Review 1：Cost is low, but while there found neighbouring hotels to have better value (though did not check out their room facilities). Staff consists of one owner/manager and one other guy. Both seemed rather indifferent and I would often have to order a coffee more than twice before I got it.
Review 2：Location is good, though definitely neither in the hustle and bustle of full-moon, nor tranquility of paradise. It's somewhere in between so you can travel to either or. Room was clean and there was minimum noise.
Review 3：The lord who takes the order in the restaurant was always very serious and seemed that he was angry at us all the time. But everybody else is super friendly. You can pay for food with credit card only for values higher than 1000 THB, but owner let us pay for the whole amount at check-out so I could pay with credit card.
Review 4：The hotel is very beautiful and the room is comfortable. Every morning was so good to have breakfast with the beautiful sea view. The food in the restaurant is good and cheap, we had breakfast and dinner there almost every day and I recommend.

Review 6：My bungalow had a good sea view. We stay here 3 night for Full Moon Party. This place is nice quiet. Nice swimming pool. Owner and staff very friendly and helpful. Food and beer are cheap. Dogs are cute (Mommam, Nina, Pepsi and ....) Thank you K.Kitikorn and staff for take care us. If who like quiet location for relax after party. I'm recommend here.
Review 7：We went to a full moon party and they told us to leave our keys at reception for our own good. I had a fever so I came back around midnight and there was no one at reception, but 3 big dogs. They were barking and jumping on me and nobody came to help me with them. I am really scared of dogs, if someone have told me about them ,I would have stayed at the party with a fever.

Review 9：If you're going to Samui and Phangan for the first time you might not want to be there in Oct - November because it is the height of the rainy season.
Review 10：My bungalow had a good view over the pool and nice gardens to the lovely beach and on a clear day to Samui. It was very quiet when I arrived which was just what I wanted, although it's no doubt busier around Full moon and during the high season. A quick walk on the beach showed that other places had music playing and may be a bit livelier if that's what you want. I only ate breakfasts there but they were good (western and Thai) and not expensive. The room was made up daily without me having to ask and the staff were nice, friendly and helpful with a dodgy remote - they swapped TVs. Finally the boss gave us a free ride to the boat the day we left. All in all, I'd recommend Rung Arun and would definitely stay there again
Review 11：The sea is not deep and therefore not suitable for swimming, but you canexplore all the other beaches perfectly per motobike
Review 12：- Really helpful and friendly manager and staff- we could stay two more days without problems for the same conditions - they organized a motobike and the transfer back to Bangkok - good starting point for exploring the whole island per motobike - nice and quiet beach REALLY RECOMMENDABLE!
Review 13：Location, was nothing to do in the surroundings except for the beach. If you want to do something you have to take a taxi. You have to hold the shower when you take one, there was no possibility of hanging the shower above your head. There was also some noise during the day and evening from a beachclub further down the beach. No wifi connection in the room. I thought we had better places for this price (40 euros a night), we were here during fullmoon, so thats why probably.
Review 14：Swimmingpool and beach. If you want something quiet, go here. I don't agree with people saying you shouldn't go here if you want to see the fullmoonparty. We went there by taxi and went back by taxi as well for the same price as normal (is a 20 min drive). I liked the food and juices in the restaurant as well! Much cheaper than other places on the island and same quality!

So the conclusion if that if we hqd not booked by booking it'd had cost us 100 dollars less (for 2 nights) which seems very weird.

Review 31：Location; very close to the harbour, supermarkets and shops. The bungalow was in front of the beach with a great view. There is a restaurant on the beach next to the resort with very good food. The owners gave us free rides to several places we wanted to go. 8 km from FULLMOON party
Review 32：The owners were not very helpful and found to be rude. There were cats and dogs all over property which became very uncomfortable especially when sitting and scratching on chairs where you are supposed to eat any meals. The chlorine of the pool was so strong it was impossible to swim in for longer then 10minutes without it burning your skin. You could not even put your face under the water. There was also a catery where they kept cats on property behind the bungalows. Very very disappointed in the stay. I would not recommend. It was not relaxing. The beach was full of seaweed and rocks. The sand was very dirty. Terrible location. Again did not feel any of the owners where hospitible at all and not very nice.
Review 33：The size of the superior bungalow overlooking the pool was quite big. Not overcrowding.
Review 34：Not many facilities, you have a fridge but nothing to consume in it (only the 2 free waters), no phone in the room, no room service and is not possible to consume under your account. Cleaning was ok, since the towels didnt smell that good and the ladies do not wash the room's dishes.
Review 35：We got an upgrade so we stayed in the best room, by the sea, really nice (the bathroom could be better), it was a bit expensive but I believe it was due the fullmoon party. The room view is really great, and the massage even better!
Review 36：just for the note of management - housekeepers never gave us shampoos even we left tips. This not the case when we cannot afford to buy it on our own but our neighbours had it. So I just don't understand the reason for not giving.

Review 48：My bed was as hard as a concrete slab. Im not joking, i've travelled the world and i can honestly say that the 3 nights here were the most uncomfortable of my life. Even with a sun lounger mat laid on top of the bed (which u should never need to do) the nights sleep was terrible, terrible, terrible. The staff could not care a less.

Review 54：Our room was metres from the pool and the beach not much further away. Away from the hustle and noise of the main street. As back packers it was a little too secluded for us but taxis were 100 baht to get to full moon party and other places. Booked through booking.com secured our booking but we payed roughly 1800 baht above the rates, which is £36. We booked this way because that time of the month accomodation fills up quickly. We extended for an extra night, and as our room was already booked they simply moved the other booking to a different bungalow. Rooms were cleaned every day with clean towels and a bottle of water each in the fridge. No pressure from staff to buy from them. Wifi was poor in bungalow which is annoying when you need it to plan next location etc.. But all in all a lovely place, but more for holiday makers

Review 92：loved the staff, Mr and Mrs 'Owner' and the helpful bloke were all lovely. The setting was lovely, the correct number of loungers appearing on the beach in the shade every morning. We were upgraded as we were the only people there when we arrived. The food was very tasty and reasonable value, the pool was clean. Best of all to me though, having been travelling 10 months was the cats and dogs! I named 12 of the 22 cats, and 4 or 5 of them would come regularly for strokes. The dogs just 'guarded' you on the beach, but none of them bothered you if you didn't want it, and I never saw any dog or cat mess in the 5 days we were there!
Review 93：The owner, a women wasn't always very pleased to help us. Sometimes we got the vibe that she thought we were bothering her. (While asking for things like booking a tour f.e. she wasn't as helpful as we had hoped)

Review 95：The location of the Rung Arun is perfect. Absolutely beautiful. It's close enough to all of the parties if you want to get involved but also far enough away to get some peace and quiet. The owners are really friendly and helpful, great place.

We stayed 4 nights for the full moon in the basic room and it was fine nice and clean and comfy. The pool and surroundings are amazing when you are lying by the pool you feel like you are in paradise with the palm trees and amazing beach in the background. Been travelling 3 weeks and this was by far our favourite place we stayed.
Review 98：No do not disturb sign. Asked for our room not to be cleaned because our safe was broken and didn't trust the staff but they went and cleaned it anyway. Did not hold up to their cancelation policy we wanted to move after the first night. No breakfast included much cheeper and better places to stay.
