Review 3:We liked everything Frances and Brian could not have been more welcoming it was like staying with your family , I recommend any one to stay with them . Not one thing was left out or missing ,breakfast was yummy and even loved the big hug when we left
Review 4:Afternoon tea and home-baked biscuits in the garden soon after arrival. Home-cooked breakfasts were fantastic. Very informative hosts who told us a lot about Hokitika and surrounds. Very relaxing and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Review 5:Nothing. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Review 6:Great hosts who have so much information about local sights and history and such a great love for Hokitika that it was infectious! Lovely B&B with interesting history to the house. Décor fascinating. Room really comfortable and well appointed. Great breakfast. A real feel of being looked after - Frances made us a cup of tea when we arrived, gave us a choice of bedrooms and Brian insisted on making us camomile tea after we had been out for a meal at a great local restaurant that they had recommended.
Review 7:The hosts were some of the best of our entire trip! They let us stay in the adorable, cozy cottage even though we had booked another room (since it was our anniversary). We are STILL thinking about the breakfast - it was to die for! That may have been one of our favorite parts. Our wonderful hosts were so friendly, but gave us enough privacy - it was simply perfect and so relaxing! So much knowledge of the town and history - enchanting little town! We would absolutely stay again!!!!

Review 11:Everything. From the first minute we met Francis and the great intellectual chats with her and Brian, we were impressed! The house was so delicately decorated and everything was done with respect to the past and a touch of modern taste! As a traveller, we were so much looked after and also pampered with tea and coffee and cookies! The room was comfy and the breakfast was unbelievable! It was like a feast and everything was tailored made for us. We absolutely enjoyed our stay to the full we adore the couple's passion in heritage! Good on you!

Review 30:Such a charming accommodation owned by very interesting and friendly people. It was comfortable, homely with the extra touches that made it feel special.
Review 31:This is an exceptional place. It's the former house of Dr. Teichelmann who was also a renown NZ explorer. Brian, the owner, can tell you all about the history of Hokitika and there are amazing photos and relics throughout the house. This is a well cared for house that is very comfortable. The breakfast included local honeys and bacon and homemade jams. There wasn't much to Hokitika, but I loved this B and B.
