Review 1：There was nothing really negative, the food was marginal. It was better than I expected when I arrived

Review 3：This was a great stop on our way to the Okanagan from Camrose. The room was clean and comfortable and good value for our money. We didn't need any place fancy, but the "rain showerhead" in the king room was wonderful and unexpected.

Review 6：Older Hotel with some Character, nicely renovated, and comfortable beds. Quiet, even though you are close to the highway. Small restaraunt is clean, and has a good breakfast deal. Tims is across the road, if you want to grab and go.

Review 9：We had a king size bed that was the perfect firmness...Not too hard...Not too soft. The room smelled fresh and clean. We would definitely stay there again. This was our second time.
Review 10：Our second night a week later was slightly different. The room had a queen bed which felt like a double, the TV hutch had nixes and looked like someone had removed a front panel/door leaving the holes from the hinges and the lamp shade was damaged. The front lobby, restaurant and exterior need renovations.

Review 18：My daughter and I stayed there the 1st week of september and it was chilly enough to warrant heat. The heat never did go on though. We did inquire a couple times then gave up. Other than that it was a very good stay.

Review 32：Very nice, clean and modern..recently renovated so a plus. Amazing bed and awesome shower. I could have stayed in that bed all day and the shower I wish I had at home. Breakfast down stairs in the morning hit the spot. Fresh tomatos, perfect rye and perfectly done bacon and the coffee was surprisingly great
Review 33：Walls were paper-thin. Thankfully the other guests were quiet during the night, but someone opening their door into the hallway, or walking down the hallway, sounded like they were on loudspeaker.
Review 34：Easy to find. The room was very clean and comfortable. Our room faced the back of the property and so we had no noise from traffic or the parking lot.

Review 39：This motel was booked on line by my father with a confirmation #. When we checked in we were told that we could not have the room as we did not have the credit card that was used to book the room. It was 1.30 am. We did manage to get the room after much discussion. What is the point of using Booking.com? I bet they would have charged the credit card if we had not shown!

Review 41：Only two things: first, we were next to the cleaning room, and so the sound of washing machines bothered us in the morning. Second, on checking out, the receptionist was complaining to everyone on how she was being bothered by the house keeping staff who were calling her and "asking her stupid questions". Other than that, our stay was wonderful.

Review 52：The bed was super comfortable! I was nervous when I first walked in because the pub was quite noisey but when we got to our room (which wasn't that far away) I didn't hear a thing, it was very quiet! The price is great as well!

Review 66：The walls are paper thin so expect to share in the intimate details of your neighbours. The on site bar opens late and has karaoke and other events that draw in locals. More than once we were woken by very inconsiderate patrons leaving the bar. Two guys shared a very long and loud conversation right outside our window whilst their trucks engine was running. I would advise anyone with a more flexible budget than we had to choose somewhere in Jasper!
Review 67：Twin Pines is in a great location near to local amenities and under an hours drive to Jasper. The room was cheap and clean and faultless for our budget.
Review 68：The wifi (unprotected) was sporadic --- even though it showed full bars, would go in and out. Not a big deal, as we were only there one night. That is really the only negative I can think of.

The beds were very comfortable. The hotel receptionist (Christine, I think) was a delight --- engaging and personality plus. For a 2-star hotel it was a great deal.

Review 76：When I went in for checking there were four women sitting at the front counter. I said hoi and three of them got out of their chairs and walked away from me without a word. I guess they were restaurant staff on break. It was quite rude and no one apologized. Any time I walked in to the building past the front desk the staff had their heads down and did not greet me. Not only was this poor customer service, but it made me question the security of the place if staff did not look at who was coming and going.

The hotel is old but the staff were friendly and helpful, our room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Would recommend it and will stay here again for an overnight stop
