Review 1：They really could do with some new mattresses or beds as they have that sinking feeling, not really bad just enough for you to be unable to lie in certain positions. I've stayed here twice, different rooms, and both were the same. Not a booking breaker but something that they will hopefully resolve.

Review 2：The hotel was in a perfect location for us as we were visiting a nearby business to collect something we'd bought. The hotel is very relaxed and staff helpful and polite. The bar is lovely with some nice touches but the rest of the hotel though is looking a bit dated. The food I had during my first stay a year ago was very nice, better than expected as I though it would be more like normal pub food but when it arrived was beautifully presented, more like a very nice restaurant and was piping hot and very tasty.

Review 7：The TV didn't work. Also the place doesn't have a lift which meant we had to haul our luggage up the stairs.

Review 8：The people who run the hotel are very friendly and very helpful. They even set up a crib to our room when we wrote we'd be there with our 6-month old. The place is clean and tidy.
