Review 1：We paid for an upgrade and the room was very ordinary and was in need of maintenance. Bottle tops on the TV bench .

Review 3：Only downside I can think of is the hotel is a bit dated, other than that it was a great stay.

Review 5：Couldn't get enough ice(someone forgot to turn on the machine) - Pretty Basic. Rooms are expensive for the age and lack of inclusions. No wine glasses, No Foxtel, Certainly lets the restaurant down.

Review 9：We paid extra for a Superior Queen room , only to find we had NO hot water . Tried it in the evening and again in the morning . Reported it to the Manager and all we got was a lot of abuse and name calling. Said because we were old we didn't know how to use a switch tap, ridiculous. Of course we asked for a refund, maybe that was what he didn't like .

Review 11：No staff member at reception on check out. Had pressed the button a couple of times for service, no one came. In the end left room key on the desk.

Review 12：Very comfortable room, close to Main Street, room was fresh and clean. Overall very happy with accommodation, will stay again.

Review 13：The décor is a bit dated. The carpet could have used a shampoo. The most annoying part was that the only place the jug could be filled for coffee was the shower, as the jug did not fit into the sink.

Review 17：The room smelled of B.O. and the back door screen door was propped on the wall outside. A lot of good it was there !! There was dried up tea or coffee spilled in the wardrobe.

Review 24：The staff were lovely very accommodating and helpful. Loved the locality and easy walking to restaurants and clubs. The Reef restaurant was outstanding though I think they should consider a phone ban in the restaurant. Phones on tables and people engaging in technology whilst attempting to enjoy a lovely meal was not nice. it seems no -one can go out with out their phone.Overall the food was awesome and the staff lovely.

Review 25：In all my travels in many countries, I have never encountered a ruder "welcome". We were ignored for 20 minutes, then shouted at. The facilities were fine, but we'll never ever go back there.

Review 26：Trying to get out of Clyde St, The traffic on the highway was shocking and no one would let you out. Very pricey for what you get, but every one takes advantage of the holiday's.

Review 108：The condition of the room was disgraceful not as advertised. Dirty carpets, dirty chairs, exhaust fan in bathroom dangerous - faulty, loose tiles on bathroom floor, damaged fixtures. Not worth the money paid.

Review 112：The room smelt very dusty - the curtains needed washing and the dust was apparent throughout the night. Fridge was much too small and filled with alcohol on arrival. We didn't need the bar at all so space was very limited for our few essential items. Pillows were very hard and uncomfortable. Booking sheet asked what payment would be made and I noted 'cash' but on checking out I was told that the credit card was used. Form did not state that I had asked for payment by cash.

Review 113：Staff were very co-operative and helpful. Very efficient on arrival. The closeness to the town centre and to the highway and the bay so we could walk everywhere. The bed was comfortable and the linen was clean and fresh. Great shower.

Review 114：Older manager disinterested and not welcoming on both days we saw him. Young male receptionist very nice. Smoke butts in dead pot plant outside room, can't fill kettle from under tap, advertised pool in their in room info but no such pool existed. Mostly the older male manager who couldn't even smile and converse with us was the thing that put us off right from the start.

Review 116：The only think that concerned me was the lack of car parks out due to having a two story complex most times we had to park out the front due to having so space in front of our room.

Review 120：We arrived at 9pm. No food available, even though there was a banner outside suggesting there was. Chairs in the suite but no table, the toilet did not flush properly, the ad showed high class showers but this suite had a shower in the bath (difficulty for older people to stand in), bolts sticking out of the wall in the bathroom, all in all not what it was assumed to be, based on the Website

Review 121：They had a UTE Convention on so the Motor Inn was packed with inconciderate people as they kept us awake both nights early hours of the mornings. Will not stay again.

Review 122：whilst booking I was not able to book the restaurant. On arrival restaurant was booked out. The main reason we has stayed at this place was it had a restaurant.

Review 124：The staff very extremely friendly and helpful we attended a wedding an hour away so were not back to late at night and we were told to take our time leaving in the morning if we were ready by checkout time it was fine would stay there again !

Review 125：it is now a very old Motel and it looks very drab could do with some renovations. When we checked in we were told that we could have room service for breakfast or go to the dining room. when we went to go to the dining room there was no one around and everything was locked. eventually the owner arrived and took us up to the dining room and it was apparent that the tables had not been cleared from the night before, there were dirty dishes and glasses on tables.

Review 126：Staff and owner were very friendly and helpful. I got 2 nites for double room with balcony on a bank holiday weekend for 360 which was very good and room was soo clean n spacious. Food was amazing. Nicest steak and souo ive had in a long time and a good big breakfast for only 20 dollars. And it was overlooking batemans bay. Town was very quiet but thats what we wanted. Very happy!
