.
Review 80：We couldn't switch on the stove in the kitchen as the lighter was broken. There were no back up matches in the kitchen. Luckily our neighbour offered help with their matches. There is no instruction or guidelines in the kitchen for the facility inside house at all. We found it's hard to find our way around the house. We didn't want use the BbQ in the end. The fire alarm is super sensitive! We were doing a stir fry dish, everything were under the control, the fire alarm screaming like a hell for nothing, there is not even a smoke or nothing burning. It happened over and over again. It'll be good if this get checked. The other thing we want to mention is the golf buggy we were provided was broken down 2 days in a row! It is not impressed at all, specially it's our first time visiting.
Review 81：The place was dirty. Had lots of little ants in the kitchen area, lots of coickroaches and the couch and i accidently fell asleep on had bed bugs! I woke up with huge bites on my back. The couches could do with a good steam clean! Also the dvd player wasnt working but Jonathon (the staff person who assisted us) was wonderful and brough up a new one for us. Some spare bed linen in the place would be great as we needed more towels and sheets.

The kitchen was dated and we did have several cockroaches in both the bedrooms and kitchen area during our stay along with ants in the kitchen area. This despite us not keeping any foodstuffs in the apartment other than teabags and milk. The patio furniture is also very old.
Review 84：The island itself was idyllic and using golf buggies rather than cars certainly helped the overall feeling of peace and quiet. Our apartment was near Catseye beach so the resort complex was close at hand.

I informed thehotel about our anniversary in advance; they replied there would be somespecial arrangement for us. But I didn’t find it.

Very, very outdated decor in Hibiscus 102. for this reason I would choose not to stay in the apartment again as other more modern apartments can be obtained for the same price.2. apartment did not have a cofffee plunger. we phoned the office and requested one but we did not receive it. instead we had to buy one ourselves at cost of $29 from the local store. A coffee plunger (or machine) is essential for all holiday rentals.
