Review 1：Customer service wasn't great. We were surprised room didn't have sink, toaster or microwave. Obviously getting what pay for but thought was standard in rooms

Review 3：We arrived in the bar at 7.00pm and picked up a brochure about happy hour and proceeded to discuss it then asked the barmaid for an order who proceeded to tell us it finished at 7.00!! politeness would have either dictated she would have mentioned it while she was listening to us as she was standing right there...it was only a smidge after...we know you can't make exceptions...but just seemed very odd

Review 8：price was on the high side even considering the timing (early January)! bathroom paintwork was becoming a little shabby (minor niggle but obvious when you saw it).

Review 9：location was close to town - an easy walk, room had a balcony and lake/mountain view, an older property but the room was spacious, bed was comfortable, two arm chairs were provided, room was in good repair, covered onsite parking, we didn't use the restaurant or bar so cant comment on those services.

Review 10：The kitchen was OK, but not the best for a family. It lacked a dishwasher and DVD player, and, while comfortable enough, the overall feel was a little dated. Later in the trip we stayed in another apartment in Queenstown which was definitely nicer, and was closer to town, and cheaper. So, while this apartment was certainly OK and a nice enough stay, it was probably overpriced for what it was.

Review 11：A roomy apartment, with multiple bathrooms and two balconies, both with a view of the lake. Staff were helpful and nice. Having a restaurant and bar area onsite was nice.

Review 12：Very limited free wifi and then very expensive access to wifi. No central computer with wifi at the lobby. Bad for such an hotel and when you travel with older kids. In general an old hotel which need an update. The photos are not exactly what it looks like today. Our toaster blew the fuses only advise was to use another plug, which did not work.

Review 14：Not didn't like but could be improved. 1. The wooden boards across the balconies impair the view considerably when sat down, A few rails would make the experiance much better. 2. The plant area on the balonies are in a very poor state of repair. a little more attention to these areas would make the outdoor areas fantastic instead of OK.

Review 16：The location wasn't great. We had already been in Queenstown for a few days and had our fill of the town fortunately but if you were there to do lots of activities and explore, then it wouldn't be such a great location - bit of a walk to town.

Review 17：The staff were great and let us check in early. Rooms were large with a good selection of T.V. channels. Beautiful view. Also there is a spa pool available for use which was lovely. We ate at the Hillary's Restaurant for dinner - it is a Thai food restaurant. Food was lovely and view again was beautiful.

Review 18：1. Extremely professional set up, very unlike NZ 2. Were not able to upgrade our room even when we were ready to pay for better room. 3. No Wi-Fi in room was a major lowlight. 4. No directions for guest parking without they telling specifically while checking in. you're virtually stranded at the entrance without clue if you go on your Car.

Review 20：Arrived and for some reason the original room allocated to us was only for two adults and not including teenage child. This was quickly changed and we were given a new room which had the two double beds in that I had booked for.

Review 21：Closest to town I could book for the four days prior to New Years (and this was done back in June). Lovely views of the lake and it was nice to have a balcony with tables and chairs as we were able to soak up the lovely weather .

Review 35：The two bed apartments are split level, with the bedrooms uptsairs, and a narrow steep staircase to lug your suitcase up- with no help. No washing machine in the unit/ or even on the floor- the only laundry was on the ground floor- with a payment charged for its use. This is really odd for an apartment hotel. Views of the lake restricted by the awful crossbar on the balcony that obscures your view. one has to stand up to get the "lake view" experience. Inadequate refilling of coffee/tea supplies- for four occupants- had to keep calling for this- and was promptly attended to. Internet slow despite incurring a charge..

Review 74：Comfortable walk to town centre even with a 6 year old in tow. We didn't hire a car for our stay so the location was handy. Took the bus to and from airport and bus stop both ways was about a 20 metre walk. Came in early around 11am to drop off our bags but were told our room was already ready. We really appreciated this. Staff were courteous and friendly. The room had everything we required for our 2 night stay. Bed was nice and comfortable.

Review 86：We explained to the receptionist (who didn't speak English very well)that we were paying cash for the room ( I had the money in my hand and was trying to give it to her),but she went ahead and charged it straight to the credit card anyway,which we had expressly asked her not to do. Also,although the room was very spacious,well decorated, and clean,there was a large patch of water damaged wall right beside the front windows that was very unsightly,with a huge strip of paint actually flapping away from the wall.The damaged patch also had mould patches forming all over it. It definitely needs immediate maintenance.

We were 5 people and we didnt have enough hot water for the 5 of us, just right after the first shower we had to wait until the boiler had completed warming up. It was very cold outside so showering with cold water was impossible. There should have been hot water all the time and not for a single shower.

Review 92：The hotel is very tired and needs a spruce up. Disappointed that we couldn't claim travel points through our frequent traveller programme because we booked the accommodation through the booking.com website. This was explained to us by the receptionist at the hotel.

Everywhere else including the youth hostel the wifi was free! Room wasn't serviced until after 3pm each day .... We were returning from outings then and wanted to rest in room. So the room wasn't serviced for the 3 days we were there.
