Review 1：It does say its 1.2km away from the full moon party which is not true, it is about a 10 min taxi ride away from Had Rin (main party place) which will cost you $100 Baht every time, but was nice to be staying out of the party zone for relaxation when you needed it. The beach you stay on is very dirty if your looking to relax on the beach all day you will need to drive about 30 minutes to get to a nice one. but we got mopeds and adventured around the best way to do it for sure!

Review 2：I loved it the people there! They were so friendly and waited on our hand and foot for anything! It was my birthday and they even got me a cake and the whole staff sung for me. Food was good, and the bartender made GREAT cocktailas. Bungalows were very cute and room serviced every day!

Review 4：I liked morning start really peacefully hotel. The beach is very secluded everything I wanted from thialand. I only stayed for 2 nights may have got if any longer as not a lot to do

Review 24：lovely little hotel with smaler and bigger bungalows. the pool is nice and percect for a little swim as the sea is difficult to swim (the water is leghigh for many meters). Staff is very friendly and up to some smal talk. Reccomend to rent a scooter as it is a bit fare to walk.

Special thanks to Lena!!! ) GO there if you are a party animal - all discos are near, if you can drive a bike a little, if you want to eat nice restaurant food (but it's not too cheap). DON'T GO there if you are a fan of sea and beach (Ban Thai is not for swimming), if you are afraid of bikes (all cafes and shops rather far), if you wanna find a calm and picturesque place

Review 26：Pool chairs had no pads.Beach not so nice. Way way way overpriced. Beds are brutal. Pillows worse. Mostly I just feel like I paid an outrageous amount for what the place is.

Review 28：Enjoyed our stay at morning star, staff are all very friendly and willing to help. Food is good! Rooms can be cleaned daily if you leave your key at reception. Rooms where clean and spacious, pool area and lobby where both social areas to talk to other travellers during peak season. Staff will order taxis for you to get into haad rin which takes about 10 mins.

Review 29：Bad pool, not clean at all looked algae-ridden and pool area deserted and dumpy. Went 3 years ago and it was new and beautiful, they really let it go. Lonely, no one was there, t.v only had Dutch, French, German and a Thai channel; no English channels

Review 31：Shallow water in the sea close to Morning Star! Not possible to swim, max. 50 cm. We were around the island with scooters and most nice beach was Haad Rin and Haad Thong Nai Pan Noi (Yai) and Haad Mae Haad.

Review 32：From 30th Jul to 7th Aug 2014 there was no guests except for us. Quiet location, good for families with access to the beach. Friendly staff and nice and clean bungalows. Small but nice swimming pool. Close to the best beach Haad Rin Nok! Close to the Thongsala night market with great food! Just rent a scooter and all places on the island you get within 15 minutes drive.

Review 46：It may be close to the black moon and half moon parties, but is definitely a poor location for a group of friends, quite secluded and quiet area of Phangan. Luckily Had Rin is only a 10min drive away where the beach is much nicer and there is much more going on.

Review 49：Probably if we had to like something it would be the location ONLY. Barman - The best of the worst That we got the motorbikes delivered to the hotel - But rude supplier.

Review 50：Staff were rude and lazy. Had to wait so long for anything to be done. The pool was completely murky they blamed the season! The rooms were never cleaned properly and we were never left any clean towels. Food was substandard and expensive for what you received. Will not be staying here again.

Review 54：Wifi only works in the reception and restaurant area. The location isnt great and you defo need to get a scooter to get about. Taxis on Koh Phangan can be quite expensive if theres only 2 of you and you need to get them all the time.
