Review 1：No detergent was provided nor were there any tissues. Very hot in the evening, even when cool outside - needs some ventilation.

Review 3：The rooms are spacious, clean and new. The motel is the perfect distance from the cbd escaping the noise but a pleasant stroll through the gardens and your in the heart of it all. The courtyard had a beautiful view of the gondola and restaurant. Dianne and Peter were wonderful hosts, having great local knowledge. Great amenities also (washing,etc.) Incredibly good value.
Review 4：I am not sure if the Manager is the owner but he did not smile at all. I made my booking 5 months before Christmas and for a motel that had my money 5 months in advance the manager almost looked annoyed that we arrived. Not a greeting not a smile no simple conversation nothing. We stayed for 4 days and received milk only on the first day just because we had a bottle of our own milk.

Review 18：Beautifully clean and quite spacious. We liked the little outside area where could sit in the sun and relax for a little bit. Towels and shower were good. About a 10 minute downhill walk into town. The laundry was clean and powder was easily available.
Review 19：Forgot to ask the manager (dad) for some milk and it was after reception hours. Was about 8/9pm and he didn't seem very pleased which kind of put me off a little. Just a minor thing. The other thing was that they did housekeeping service however they didn't wash our cups / bowls which I was a bit surprised about as other hotels include that as part of their housekeeping.
Review 20：Town is walking distance but I wouldn't say it is right in the middle of town. Family business and the daughter was lovely. Big and comfortable room. Free parking. The daughter spent a very long time explaining to us about every single restaurant she would recommend and not recommend in the area and there was a story behind each recommendation, which was helpful but (and this is not really a criticism) maybe not needed for us as we were so exhausted from driving and just didn't need a 10-15 min talk on where is best to eat. We just felt bad trying to stop her flow!

Review 40：We arrived at the apartments around 11 am and were already aware of the 2 pm check in time. However, upon stating our names were rudely told that we would have to come back at 2 pm. All we wanted to do was leave our luggage in the 'secure room' stated on the website. This room was actually just the entranceway to the office which was unlocked between 8am and 8pm and open to anyone off the street.When I asked if it was secure the woman behind the desk snidely remarked that in 20 years she's never had a problem and that if we didn't like it we could take our luggage with us.The next day we came back from a tour around 1.30pm to find that the room had not been cleaned, so I went to the office to ask if it was possible to have the bathroom cleaned and room vacuumed. This time I spoke with the husband and he scoffed and told me no. He let me know that although the apartments are fully serviced if a guest would like their room cleaned they have to notify the office either at 8 am that morning or at 1pm when the cleaner is on site, which was not stated on their website or stated to us on arrival or check in. Additionally, he remarked that he would send either his wife or daughter to clean later that day just for me as a favor, as though expecting a cleaned room was absurd and offensive to him. Of course I didn't expect his family to come clean our room and this upset me.The rooms heater was pathetic. We had it on high (which is apparently level 3 rather than 5) and the room never got warm enough to take our coats off over the 2 nights we were there. When we enquired about this on the first night we were told that the heaters don't work when people are showering or if a lot of people are using them, whice defeats the purpose of having them really.Overall we found the management extremely rude and it was upsetting to be spokenjoyed to so rudely and treated unprofessionally.

Explained the room layout and told us where everything was, gave us directions down town and were very generous towards us. Dianne's passion toward the business made us so glad we spent money at this motel! Great value.

Review 54：Dianne is super helpful and nothing is too much trouble for her. Our room was IMMACULATELY clean, great shower, comfy bed, little kitchen with some fresh milk provided for a cup of tea. Location is a 5 min walk from town (maybe a bit longer if you're not used to walking on hills!) and has super view over the lake (not from our room, but you just have to stick your head out the door and it's right there.) Wifi is fast enough, but Dianne is a mine of info for local knowledge - just google her instead.

The bathroom was excellent, with bath as well as shower, and plenty of hot water. We had a very warm and helpful welcome from Vanessa, and continuing helpful advice when needed from the owners during our stay. All in all, extremely good value for money!

Cigarette butts not removed outside No privacy outside, no one in unit next door, but we don't like sharing if there was. Lack of utensils in Kitchen, eg bread knife, try cutting with a vegetable knife. Bed not made by cleaning staff - the only motel we have stayed at that didn't do this. Shower slippery, there should be a rail or mat already supplied, shouldn't need to ask for one.
