Review 1：No free internet. Protective blanket at the end of the bed was full of hair.

Review 7：We had a King waterfront room and it was an excellent location. The small water taxi was right outside if needed. The boats passing outside the window was a great sight. Excellent location for travel on the Spirit of Tasmania.
Review 8：The location is about a hundred yards (give or take) from the Spirit of Tasmania. However to get there one has to walk about a kilometre because there is no direct path. I can't believe that something can't be done about that.

I booked online on Booking.com many weeks in advance for whatwas meant to be a good rate, so I was disappointed to be handed a flyerfor this exact establishment when boarding the Spirit of Tasmania ferrywith a rate $6.00 cheaper per night, and with breakfasts included. Atcheck-in, I asked them to simply match the breakfast offer but no suchgenerosity was offered; I would have to not only pay more for the room,but also pay $11.90 per person for breakfast! Not a great way to treatyour guests or to generate good publicity or return visits. The bed inmy room was below average for comfort, poorly made, and the onlyavailable pillows were very hard & high profile. I did not rewardthis hotel by paying for their breakfast, preferring to walk to a nearbycafe & spend my money there.
Review 15：Close to the ferry terminal; that is the sole reason for staying there.I could have booked better places for less but didn't have a vehicle& did not wish to walk 3.4km to get there. The room was clean &the bathroom good.
Review 16：The shower had some mold. Could be better insulated when doors opened and closed from other rooms the windows vibrated and shook. Noisy from 5.00am when people started leaving.

Linen etc was fine and is obviously newly painted. Small little things as mentioned at the start would have helped as we have paid the same for a far nicer room in centre of Hobart.

Review 22：Although it looks a little tired outside the interior of our King room with waterviews was really nice. Being part of the hotel meant food wasn't far away. Dinner at the pub was fantastic! So close to Spirit of Tasmania dock meant a very short trip after our ferry that came in quite late.

Review 34：The atmosphere is on overall not very pleasant, as the hotel is located next to the harbour, and is combined with a not too classy bar and gambling site. The rooms (at least some of them) are quite cold, even if the heating is on. The hotel is also located on the wrong side of the river, and therefore there are basically no stores and only a few cafes of restaurants nearby. The distance to city centre is more than 5 km, which is too far as there are no regular bus connections available every day.
Review 35：If you are going to the cruise with Spirit of Tasmania, I could recommended this Hotel due to location. The hotel was clean, and there was plenty of hot water. The staff was really nice.
