Review 1：Felt a little run down, but had no troubles with our stay

Review 3：Sorry to say this but would've been nice if there was a oven to cook up roast especially for the amount of time we stayed their but not a biggie thou still greatful for what was ther. And the slide should've been safer if it was plastic but still ok I guess.

Review 11：The accommodation was very convenient for our needs. It was clean and tidy, the staff friendly. It was peacefully located just off the main road, vehicle parking more than adequate. Very happy with our stay.

Review 12：No spare blanket. Unit was cold and probably due to having chapel ceilings the heater was inadequate for the space and it kept switching off.

Review 15：Excellent friendly service, wonderful greeting upon arrival, helpful with check in, and excellent upon exit. Very clean room, quite spic and span which is lovely as I have stayed in many hotels. Great parking and wifi.

Review 16：Not enough Power points in Bedroom for Electric Blankets and Alarm Clock. Also I had a sleep Machine I needed to plug in at the same time. Had to use my own double adaptar which meant pulling the bed out.

Review 18：It was a little over priced for the age of the motel, the interior could be updated (although this isn't something that would sway our decision to stay or not), the playground was old and trampoline pads need replaced. There is a lot of competition out there, so having a slightly updated interior and a competitive price would really help.

Review 24：It may have been a little outdated but the facilities and the friendly helpful owners more than made up for that. Cold wet weather was no worry with the guest laundry facilities and even free washing powder. The free wi-fi was a godsend and extremely fast. We even extended our stay....thanks Jim and Jenny....we highly recommend you and your establishment.

Review 25：The table was broken, as in we were trying to eat off of a slanted table that plates were sliding off of. We ended up eating on the floor.

Review 31：Decor from the 60's and beds very uncomfortable. Everything was quite old and in need of update. Many insects found in the room, which wasnt nice. Shower was inadequate and toilet very noisy after flushing. No oven in kitchen, only 2 burner hob and microwave. No airconditioning at all.

Review 32：The shower was annoying. Low water pressure and the dial kept turning itself to the off position so one of us had to stand there and hold it in place while the other one showered.

Review 33：We had a very large and roomy unit, one of the biggest I've ever seen which was great as you're not tripping over each over and your things.

Review 34：The toilet is in the same room as the shower and only the shower curtain for privacy. For three adults and two young children waiting to use either is going to be a challenge. If you want to do a no.2 you're going to have to wait if this room is being used. The same if you want a shower. The master bedroom could have a tv and make sure the slide door is secured and locked. The swimming pool is ideal for small children only.

Review 35：The owner that greeted us when we arrived was a very nice man. Room 12 - first impression was a spacious lounge, large fully equipped kitchen, large sized bedrooms, separate bathroom from toilet and shower block, own private sizeable verandah, own carpark space right outside the room, and high ceiling with fan. We were at the end of a block of rooms better than being in the middle. Paid $220 for one night and thought good price. Wifi here is awesome.

Review 36：The motel was extremely clean the hosts really friendly. The grounds were lovely with nice colourful gardens that made you feel really relaxed. I would highly recommend this motel to stay in and will definitely return myself.

Review 37：My girlfriend complained that the knives in the kitchen were blunt and lack of things like chopping boards. The curtains also didn't block out the sun. But those things are OK, maybe juts hints for improvements.

Review 39：The room needed air conditioning. The afternoon sun comes in the kitchen &heats the room, we were hot from being out all day in through sun, after a swim we heated up again in the hot room. The fan provided helped but not enough.

Review 41：The toilet seat needed tightening as it moved a lot when sitting down. Needs towel rails in the bathrooms. The bedspread could do with a wash as it was a little smelly. I suspect people sit on the bed with shoes on so it gets dirty.

I have a very bad back and found the bed to be comfortable and supportive to my physical disability. The price was affordable for pensioners. The playground excellent for visiting children.

Review 54：I liked the hosts and the cleaner they were awesome and went out of there way for us. The motel was spotless, inside and out. The motel is well equipped for children, with a pool and a great playground area. I'm due back down in 6 Months and l will be staying again:)

Review 55：The motel is a bit out of Masterton, which isn't a problem with a motor vehicle. The motel epitomises what is good about a Kiwi motel with a large well appointed room, good full kitchen facilities, and pleasant helpful owners at a great price. If you want modern streamlined corporate this isn't for you but for cleanliness, good facilities, unlimited wifi and helpful staff you will struggle to do better anywhere.

Review 57：We enjoyed the spaciousness of the room and king-sized bed. Well-equipped galley kitchen, clean and modern bathroom. The couple running the motel were very accommodating, making sure that everything was in working order. They provided us fresh milk for our tea/coffee. The location was quiet enough, despite being near a major highway. Good wi-fi.

Review 66：Pretty abrupt manner by the person on duty in the office when I arrived - said she had run spoken to me over the phone and I had said I would would be arriving earlier. I had to correct her and tell her I booked over the internet. Apparently she was looking after the Motel while the owners were away. Need to ensure she has the correct information.

Warm room when I arrived late at night - I had already indicated that I would be late arriving as I had a School concert which didn't finish to 8.30 pm and I had to travel over the Rimutaka Hill from Wellington. Early start the next morning at a course I was attending in Masterton.
