Reviews for Hotel Villas Kin Ha
Review 1:This hotel is too expensive for the comfort offered. The room are very old: not soundproofed, the furniture are old/dusty and the bed not comfortable. The bathroom was very humid, and there was water everywhere when taking a shower (we had to run water at least 5 minutes for having hot water).
Review 2:The hotel is good located between the town and the archeological ruins (even if you do not have a car, lots of taxi or collectivo are passing by to take you in one or the other direction. The pool was large and the hotel is located in the nature so you can hear a lot of birds. The staff at the restaurant provided good service.
Review 3:At our arrival there were no tawels And toilette paper in the Room. For the prove of the Room we were expetting more comfort!
Review 4:Inside the forest but not so colse to the ruins :(
Review 5:Room was dirty and old and there was no hot water in our rooms despite asking the staff on multiple occasions. Food at the restaurant was average. Staff at the front desk were unhelpful And appeared to make up policies as they go (I.e 1 pool towel between 3 people). also no wifi in room only at reception and even then the connection was poor.
Review 6:Location was ok
Review 7:Limited hot water, outdated design and equipment, the restaurant cut for large groups and a bit unpleasant (although food delicious)
Review 8:Bungalows spread in the jungle, wild animals passing by (aguti, frogs, gekons etc.), tranquility, big swimming pool, helpful reception staff, proximity to Palenque ruins
Review 9:The room was fine room was finee room was fine Had a little bit of bugs but nothing to do about that. The hotel can do much better for what were paying. The most disappointing thing was the water at the beach. We pay a lot to sleep on the beach but can't go in the water because it is full of see weed. It's a fenomenon that should pass in a while.... Review 10:The SF Taff was helpful and let us do an early check in
Review 11:No alternative places to eat unless you went into Town. No atmosphere as hotel very empty.
Review 12:Gardens and pool Air con quiet and efficient. Saw parrots Humming birds. Heard monkeys and crickets.
Review 13:Do not recommend this place. Its old, not clean, old beds with old blankets. Large pool but also doesnt look very clean. Wifi only at reception.
Review 14:Not much.
Review 15:No wifi in the room.
Review 16:Really near Palenque Maya ruins and national park of Palenque. Hotelrooms are in style of Maya huts (nice touch: oval shape). Superbgardens, with some tasteful modern statues in " a la maya"style among the trees and bushes. Very good swimming pools 9the bog onehas its own little cascade). You have to pay 90-100 pesos for breakfastper person ( but quality is really good). By night, cheek out for alittle show by the ants (they use hotel outside pavement to transportlittle leaves). No ants or insects in the rooms - al least we had noproblem at all. A/c worked perfectly. Staff - friendly andefficient.
Review 17:No wifi in the room, only near the pool and restaurant. Service was not great, drinks were suddenly more expensive (untold) when brought to room - not by choice. Breakfast was ok...
Review 18:Parrots flying, a howler monkey somewhere in the distance and fireflies! Cooling down in the pool. Close to the archeological site, 20 pesos per person by collectivo.
Review 19:The food is fine for one night. If you stay longer, find yourself a better place to eat.
Review 20:Good value for the money. Basic rooms with a big bed, airco and a hot shower. It's really close to the tempels of Palenque.

Review 24:excellent location near by the Maya ruins and near by the best restaurants in town. Very rustic arrangement and good looking gardens. Excellent view , good swimming pool, nice food and drinks. Good prices for accommodation, meals ( a la carte restaurant ) and drinks.
Review 25:The bath towels are a mess and the bathroom are a disaster!!!...the odor at night is insoportable but if you turn the light off you have visitors( roaches) as I said the rooms need a full renovation...and please, Buy new bath towels!!!!

Review 58:Receptionists spoke spanish only, cockroaches in the room (but hey - its in the jungle), extremly expensive laundry service, wifi at reception only,.. It looks like an perfect 5* resort of the 90s which is falling appart. You can see and feel the glamour of the times gone - but it's gone.. ;)
