Hotel Capolago sells fast on our site. Located 2 miles from Lake Varese and surrounded by a 376737 ft² park, Hotel Capolago features a design atmosphere and personalized service. The elegant rooms come with free Wi-Fi, and a plasma-screen TV with free Sky Sports satellite channels channels.
The Capolago provides free parking, and is just 2 miles from the highway connections, close to the Swiss border, and to Malpensa Airport. The new fair is only a 30-minute drive away. Review 1：The ventilation system in the room is a bit noisy. On the other hand, insulation is pretty good: we couldn't hear noise from the road outside neither from other rooms.

Review 5：The staff was very kind, spoke english, very helpfull and accommodating. Breakfast was perfect. Fresh bread, bacon, eggs, fresh fruit, 5 different types of croissants. nice location by the way. Very brightly, nice colours. The room was very clean. I would stay there again every time.

Review 15：Very kind staff, welcomed us and our dog with no problems. The hotel itself is situated outside the major city in the area, but it is so nice compared to some other ones that we would reccomend it without hesitation. Plan to stay there again!

Review 28：We were not able to arrive on the first night we booked due to no fault of our own, there was a strike in Italy so we were not able to fly into Milan as planned. We lost the money we had paid on the first night as the hotel claimed not to be able to do anything about it as it was out of their hands. We asked if we could be credited a one nights stay for a future stay.. But it seems that was not possible. We did contact the hotel in plenty of time about the delay.

Review 50：Expect to take 10-15 minutes to get into Varese, and do print a detailed local map. It's fairly close to the highway, but there is no giant sign; it's easy to miss. I do wish they'd install a gym. The separated parking slots behind the rooms, all at ground level, are convenient but a bit tacky.

Don't expect fancy, and don't be surprised at the lack of a few things you'd expect at a comparable American hotel (no gym). The trail around the lake is great; I ran about 10k of it. Plenty of food choices nearby even without going into Varese, and easy to get on the highway out of town. Breakfast was fine; I didn't try their cena menu.
