Reviews for Kajikaso Royal Hotel

Review 1:1. Aged hotel need some renovation.

Review 2:1. Good location with river view and next to onsen street. 2. Good facilities with games and table tennis. 3. Value for money big room

Review 3:While I understand the idea of serving fresh ingredients, I don't think a hotel restaurant should turn away a customer. A big hotel such as this should plan with some margin for last minute guests that want to have dinner at the hotel, specially when the restaurants in the area are already closed.

Review 4:Nice location, by the river 2 indoor onsen and 1 outdoor, just by the river Free shuttle to the Kagaonsen JR station

Review 5:The breakfast was very Japanese. There weren't many choices for westerners but we enjoy Japanese breakfast.

Review 6:It was a perfect location. I like their onsen and a walk around the hotel after breakfast. I would like to stay here again if I visit this area.

Review 7:Hotel has been very beautiful, very tired looking now, bedroom carpets very stained. Hotel does not cater for westerners at all, no english language or food.

Review 8:Location was good.

Review 9:On arrival, the manager came to fetch us from the train station himself. The room is spacious with a great view of the river. The onsen is pretty good! A truly enjoyable stay!

Review 10:- reception tried to invoice more than the price was - requested room on upper floor but got one on the ground floor - no view

Review 11:- location by the river - onsen with indoor and outdoor pools and sauna - reasonably priced room - private dinner room - free shuttle bus from and to kaga-onsen JR station

Review 12:Nil

Review 13:Japanese room, onsen experience and having Japanese dinner at Yamanaka Kajikaso Hotel. Having tea-time along walking paths at Kakusei Gorge and view of Ayotori bridge.

Review 14:The lady at the onsen is a bit loud. I forgot the towel in my room and asked if she has a spare towel (which provided by some hotels). I think she just tell me normally that I have to bring the towel from my room, but the tone of her voice startled me.

Review 15:- Ideal place for relaxation. - Very close to a famous public bath. - Housekeeper grannies did their job very quickly and nicely to let us back into the room. - The hotel restaurant is affordable.

Review 16:Ntg , given the price we paid.

Review 17:It's a gem. Great location with it a stone throw from kakusenkei gorge/river . We enjoyed a lovely walk by the river . The onsen is good with respect to indoor and outdoor bath. Ample bath stalls and vanity area . Nice touches such as choice of hot /cold water/tea after onsen . Theres a small shopping street is just a couple minutes walk away . We had meal plan but think the restaurant is open to walk in customers . For table tennis fans , there's two tables for rental , great for burning off some calories before your kaiseiki dinner . Got a great price maybe cos it's winter . Wud luv to spend more time there in better weather

Review 18:Nice staff, Ibsen and room has view of river

Review 19:great ... everything was perfect

Review 20:Breakfast is very exprnsive!!!

Review 21:-near the village, wich is so cute and beautiful -stores, games inside the hotel was really fun.

Review 22:The place is a very nice place to relax and comfortable.

Review 23:restaurant in the hotel is too expensive.
