Review 12：The rooms were very expensive and the beach was closed to the public (not Hard Rock's fault). We booked the Rock Royalty suite but the hotel emailed us to say it was a smoking room so we changed it to the studio suite for almost £200/night, the 'suite' was not much better than a premier inn with a nice bathroom! The hotel is also a little bit away from the main area of Batu Feringghi..a good walk or short cab ride away.

Review 13：Good food choice, clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a small problem but the on duty manager was absolutely brilliant. She bent over backwards to help us and to get everything resolved. We really cannot thank her enough she absolutely made our honeymoon.

Review 14：The check-in experience was not up to the mark of a hotel of this standing. At 2.50 p.m., my room was still not ready and the excuse was "our check-in time is 3.00p.m.". I was asked to take a smoking room which I refused. Had to wait another 20 minutes and even then, no priority was given to me. More waiting at the counter.

Another thing which really made us pissed off was the airport trxfer service!! I have told them that we hv 9 person and 4 small luggages and asked for one 9 seater van and they insisted us to have 1 ban and a car to pick us but in the end the seats were really empty and can be occupied with another 4 to 5 persons!! The next day we booked again for our tour ride and this round they agreed wit us to hv only one van. We chartered for 6 hours and paid for rm636 to asked to bring us to tourist attraction but thenthe driver kept on saying far. Then wats the purpose of having the service? Service was very bad!!

Review 40：We love everything there..except for the in room dining and also restaurant dining was quite disappointed as the food were all bad. I don't understand why was the food like that coz when we eat for breakfast buffet their food were all perfect!! Pls let them know about this and put into consideration for better change. We will be going there again next december and really hope that they hv make the changes if not i don't think we will return again for future to come. We played the jet ski, the donut five and also the para gliding....thank you

Review 41：1. Well there are too many children running around on weekends. Hundreds of them. I'd suggest weekdays if you're planning a quiet and romantic stay with your other half.

As a hotel guest, I don't think i should park at the back of the hotel(dark alley) which is not a proper car park and walk quite a distance back to the main entrance of the hotel. I stay at the lagoon deluxe room. It is quite noisy during the daytime when children are playing at the swimming pool. Not much facilities.

Review 47：I have stayed in HRH Pattaya last year and HR Penang is rather a disappointment. HRH Penang is fairly old and the amenities doesn't live up to a 5 stars hotel. The activities in the hotel is also limited. The spread of the Bfast selection is not up to expectation too.

Review 52：I asked for earlier check in because we arrived early in Penang. I was travelling with a 2yo toddler and it was his nap time that I requested to check in around 1-2pm. In addition, our second room was not ready when we checked in to our first room. Even though we have to wait for our rooms to be ready, we were given complimentary meals at Starz. The housekeeping team was late in cleaning our rooms, only after 4pm they managed to tidy everything.

Review 73：Too crowded. the beach is under renovation, everybody is at the pool and the lobby area, there is not much entertainment. Even taking bus rapid penang 101 to Georgetown is far and long with the traffic jams. Requested for late check out and was told 12.30pm when I told him that my flight is at 9pm. I guess late check out of 30minutes did not make a difference. I don't think I will return.

But later when we arrive at the hotel with a shuttle bus, we saw that there are more parking like 3-4 empty parking which your security have said it was full & the full sign is still there.

What if we have 3 small kids and they need extra supervision coz maybe hotel staff is busy handling other kids too.hotel management should allow 1 adult for 1 kid so if family have more than 1 kid 2 adults can stay in there too.And the Malay girl staff there is quite rude when we ask about it with the face expression that we dont like.

Review 101：Terrible location, in the middle of the large city, huge air pollution - visibility 100m, choking, dirty beach and full of stalkers trying to get you to take different rides. Clear hypocrisy: halal food everywhere (for example salami pizza wasn't with real salami but some fake disgusting beef (?) salami, yet alcohol is promoted all across the hotel area. Place mostly visited by locals with low expectations. Not worth to stay there.

The food we ordered from the Pizzeria, the poolside and the Hard Rock Cafe was delicious with generous serving. We enjoyed the amenities such as the gym, the water slides and pool. The room we had was spacious and had a fantastic sea view.

Review 130：Hated having a Bath/shower, and a shower curtain that would't stay away from me. Could not get around the pool without being on sand that was curse and painful on your feet. Sand and water was always walked through the Lobby.
