Review 1：Poor cleanliness and out of date rooms. Bed blankets full of hair. Pool area, pool and hot tub were cold. The waterslide was the reason we booked the BCMI in Hinton and it was a huge disappointment. Will stay at the Holiday Inn with a waterslide on our next trip.

Review 3：I really liked the breakfast. Such a variety! At check-in we were offered the cookies and popcorn. My kids were happy. The pool temperature was cold but my kids didn't mind. The room was a good size with the small fridge, coffee machine and a microwave. The mattress was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there.

Review 4：Called hotel Hinton to ask if they are pet-friendly. They said yes. Booked a room. When arrived they said they cannot put us in a room with a pet. Moved us to a motel-style building besides. Would not book with them if knew what would happen. Disappointing.

Review 7：location was excellent. they allowed my daughter that i was visiting to enjoy the pool and hot tub, which we did everyday. We stayed at the Hinton location before when we came out to visit her and we will again next summer. thank you for a wonderful friendly accommodation

Review 8：The soundproofing isn't great and the guy in the next room shouting expletives at his alarm at 5.30am wasn't ideal. This is a motel for truck drivers, road workers etc - not really tourists. The workers start early. Not a problem for me - but it might be for others.

Review 9：The room could have been cleaner. The bed sloped toward the centre of the bed... I rolled toward the inside. The pool is very shallow. Adults coming down the waterslide hit the bottom of the pool and it closes at 10 PM (too early).

Review 10：Very good for a large group (we had a busload). The hotel is very up-to-date. The hot breakfast is awesome. The coffee bar in the evening is great. Most of the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly.

Review 11：We could not check in till after 4pm and had a wedding in Jasper at 4pm. Could not change in Room. Had to change in change room which was better than nothing.

The little extras were really a nice touch - popcorn, cookies, decaf coffee in your room, etc. The complimentary cooked breakfast exceeded expectations. Having a fridge, microwave & Keurig coffee maker in every room was very handy. We were traveling with a group, and the hotel accommodated our request to have all four rooms together. Pool, water-slide and hot tub were enjoyed by all.

Review 19：There was no printer connected to the PC so I could not able to print my airline boarding card. In these days most of hotel has printing capability for the custpmer.

Review 28：Pool was really warm on day 1 and freezing on day 2 of our stay. We were kept awake until 3 a.m. due to a hallway full of noisy rooms, all related to each other. The night clerk did her best to quiet them down, and was kind to me and my family.

Review 31：Hard to fault. It's exceptionally good value for money. The maturity and experience of the receptionists translated into excellent service. Even before we asked she gave us the log in to their fast free WiFi. She recognised we would be wanting dinner and suggested two places where their guests received 10% discounts - we chose to go to Milo's where the food was great. Efficient checkin and checkout. Nice BIG room with two big beds that can quite easily accommodate 4 adults. Esso gas station next door was an added bonus. Easy access to highway. I would recommend this place without hesitation.

Review 32：The a/c in our room broke so we had to switch rooms in the middle of the night. Not very pleasant. The staff was helpful although more organization is needed to keep the place in order. She was going to charge us more for our 3 nights stay not updating our reservation.

Review 45：The facility advertises itself is pet friendly and when you show up you discover that only the motel section is pet friendly. Pets are not allowed in hotel section. We had no desire to stay in a motel section however that was all that was offered to us. I felt baited and switched. If I had not thought that that late in the day (after 6:00PM) most of the rooms in the town were likely full, we would have stayed elsewhere.

Review 49：What can we say. there was nothing we didn't like about this hotel. Hotel managers were the nicest, friendliest most helpful people you could wish to meet. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms spacious, extremely clean with nice comfortable beds. You only have to look at all the facilities on offer to see what good value this Hotel is and you get breakfast aswell. Breakfast was excellent and Babs and Paul worked their socks off to make sure there was plenty of everything and their guests wanted for nothing. Highly recommend this hotel and have no hesitation staying there again.

Review 56：Smoking by neighbouring guests despite it being a non smoking hotel. Not effectively dealt with by management when reported. Smoke was coming into our room via the bathroom vent. Too many things had broken down - washing machine, cash machine, lift, hot tub, coffee machine. Fridge in room could not be adjusted consequently all our food ended up frozen. Air conditioner in room could not be adjusted to low level so too noisy to run at night. Breakfast was ordinary.

We have stayed here before as the price is reasonable and it is close to the highway to Jasper. A pool, slide, and hottub kept the boys entertained for the evenings.

Review 71：Staff the night we arrived seemed put out by our arrival and also when we asked for pool towels. We had parties on our floor, but this was not the hotels fault.

Best of all on the drive to Jasper we saw a grizzly bear and elk which we wouldn't have seen if we had stayed in Jasper.

Also the slide was perfect for our 5 and 7 year old kids as they could stand in the deepest part of the pool. We could comfortably watch them from them the hot tub.

Review 98：We stayed at this hotel with some other families for a local tournament. The staff allowed us to use their breakfast dining area to have a team meal as well as to sit around and socialize with other parents in the evening. Our team spent the whole time either in the pool or playing pool.

Review 113：I actually received a noise complaint that my TV was too loud. I was extremely surprised as this have never happened to us before and we travel quite often. The real surprise was that my 2 kids and family were sleeping and only woke up when I received the phone call from the front desk about the complaint. The air conditioner and phone ring tone were both louder than the tv. Due to this we did not feel comfortable and abstain from turning the tv on the next night.

Review 115：Tried to prepay for reservation which, according to them required they fax me a sheet for permission to charge card as I did not intend to be present at check in. The 5 day reservation was a gift to my daughter but she ended up having to pay for it & I reimbursed her as the staff I asked to fax tried 2x and when it didn't go through didn't even bother to call me back. I called them back later on, he tried 1x more still didn't work & still didn't call me. I gave up. Then, when she checked out they asked if she wanted it charged to the card it was reserved with even though I was not present! She had grief with customer service herself in other ways, although she was very pleased with the facility itself. We won't bother this place again, there are too many great hotels we deal with regularly with excellent service to give our business to.

Review 120：The walls are very thin. Our second night we could hear everything the people next door said, plus even hear them using the microwave. First and third nights were much better. Wi-fi was ok in the morning and early evening. Tried to watch a movie and had to give up later on in the evening. Breakfast was ok, but not great.

Review 121：Fairly clean, there was a big stain on the carpet. It was cheaper than the hotels in Jasper. We commuted 2 days and found the 84 kms. ok to drive.

Review 122：The pillows were not to my liking. I usually bring my own, but that means carrying a larger suitcase and as I had a cold and was not feeling tip top, I did not want to lug around a large suitcase.

Review 129：Breakfast was prepackaged, dried up food. We actually went somewhere else for breakfast. The beds were not comfortable, poor sleep, decor was from the 70s.
