Review 1：You could hear the lift going up and down in our room all night, apartments could do with a good paint and tidy-up, car parking is a bit of a hassle.

Review 14：Great value for money! The view of Brisbane river from the balcony is out of this world. Along with a pool, gym and spa, there is a sky deck, equipped with a pool table and TV where you can admire the view. Fantastic location - only a stones throw from the CBD shops and also the pier where you can jump on the free city hopper. A short walk just over the bridge to the Art Gallery and Science Museum and Brisbane wheel.

Review 16：Constant internet problems, had to go to foyer every time j wanted to use iPad. Parking needs to be looked at, driving around looking for a park then find here isn't any and have to park at a different location at 11:30 at night. Lifts very slow, inadequate for the number of floors and one wasn't working for a period of time which made for lots of upset people.

Review 22：The carpark smelt disgusting like walking through a garbage tip. The kitchen bench was dirty, the cushions on the bed had black spots on them and the lift service was a joke. The one night we stayed there both lifts were broken. When we arrived we waited an hr to get a lift up to our room. We won't be returning. all the shampoos and shower gels were only half full. The beds were as a hard as a rock. Very disappointed.

Review 24：This hotel is let down by the absolutely dreadful lifts which are not sufficient for the capacity of the hotel. We regularly waited ten minutes for lifts, watching lifts go past our floor. On one occasion the queue snaked down the hall almost to reception. A previous reviewer mentioned the cleanliness; we would agree, there was an ominous 'crusty' stain in the doorway of a bedroom, there were limited kitchen utensils - frying pan but no fish slice, generally it was tired.

Review 32：One front desk person was defensive when I asked him about the internet being intermittent stating "Nobody else complained." I wasn't actually complaining, I was simply asking. He did get a maintenance person to fix a modem in my room which improved connectivity but I felt his initial reaction unnecessary. Also la few days later two other front desk staff I chatted to were later honest and open about on and off problems with connectivity to the server, which I appreciated.
Review 33：Most staff at the front desk were very helpful and efficient and on advice re local facilities e.g. The location of the post office. Maintenance person very good. The apartment was kept in good condition - pleasant.
Review 34：Internet is very very poor. We spent 7 nights there but can't connect to wifi even 1 days. The spa pool was also unwork while we stayed.

Review 41：Night shite staff in reception, she was really helpful. The hotel facilities were good, especially amenities in the bath room was nice. View was amazing with the river. Review 43：The location was great. Our apartment overlooked the Brisbane River and South Bank. Also, the apartment is walking distance to the CBD area as well as Roma Street Station. So you wouldn't have a problem with multiple amenities. Coles Central is nearby at Queen Street and Woolworths are located a street away at the MacArthur Central.

The price included daily housekeeping however no one turned up after a few phone calls to reception. And we were told that its just a tidy up not a full clean. Review 71：I didn't like the fact that they didn't let us know whether bedding requests could be fulfilled when I first booked. They did let us know a day before but by then it was too late to cancel. However, they did provide extra sheets so that one of us could sleep on the lounge. Other than that I was extremely happy with the apartment and service.

Review 82：Evolution Apartments is an excellent base to explore Brisbane and the cultural offerings of Southbank. It is conveniently located across the pedestrian bridge from GOMA in the legal part of Brusbane City. The accommodation is very comfortable and relatively spacious and affordable and most rooms have views of the Brisbane River and the City. The pool is an extra bonus and the spa has real oomph! On top of all that the staff are very friendly and helpful with any requests.

Review 108：The building and the facilities are not up to the standard of its nearby competitors however. In particular some of the fittings are cheap and only semi-functional, and the furniture is below standard for the room price. The lift is clearly audible from within the apartments.

Credit card details were handed over at time of booking, and no mention of this had been made. As it was unexpected expense, we transferred some of our spending money onto card to cover it. Also wasn't cancelled on day of checkout, so not only left us short on the night but also for the next week.
Review 125：It was a double birthday weekend, so we rented the room for Riverfire. and a night at Casino. View for Riverfire was fantastic, couldn't have asked for better. Room was very clean. We even had a fire evacuation after Riverfire, so got to party on the street and see some firemen. No fire thankfully, and another story to add to our weekend adventures. lol
Review 126：The Apartment was in bad need of a new coat of paint with the blinds being grubby. There was no frypan available or a metal tube for the vaccum cleaner, we did notify staff but no effort was made to supply these.

Review 139：Our apartment wasn't nearly as nice as friends of ours who booked sometime after we did. Not sure what you have to do to get the nice one but after seeing theirs I felt quite ripped off. Spa did not appear to be very clean.
