Review 1：Breakfast was not at the hotel but a walk of about 5 minutes up the road to another restaurant. We found this very strange. Although the breakfast was very good. Lots of choice

Review 8：Arrived 30th Dec probs with sat nay n direction .All forgotten when the owner told us we were in Different hotel as not busy enough for both to be open! He told us they were having a New Year meal n party n fireworks! We didn't hesitate n booked right away!! So glad was brilliant fantastic meal with free wine all the way through!! Great music n dancing n silly games! Wee pressie for each couple! Then a free bus to Monte Gordo for the New Year fireworks! Truly wonderful nite fantastic company too met terrific people!!

Review 28：The location was excellent. The room was spacious as was the bathroom. It was all spotlessly clean, had a comfortable bed and airconditioning. The receptionists were very helpful, with their limited English but we all understood each other. Breakfast was included at a restaurant 1 minute walk away and was buffet and generous quantity.
Review 29：The hotel does not have a breakfast room. Breakfast is taken at a nearby 'sister' restaurant and is very very poor in quality for 5 euros. You'd do better spending 5 euros on breakfast in any of the many other cafes. Very poor organisation of the breakfast e.g. cheese and ham were available but 'hidden' around a corner. The restaurant staff did not explain anything to us. On the second morning the coffee machine was empty and the waitress brought me one cup! There was no juice but cheap supermarket pop like drink and water. Also there is a restaurant called Coracao de Cidade . . . Do NOT eat there. We ordered turkey steaks in mushroom sauce at a cost of 12.50 (expensive by Portuguese standards) and the mushrooms were out of a tin. Disgusting!
Review 30：The receptionist was a very friendly woman however didn't speak English. Fortunately my Portuguese is passable. The location was great. Close to the main town but in a quiet street. Our room on the 3rd floor had a huge wrap around balcony. I suggest requesting one of these rooms. I liked that you could easily go on the ferry over to Spain for the day at a cost of around 3 euros. Vila Real is a nice relaxed place with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars.

Review 33：The information about the facilities was not correct: No possibility forbeing on the terrace on the roof, which was promised for havingpanoramic views and sunbathing, and in only 2 rooms was a kind ofbalcony. We only had a small window in our room.
