Review 1：The name of the hotel is "Via Pontica Resort Pomorie", not "balneo resort pontica" !!! It was very confusing finding the hotel especially when you did not know the real name of the hotel.

Review 2：The room was very large and comportable.

Review 3：Entertainment equipment was in awful condition, Billiard ant table tennis can not be used. Some days Water was cool in the inner swimming pool. Beach area was full with cigarette butts and other garbage.

Review 5：a trek to room up one lift, across a landing to another lift , was further from pomorie town than i expected a good 35min fast walk there is a bus but it does take a none pretty route!

Review 7：Honestly, it is difficult to find good things to say about this hotel. Yes, the price is not very expensive, but that is true for most hotels in Bulgaria. Our room was truly dirty upon arrival, a thick layer of dust on the bed frame and tables, the bed cover had disgusting stains on it. Our toilet was missing the flush button, there was hair visible in the shower drain, and many light bulbs were missing. There was terrible lighting in all of the room including the bathroom. In addition, breakfast is truly a joke. You have to pay a deposit in order to use anything that would normally be included in any 3 our 4 star hotel. For example, we had to pay just to use the safe in the room! This is a standard amenity in any hotel we have been to. You have to put a 20lev deposit at the reception for each beach towel, which isn't a problem, but it is so annoying to take 2 elevators from our room and walk 5 minutes each day to the reception just to get fresh towels. Every other beach hotel I have ever visited has a towel service near the beach or pool area. Honestly, I don't even understand how they are able to keep their "5star" rating, even by Bulgarian standards, given how poor the level of maintenance and service is at this hotel. We definitely will not be back.

Review 10：We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. Staff is extremely friendly and polite (someting not so usual for staff mentallity in Bulgaria). Rooms are large enough. Food was exellent as well. I can recommend hotel as the place for relax of the families with small children looking for privacy and quietness.

Review 13：Lovely hotel, perfect location close to beach, very well designed rooms, clean, rich breakfast and amazing reception and bell boy staff. Thank you for the lovely room, and for the lovely stay. Everything is really professional.

Review 14：Hotel is far from the city center (taxi needed - though not expensive). Gym is small and not in good condition, though you can get your basic exercises done. The food is reasonable. Better than a workplace cafeteria, but not restaurant level.

Review 15：The hotel its surroundings are beautiful and really calm. There's a small garden which is part of the hotel and the beach is close. Great for anyone expect teenagers looking for action. The hotel staff was extremely helpful! We had mobility issues and they were very patient with us until we found the room for us and when we wanted to change a few hours after check-in, it was no problem at all. They also helped with the taxi and tourist information.

Review 21：The hotel was beautiful, clean and very comfortable.The spa centre was excellent value for money and the choice of treatments were extensive. We also made good use of the indoor pool and sauna. The choice at the buffet breakfast was supberb.

Review 23：Surroundings, Food, nice breakfast and good dinner, although choice is not much, Wine, Pool and sauna facilities, friendly staff, big and spacious room and excellently furnished, overall a very pleaseant stay, wish I could stay longer. I will look to plan a trip there with family.

Review 24：The quality of food was not good. Service was poor - both at the restaurant and the hotel. The AC at the restaurant was turned off in the evenings.The view was a partial seaside view. The beach was across the street and not as advertised. Overall, the service of the hotel does not correspond to a 5-star rating. I did not get a refund for the last night that I did not spend at the hotel.

Review 30：It seems to be a recurrent trend in BG but booking.com clients get the worst rooms. It's not worth it for the 15-20 euros one saves. We got a ground floor room overlooking a back yard with people constantly passing by. So the curtains had to stay closed at all times. When we asked for another room, we were told that the hotel was full, which according to booking.com, wasn't true.

Review 31：Service is what makes the difference between a 4 and 5 star hotel. On the two occasions that we needed them the front desk staff were unwilling to help with simple requests, both saying they were only there to hand out the room keys. Staff avoided eye contact and didn't exchange pleasantries. More specifically I was offended to be charged an additional 6 Lev per day to use the room safe - the same type of combination safe that you can use for free, even in 3 star hotels. There were plenty more extras you could pay for if you wanted, facilities that are normally included in the 5 star rate. Food was comparitively poor (breakfast). A couple of other incidents left me feeling gouged.

Review 51：We reserved a Sea View and were given an " court yard" view. When we specifically asked for a sea view we were told that its not possible until the following day (we were only staying for 2 nights). Indeed they moved us into a very nice room with good terrace the following day. However at dinner time the staff was rude when wanting to dine after the buffet was finished (21 o'clock) and the "a la carte" menu had 3 options, not more, there was hardly anything to chose from. The restaurant staff was overwhelmed during breakfast and people were queuing for hot water or coffee since the Only machine would run out of water quickly. Food was average and the staff useless. The final touch was to charge us for 2 days parking and 2 beers from minibar, which we didn't take, nor have we parked on the secured area. When we told the receptionist that there was an error, he was unable to find a solution. Only after we announced that we will make a bad review they gave us back the parking and minibar money, charged unfairly. The hotel manager and restaurant manager do try to do their best, but they seem to be the only ones.....

Review 55：Due to it being very early / pre-season ... 1. Staff were not fully trained. 2. Hotel was not fully operational, i.e. the only bar in use was not sufficiently stocked (no beer), 3. Entertainment not yet started 4. Not yet open - pool bar, beach bar, spa, pools, other on site restaurants. 5. Limited menu due to buffets not being available (due to so few guests in the hotel). Please note the above is not likely to be a reflection on the hotel when it is fully operational. NB: We feel we should have been made aware by booking.com that the hotel was not fully operational due to the early / pre-season.

Review 59：It is far from a 5-star hotel. The furniture and bathrooms are quite cheap, the carpet is worn out and thin. The beds were large butnot comfortable.
