Review 1：It is very dated. The light in the toilet didn't work and by the looks of the piled fly poo, it hasn't worked for quite some time. When the next door unit used their shower, it sounded as though it was right in your living/bedroom - extremely noisy. We should have paid a little more and got a whole lot better! Would not recommend
Review 2：The room didn't look like it had been cleaned for ages, cobwebs everywhere. There was a muck up with my booking on their behalf, they did give us another room but one of us had to sleep on a fold out couch and they still charged us the same price as our original room so very disappointed.
Review 3：The facilities were good but the beds were a little dated. The lighting was rather dim.
Review 4：It was handy to town and the conference. The tea and coffee were OK and it was good to have fresh milk given. The towels etc. and soaps and shampoos very good. The shower was excellent. We didn't try the swimming pool but it was very clean.
Review 5：I really liked the kitchen facilities, that it was close to the Tranzit bus terminal, not too far from the Renall Street railway station and the town shops. The free washing machines came as a life saver after traveling for some days.

Review 7：The mixup on arrival was not very professional having the room allocated to us on booking to be given to someone else even though the one we had in the end was cheaper.
Review 8：There was a bottle and toilet roll plus some food under the bed from previous stayers, no hot chocolate option, could hear showers from other rooms and people talking loud until close to 1am keeping us awake.
Review 9：The room was perfect for the stay, beds comfortable, shower pressure good and it had the main equipment needed for heating food, cooking food, keeping food/drinks chilled. Was also close walk into the main part of town. Owner was understanding that we forgot about clocks going forward due to daylight savings.

Review 21：let me park my vintage car around the back out of sight from the road. Also gave me a room with a empty room each side away from the road so it wad nice a quiet had a good sleep.
Review 22：The double bed was crippling - old and hard. Thankfully there was a single bed that had a better mattress and one of us slept on that. Thick drapes covered the only window that opened in the main area, so on a stifling hot day, the small desk top fan was woefully inadequate and leaving the front door open was not an option because of foot traffic and privacy.

Review 25：We arrived at The Amble Inn after 4 flights over 40 hours (Edinburgh to Wellington...) and wanted somewhere comfortable and quiet to catch up on sleep. Our room was ideal for that; it was quiet, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We managed to sleep for 11 hours, 2 nights in a row!

Review 68：Nothing at all, it was fantastic. The bigger hotels were booked out, so we ambled acrosss this one. It surprised us as the price was very reasonable so we were expecting an older style motel but we were very plesantly surprised.
Review 69：The location was close to town yet quiet. The units have been modernised and were very clean and tidy. The Managers were friendly and very efficient. The pool was cold but we were from Australia so it was probably warm to New Zealanders (ha ha). Good size though. We would definitly stay there again and recommend it to eveyone.
