Reviews for Dnepropetrovsk Hotel
Review 1:I took the basic single room, which was a depressing cave, bed was uncomfortable, electricity sockets hanging off wall and wrong size for modern plugs. Breakfast is not 2 euro like stated - it's more. Restaurant not good. Overall depressing place not worth the money.
Review 2:Internet was ok, staff pleasant.
Review 3:Some lights and televisions did not work but aside from this it was very pleasant
Review 4:The staff where very friendly to servicemen like me and did everything to make my stay more comfortable
Review 5:very bad wi-fi connection. I had a room on the 8th floor, it was rather chilly. The furniture was very old, though seemed clean. I find it a bit too expensive for what it is.
Review 6:great location, the view is marvellous!! I appreciated a confortable bed and a hot bath
Review 7:The room looked like a Soviet sanatorium from the 1980s and had not been refurnished since then. Smelled like it had been a smokers' room years ago.
Review 8:The price - can't beat that. The restaurant - newly done up, with friendly and eager staff serving well-cooked meals.
Review 9:Hotel is so oldest. They should be new generation system. Furniture and all items is oldest.
Review 10:Hotel close to city center and can see a river. Employe is good.
Review 11:Very dirty, stuff rude, general condition very old, bad maintenance,
Review 12:Location. It looks exactly as it was during soviet times, so it is like a museum.
Review 13:no safe parking. cockroaches in 2nd room after moving from 1st that had borken down a/c. And we had to fight and demand for working a/c room but the 2nd room was invested with ants and roaches. why poor service you ask? because tourists should not have to fight for another room when its very hot in the room because the air conditioner become broke. they told us to wait until the next day. but we called the USA customer service for better resolution. because i could not sleep!!! this is not a travelers tourist hotels. this hotel like most others caters to locals and local prostitutes in ukraine. In ukraine they don't have a concept of what tourism is and what a tourist is or how they should be treated! so when we asked for some remuneration for such severe inconvience they ignored our request. Most Hoteliers in ukraine do not believe in hiring trained hotel staff with a background in hospitality and tourism education background--which is quite common in europe---(Western Europe)
Review 14:renovated modern european decor. moderately friendly environment. New furnitures. They speak somewhat international english--but seriously hesitant. the breakfast was good.

Review 29:Old style Soviet hotel but room was newly renovated
Review 30:Location
Review 31:All rooms have a balcony but the balcony-door was locked, so you have to enjoy the beautiful Dnepr river through the window. Also the rooms are not isolated which means that traffic sound could disturbe your sleep.
Review 32:This is a hotel from the old communist Days and it looks it both outside and inside, but it is very, very good value for money - and for a lover of old-style communist hotel-architecture, it is a must. Staff is friendly also aganist an English-speaker and rooms are comfortable, but the equipment is old-style. If I visit Dnepropetrovsk again, I would stay here then, too!
Review 33:Hotel did not had computers for customers, Wi Fi is limited to the Wi Fi zone only , once you leave zone no more access to your I Pad or Lap Top , last day I stayed was no hot water , noise from traffic was not much insulated in room

Review 36:Very nice staff. Very good meals in the hotel and a good location not far from the beach.
Review 37:No air conditioning in our room, so we kept the window and patio door open. It was still hot and now mosquitoes were getting in! So be sure to ask for a room w/ air conditioning!
Review 38:Price was right; shower looked very primitive but water pressure turned out to be great. Staff was very nice. Location was good, across from the Dnipro River and nice walkway, restaurants. Ask for a room with air conditioning! Seemed like there was lots of activity available on the river - jet skiing, boating, fishing.
