Review 3：Located directly beside the railway track so we were woken up at early hours by trains passing - noisy and room shaking. This is a shame because the hotel was lovely in many other ways

Review 9：Like the motel very much. Lacks a bit of ambience though and there is a bit of road noise, but not too bad. Ash trays on the table outside, not cleaned (yuk). The owners are super nice people.
Review 10：We understand the conservation of energy by turning off heaters when out of the room The bed was warm The heater worked well but the one drawback was the seepage of cold air in and how hard it was to heat the room up The smell of the coal being burned in homes came in and we breathed it at night Otherwise it was a great place

Review 18：Promoted as units with a spa so booked a studio and spa for 15 April. Unit 9 had a spa but was not able to get any hot water from the tap. Looking at the tap I cannot believe the proprietor and cleaning staff did not know it did not work. Advised on checking out and proprietor said we should have advised this on the previous night - we were late wanting to use the spa so did not disturb him.

Review 32：The apartment was very spacious and tastefully decorated. The proprietor was extremely friendly, helpful and courteous. We were three, a couple and a family member, all mature. One New Zealander and two Irish. This would have rated as our best motel experience in our two week trip.

Review 41：We where travelling in NZ need a place to rest for the night we call the motel to inform them we where running late due to road closure as big bolder had come down and the rd need to be clean up before traffic can travel, the owner waited until we arrived it was a nice welcome :) the bed was confurtable and place was nice and clean for sure we stay there again we didn't wanted to leave nice place .
