Review 1：Bathroom smelled like fish? But propably not in every room. We had to stay in kaga because we were to late for the Hotels in Kanazawa. The City seems to have no sights.

Review 3：The small double bed room is way TOO small for 2 people. It's impossible to fit 2 big luggages inside!! So perhaps they shouldn't recommend that room for 2 people.
Review 4：This hotel has an exclusively air-con or heater system which may be a problem on unexpectedly hot or cold days. Weather is getting unpredictable these days. In our case, it was unbearably hot in October, and nothing could be done to the system as they had set it to the heater mode for the whole hotel. The windows could only be opened 2 inches, so that added to the greenhouse effect. The helpful staff brought us a fan which was only available when the onsen was closed, so kudos to them.

Review 14：An opportunity to visit and experience a Japanese smaller town. The shops, homes and the people. Hotel next to the railway station after a long trip from Matsumoto via Tokyo. Great train journey. The staff here, despite having no English, were great and a lot of fun. So impressed with JR rail and their assistance at all times. The JR rail pass was so easy to use. Only recommended if you want to experience a Japanese town without tourists!
