Review 1：The territory of the hotel is small,the pool is also not very big, i think good only for kids. But taking into account all advantages of the hotel the a/m is not important at all))

Review 2：After spending 8 days in Mauritius,i must say that Pereybere Hotel & Apartments is one of the best places on the island where you can stay for a good price and to receive a good service and unforgettable memories. First of all it is situated in the North, where the climate is very pleasant (we stayed in January and it was windy and rainy in the South, while in Pereybere the weather was perfect all the time) Must mark the hotel's location,it is 2 min from the ocean, you just pass the road and you are on the beach! So we went to the beach 2 or even 3 times a day and can admire wonderful sunsets in the evening! In the hotel you can find a little pool which can be interesing for your kids,The hotel also has a restaurant where you can eat or drink a delicious fresh juice!(besides there are many restaurants along the road and near the beach outside the hotel) Special thanks i want to say to Sameer, who helped us from our arrival till the departure. He works in "Cote d'azur tours" which is situtaed just in the hotel( he can help you to choose and organize any excursion, to answer all questions, to arrange transfer from/to the airport etc) He even prolonged our holidays, cause usually check-out time is 12:00 ( but we had the flight on 20:30) so Sameer did his best and let us stay till 17:00 in the room! Reg the room. We lived in Two-Bedroom Bungalow( it was rather big with a balcony,every bedroom with own bathroom) Cleaning was every day.The staff of the hotel is very friendly and keep on smiling all the time, which makes the atmosphere of the hotel is wonderful! So if i have an opportunity to return one day - i will definitely choose Pereybere hotel again!

Review 5：Perybere itself was very busy, especially due to the New Year holidays, and the beach was so busy, we had to go elsewhere for some space. After we had been on the quiet east coast, this was not so good for us.

Review 6：helpful staff. good size room. The small pool is in a courtyard and in shade most of the time, but this is good when it is so hot elsewhere. easy to get local buses to sights.

Review 7：The breakfast is basic and repetetive - coffee weak, choice of omelettes limited to two only, not fresh fruit juice, no bacon, breakfast manager and staff felt that they were doing you a great favour by serving you - breakfast at Cote d'Azure does NOT enhance this hotel - suggestion to hotel : change breakfast venue for hotel !!

Review 11：The breakfast arrangements are a bit fussy and irritating; breakfast is served in an adjoining restaurant, and you have to make your selections on a form the night before (you discover this arrangement by trial and error). and you are limited to selecting from 2 of 3 sections. Servings are ample, but the variety gets boring after a few days. One wishes they could just have a simple buffet like most hotels.

Review 12：The hotel was opposite the beach, and had a variety of restaurants within a 2 minute radius. Our room had a balcony with a sea view. A bus stop is close by if you wish to go to Grand Baie or Cap Malheureux, both around 10 minutes away. A well-stocked, spacious supermarket is just 3-4 minutes away up the road. Being able to swim any time of the day (in the sea or hotel pool) was the cherry on the top.

Review 13：Booking.com should make themselves more familiar with what they advertise. My booking said I would have a view, but on reaching the destination 'the view' was looking into the reception office and a pool at the back of the hotel....not even in a garden atmosphere which could have been more tolerable. This is the second time Booking.com has let me down...which is disappointing.....

Review 14：The helpfulness of the Reception staff who were amazing...in particular 'Farad' and Japha were the two people who managed to turn a bad situation into a good one. However extra expense was caused to myself as I no longer had the convenience of self catering. The location was perfect in that you only had to walk cross the road and you were at the beach.

Review 15：Only bemol is the pool, who is under the shade all day and thus freezing cold, but no big deal seeing the sea is just nearby ;)

Review 17：Everything was great I'd only suggest adding a clothes drier, just to put out clothes. There were extra chairs on the balcony so we left them there but would be more convenient to have the drier.

Review 18：Loved the location, the hotel is just outside a public beach. Great service, the room was facing the ocean with lots of people walking around and having food and drinks, on the other hand when you closed the balcony it was absolutely quiet so you could enjoy a good night sleep. You feel as if you are in the centre of the island. Would recommend it to everyone.

Would highly recommend and go back any time. Hotel is just opposite public beach, close to supermarket, transport, lots of restaurants including one attached to the hotel. Has all facilities if you like to prepare your own meals. Thank to all wonderful staff members for making our stay pleasent.

Review 32：I spend my 60th birthday at the hotel and the staff ensure that it was an excellent birthday. They are all so friendly and helpful. The hotel is opposite the main beach a definate plus point. It is very close to the bus stop and the busses are cheap and a good way to travel. A excellent travel agency and good restaurant are available at the hotel for your convenience. Supermarket walking distance I will recommend the hotel to anybody specifically the 2 bedroom apartments.

Review 33：On the surface it doesn't look like anything you would like to stay at. But the location is among the best in all Pereybere the staff is superb. Rooms are very clean with a super-nice restaurant and a real sweetheart who is running it. All things taking to a count I would recommend everyone to go there and I will definitely come back. We ended up buying flowers to them :).

Lovely location, just across the road for Pereybere Public Beach witch indeed is very nice :-) We had a suite with complete kitchen, washing machine, 2 baths, and a lot of room. It's not a 5-starhotel, and it doesn't pretend to be on either, but we really liked it, good value for your money, and we would like to come back. It would be nice with a buffét for breakfast, but the breakfast we had was wonderful and the service top :-)

Review 36：The hotel is very good situated, just across the public beach. The room is big and clean, the staff is very attentive and polite, helping with anything you need. They even let us have late check-out without charges. Sameer, the tour agency owner is also very nice and offers competitive prices for all the tours. The breakfast was very nice and the lady was extremely friendly and polite. Lots of thanks to all the staff who made our stay great!

Review 38：Not with the hotel but the fact that houses have been allowed to build to the high water mark. I was ordered of the beach twice by property owners, at high tide you must stand up with all your beach gear and wait till the tide goes out.Good for tourism??, I don't think so.

Review 43：Never been to Mauritius before and a friend recommended the Pereybere Beach Hotel and Apartments woth I was impressed with my 18 day stay during the Christmas 2014 holiday stay. I had a one bedroom apartment with a nice kitchen and washing machine that made thing easy. The sops, cafes, beach, ATMs and the bus line were all close by. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I had some fun day trips that I booked thru the hotel tour office. The island and people are amazing.

Review 46：This is fairly and truly the biggest scam I have ever fell for. Expecting to see something similar to the pics on the site, I arrived to the hotel only to be surprised that it is only a building with appts in it, staff were not professional looked like a bunch of school boys, then one of them took us to the room, he looked very unclean with a dirty pony tail and no uniform. He showed us the room, which was functioning, and then told us that there is a surprise gift, which was a pack of biscuits!!! then told us the mini bar was for free bbut forgot to tell us that it is EMPTY. The bed was a nightmare, not leveled, it kept making noise everytime we move on it the slightest move not to mention big moves. And I ended with a strained back and slept a night on the hard floor with a lot of pain killers. Now all of this was something and the smell coming from the restaurants down stairs who blow right into the room was a different stroy, one that made sitting in the balcony a big adventure. The view is totally blocked by trees, you can hardly see the ocean across the street, and not to mention that the street is one busy street with a lot of hooting and exhaust smell. Really horrible, though Mauritius is a beautiful country, but this place is from hell.

Review 47：The place is situated in the heart of one of the busiest areas, across the street is a "public" easy to access beach. If you are looking for a privacy and relaxation, this is not the beach to b at as it is super busy with locals more than tourists

Review 48：We stayed in the chalet's at the rear of the property, booking out both 2nd floor dbl rooms. Food left out over night will likely get ants - bit of extra protein, the beds are a bit short so anyone over 6ft might get a bit irritated with the wooden frame of the base interfering with your feet. No official Braai / BBQ area (although the staff came to the party and made a plan for us)

Review 49：Generally it is a great place to go for a vacation. You have restaurants located within 5mins walk. For self catering there is a large well supplier store called winners within walking distance. The beach is across the road is good and if you need something a bit more quiet you can just walk along the beach for a more secluded environment. For a more touristy / built up experience an 18 rupee bus ride to Grand Bay is just outside the hotel and there is access to a shopping center from there as well as various other restaurants etc. The staff at the hotel are fantastic and go out their way to give you as much of what you want how you want it. We spent most of our time at the beach but they have a swimming pool, jaccuzzi and steam room which we never used.

Review 50：Great location opposite the beach. There are a lot of restaurants & cafe just outside the hotel. Short taxi ride to grand baie. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. There is a currency exchange that offers good rates next to the hotel.

Review 51：We were upgraded to an apartment for 2 nights for free which was fab, , couldn't upgrade all week as the whole hotel was fully booked.there was drinks on arrival, beautiful towel shape of bird on bed, right opposite perebere beach, great beach for families, better then grand bay, bus stop outside takes you to port Louis, service was fab, staff brilliant, sameer excursions guy was so helpful as well. If you go to grand bay harbour then look out for bearded guy selling biryani from boot of his car, best biryani for 2 pounds, he is near all food stalls.recommed hotel pick up, good price, overall very good value for money

The staff is very friendly, offers a variety of tours around the island. Loved the tour to the south of the island - for little money, you can see all the sights of the south of the island in one day, very convenient.

Review 53：The hotel room was spacious, air-conditioned and very good standard, clean, quiet and well decorated rooms, which will make your holiday perfect. There were also many facilities you could need too, with restaurants, tour office and even a bureau de change right next door. A great supermarket was just along the road as well. Location is great, next to one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Breakfast was good! The wifi is working perfectly. "If you stay here ,you can enjoy a lol".

Review 54：Staff were amazing - they could not have done more for us. The location is brilliant, the beach is right accross the road and not crowded with boats like Grand Baie. Our excursion to the South with a driver who was so very friendly and knowledgeable - the restaurant staff were amazing - the manageress was so friendly and gave us tips on things to do and see! Such a personal touch for our anniversary dinner it was AMAZING!! It is by no means a five star hotel but the service we received from the staff was priceless, and was certainly beyond 5 star!! Our room was so clean, and comfortable - we had all we needed and the personal touch just made it so very memorable!

Review 95：I liked everything about this hotel. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff; each and every one of them was friendly and helpful. We were not comfortable on the first night stay over there as the mattress in the room was very uncomfortable for sleeping. When we complained about it, the hotel staff immediately made arrangements to change the room for us. The hotel is located across the road from the beach which is ideal and there is a tour office in the hotel to help organize any excursions you may be interested in. Mr.Sameer who was managing the Tour office was really helpful to plan our excursions. It is located in a small quiet little village, very local and that's what makes it even more charming. Taxi Stand was opposite to the hotel and the Bus stop and a Super market were just a walking distance from the hotel. We were staying in a room facing the roadside, where you can have more brightness compared to the other rooms. Overall it’s a wonderful experience staying in the hotel.

They provide breakfast with their booking which is an excellent feast that will fill you for the day! Everyone here was very helpful and always friendly to us. The location is excellent you are in walking distance to Grand Bay and many other good areas. The bus stop is right outside and this is a great way of transport for the whole north of the island!

Review 110：Excellent service orientation, very much customer focused, very flexible. The staff is just superb (esp. Ramjit, Kesaven and Daweena). Breakfast was good, I had pretty good internet. All facilities are in good shape, location is an excellent starting point for all kinds of tours.

Review 111：In regard of the quite low room rates not really something to complain. In the early morning the traffic on the street gets a bit loud. This might be a little disturbing in rooms towards the street, but if you close the window (noise absorbing) it´s much better. Or you´ll have to take a room towards the inner courtyard. Especially on the weekends it´s a bit busy at the beach. A lot of families with their children and locals with their mates come here to enjoy beach life. But that is not really disturbing. For those of you who expect nightlife and party, Pereybere is not that kind of destination. The few restaurants and bars are open every night, but close quite early. After a day at the beach until sunset or an island tour, you sometimes have to hurry to get a shower and go to a restaurant before they slowly finish work.

Review 112：Hotel staff is extraordinary friendly! No luxury resort staff could be friendlier and more helpful than the people of Pereybere Hotel & Apartments. Good location, Pereybere is a quiet and nice village with some tasty and cheap restaurants just a couple of meters outside the door. Pereybere beach is fantastic, clear water and clean sand. The beach is just opposite to the Hotel across the street. A supermarket is a 5 min walk away. Grand Baie is just a short drive by bus or taxi, where you will find many shopping possibilities and more bars and restaurants. Hotel rooms are ok and well equipped and room service cleans up every day and serves fresh towels. Don´t expect luxury, but it´s comfortable and convenient and value for the money. You get what you pay for.

The Internet was fair but the TV channels were disappointing as there was no english news. It is far from the airport but the location is good with all facilitates near by including the beach and supermarket and bakery. a good travel agent was helpful in arranging tours around the island with polite drivers. It was a pleasure to come in the evening to a well cleaned apartment thanks to good housekeeping staff. .

We spent a splendid time at this 3-star small budget hotel- real value for money hotel.WHY PAY MORE HIGHER AND EXPENSIVE in a five star hotel when you are guaranteed the best beach of Mauritius almost at the doorstep and million dollar view just in front (although some casuarina trees on the beach add typical natural effects to some sea views),a clean and refreshing room, free wifi, a formidable team of hotel staffs and non-staffs. Excellent and delicious food served in hotel restaurant managed by Erny. And at last but not the least our tour organizer, Sameer.......the legend. There is no reason why we should not return back.
