Review 1：No holder for the showerhead. So you had to shower holding the showerhead in one hand.

Review 2：Nice and quite surroundings. As long decent but still walk to the train station. Great room with view on the lawn behind.

Review 5：We liked everything. It all worked well for us. However, if you do not have a car and wish to spend time in the center of Old Mechelen, Hotel Malcot would not be convenient for you. The distance can be walked, but not readily.

Review 6：Hotel Malcot is situated in a beautiful and peaceful garden setting. Our room was wonderful for its quiet and comfort. The room faced onto the expansive lawn that provided morning and evening entertainment with the friendly rabbits that come by to nibble. The owner/host is very helpful and accommodating. The fact that she speaks English was beneficial to your experience. She helped with restaurant tips and provided good-natured assistance whenever we needed to consult her. The breakfast is very nice and served in a lovely room. Following the first breakfast, I mentioned that I was gluten free and the host immediately went out to procure gluten free bread for me for the following mornings. Very nice. This is an elegant home that the owner has completely updated with lovely decor. Hotel Malcot is outside the highly trafficked tourist area of Mechelen. It is a short drive from the center. Parking at the hotel is secure and right out front. We appreciated the quiet environment away from the highly populated tourist center.

Review 11：Slightly smelly toilets. Asked to change room as the first one stank of smoke although they were all meant to be no smoking. We were able to move to another room and he was very apologetic
