Reviews for Hotel Garden

Review 1:When we arrived at the hotel, the entrance was open but nobody was sitting at the reception. We rang the bell a few times and waited for someone to check us in for a while but no one came out, until we eventually went inside and found the receptionist in the back. We also disliked that the gate to the car park remained open for the whole night (luckily nothing had happened to our car though). The facilities are quite old and the rooms are not well isolated, therefore you could hear all the noise from your neighbours, from early morning till late night. The breakfast was included but did not look so fresh.

Review 2:Very friendly personnel, great breakfast with great service. Rooms are very spacious. Old building so couple of sets of stairs to climb with baggage. That was my third stay and I wasn't disappointed.

Review 3:I heard some strange "pipe-like" noises around midnight for a long time... I have no idea what it was. My friend didn't hear it, but I couldn't sleep because of it for a couple hours...

Review 4:Breakfast was included and VERY good! At night we came back from dinner and asked the receptionist if there was any way we could have a tea and he personally made us 2 teas to take to the room. Very nice! :)

Review 5:Stairs, stairs, stairs....Even in the room, there are steps down into the bathroom. This is a new building (within the last 15 years), but is not designed for anyone with a physical disability. This needs to be advertised.

Review 6:The town is great. The place is relatively new, but looks like an old mansion.

Review 7:Walls were thin, which made things a little bit loud. It wasn't that big of a deal for us, since we were on the other side of the building, but be aware that the hotel also rents event space and there was a rockin' party with loud music while we were there. Worth asking about if you are a light sleeper.

Review 8:Awesome breakfast! Seriously increased the value of our stay. Really fun decor - eclectic and funky antiques. Felt very secure and tucked away. I liked that the gate was closed and locked at midnight.

Review 9:We got a room that had a jet tub, and we couldn't get it to work.

Review 10:Great hotel with a nice garden. Staff was extra helpful. Loved the breakfast with the cooked veggies.

Review 11:The hotel is in an beautiful old house in town. It's in a good location. The rooms are confortable. We had the bad luck of visiting during a heat wave. Very rare there. They gave us fans which made it better. The staff went out of their way to accomodate anything we needed. The restaurant on site us pretty good. Breakfast was good but needed to get there early which we did after the 1st day. They don't restock much. Everyone is very nice. Specially Natalia. This young lady did everything she could each day to help us out. The parking area is safe and big.

Review 12:Nice hotel with plenty of parking and secure at night, plenty of garden area for pets or walking around. Super nice employees and the breakfast was fantastic to include scrambled eggs.

Review 13:We happened to be there on an extremely hot day and there is no air conditioning. But a fan was provided in the room and we actually slept fine despite the heat.

Review 14:What a surprising gem of a hotel in Boleslawiec! Though in the city, it's tucked away in a spot that feels like a little oasis with its garden out front. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, the breakfast is the best I've ever had in Europe (and I've traveled far and wide), the facilities are charming, bed is comfortable, wifi is great, it's close to Polish pottery shopping, and the price is very affordable. Will definitely stay here again when in Boleslawiec, and recommend it to all friends who are heading there.

Review 15:The breakfast staff seemed short handed, one person cleaning up seemed to be restocking the buffet table and cooking your eggs when she had the time to ask if you would like them. Outside of the gentleman at reception whose English was great, the waitresses struggled with the language. I understand I am an Anerican in Poland but it was hard to communicate with the friendly staff.

Review 16:The facility was beautifully decorated and overall very nice. We enjoyed looking at the unique decor that takes you back in history. The wood carving in the banister, the painting throughout the facility and the ceiling in reception were all a delight to take pictures of.

Review 17:There were no plugs for the bath or wash basin.

Review 18:The hotel is very pretty with a beautiful garden and good parking. The breakfast was very good with freshly cooked apricot beignets and a self service spread for every possible taste.

Review 19:The lack of facilities, no bar, no lounge area. The bedroom we were in for two weeks room 14 was a very poor standard. The bed base was at least 12inches smaller than the standard 4ft 6 mattress. The hotel main interest is weddings as it has 3 function rooms, we incurred 2 of these during our stay which go on to at least 4am. If you complain the staff just tell you it's a wedding.

Review 20:Breakfast was plentiful with a lovely pleasent member of staff who worked really hard to please everyone

Review 21:Room does not have air conditioning and fans are not provided. Bring your own to beat the heat.

Review 22:The hotel offered clean, affordable and spacious rooms. The breakfast offered a nice selection and they even offered to make us fresh scrambled eggs. There is a bar and restaurant in the hotel making it easy to buy a bier as you wound down in the evening. The hotel staff went out of their way to be helpful, providing extra pillows as needed. Location was great for Pottery shopping and the parking was secured.

Review 23:There is no communal meeting area to meet up at. The room wasnt cleaned at all during the 6 nights we were there. The towels were changed 3 times but the bed linen wasnt changed at all and no-one vacumed or cleaned the bathroom during this time.

Review 24:The wedding was fantastic!

Review 25:The shower head was not flexible and drooped down.

Review 26:The decor is very interesting and the rooms were spacious with two comfortable reading chairs and a desk.

Review 27:Even though we requested a triple room with an extra bed (for 2 adults and 2 preteens), and the hotel was empty when we arrived, they did not read our booking properly and no extra bed was available. So we had to split up our family into two rooms. They didn't charge extra, but it was inconvenient. The carpet in the room was badly torn and had a massive stain on it. Desperately needs to be replaced.

Review 28:Our room was large, bathroom was spotless, and breakfast was good. Wifi was strong. Staff was polite and parking area was very large.

Review 29:Friendly staff, spacious bathroom, ample parking and a large room. Ten minutes walk from Centrum.

Review 30:Hotel staff, location and price level.

Review 31:Nothing

Review 32:Nice staff, great location, great value, and clean, large, and comfy rooms!

Review 33:Bathroom smelled like smoke. The free breakfast was awesome but the dinner we paid for was awful.

Review 34:Overall, the place was adorable.

Review 35:Very firm, uncomfortable bed.

Review 36:Beautiful facility, awesome breakfast

Review 37:It was a beautiful decorated and unique place to stay. The grounds are beautiful. The breakfast was very good.

Review 38:Location, staff, cleanliness

Review 39:Had not pre-coordinated well for extra bed and baby crib. Handled immediately upon checkin.

Review 40:Beautiful old villa with new security fencing for your car.

Review 41:no wine menu

Review 42:The decorating

Review 43:Wonderful breakfast and staff. I enjoyed walking in the garden after breakfast.

Review 44:Friendly, hlepful staff. Short walk into town. Close to potteries. Great price.

Review 45:Everything

Review 46:Everything. This was a really lovely place to stay, and the hotel staff is wonderful.

Review 47:Very difficult to find anything to complain

Review 48:The hotel was picture-perfect and the staff could not have been more helpful and attentive. Also, had several wonderful meals in the hotel restaurant.

Review 49:Bathroom needs to be updated and it would be nice if the hotel provided shampoo and soap. The heater in the bathroom was always on. Could not find a way to turn it off. Wardrobe was a little flimsy. Building very old and could use some renovation. Would not stay in the summer time as there is no air conditioning.

Review 50:I thought the place was very quant. It had a lot of old world charm to it and the staff was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable for a short stay.

Review 51:Although booked as room with double bed the room only contains two single beds (most likely due to the fact that we were an unmaried couple). Only polish TV program.

Review 52:The hotel is an old, contorted mansion that is surrounded by a nice garden which might be nice in spring and summer. The furnishing fits to the original character of the property. The room had an access to a big terrasse. Huge bathroom with big bathtub. Overall a nice hotel

Review 53:-Noises carry there. There happened to be a lot of people and familieswith children the weekend my friends and I stayed there. I could hearpeople talking until late at night and at times children running downthe hall or babies crying. -The wifi was very weak and could only beaccessed if you were in a certain part of the room.

Review 54:This is a very quaint hotel with older furnishings. Certain parts of thehotel have asiatic references (reception area and garden).

Review 55:The dinner we had at the restaurant was delicious and very reasonably priced. Our room for 3 adults was spacious and comfortable, and also very clean. Would chose to stay in this hotel again on another trip!

Review 56:The carpeting was pretty worn on the staircases.

Review 57:The staff was out standing. They went out of their way to accomdate us. The breakfast was delicious.

Review 58:Our room was more poor as compared with other.

Review 59:The interior of hotel reminds a kind of museum-there are many objects of old times and luxury. The hotel situated in a quiet place, there are many gardens around. Breakfast-buffet with a various meal.

Review 60:The interior areas of the hotel were pretty dark and the hotel could usesome updates, however, the chipped paint and outdated decorations gavethe hotel some it's charm.

Review 61:The triple room was very large and nicely decorated. The hotel washistoric and decorated with many fun antiques. The staff was veryfriendly and helpful. We had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel.Dinner was amazing, you must try the cheese pierogis and fried potatodumplings! Breakfast was typical German breakfast foods. The locationwas decent, near the center and close to multiple pottery shops. Iwould suggest this place to any of my friends and I would stay thereagain myself.

Review 62:Great location for pottery shopping, away from the noise of the city.Lovely old villa with an eclectic mix of furnishings. Excellentrestaurant and breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I'drecommend this hotel without hesitation.

Review 63:Lovely hotel, unusual, vintage design. Each room is decorated in its ownstyle, the interior of the old manor. Quiet, cozy and beautiful. Adelicious breakfast, friendly staff.

Review 64:When I asked for a family room for three, I figured I would have at least one double bed, and two single beds not three single beds.

Review 65:It was a quant family run operation that catered to families. The hotel was perfectly placed within walking distance to most of the sites and restaraunts. There was a good selection of food and drinks at the restaraut, as well as adault beverages.

Review 66:Room was small and bed had crumbs in it.

Review 67:Convenient location and affordable rates.

Review 68:A lovely hotel that was comfortable and convenient.

Review 69:Difficult to rest at the hotel when a party was going on until 4am.

Review 70:Interesting house on an unusual setting
