Review 1：Upstairs bathroom light wasn't working and we asked for it to be fixed. It never was and we were not told why. my mother's room didn't have heat and they didn't fix until second day. Noise level high. Poor insulation?

Review 2：Liked the loft and the beds were comfortable.

Review 3：Not what we expected, car park and door areas full of mud from customers cars and no attempt from the hotel staff to address this issue. Breakfast was a joke, nothing was immediately available and even when it was......it was not of a decent standard.

Review 7：Parking lots are not assigned to room numbers, so it happens that you have to park the car further away from your room which makes loading and unloading a bit uncomfortable.

Review 8：There is a very good restaurant right next to the motel, and you get a discount there if staying at the Lakewiev Inn. Wallmart and other shopping and other stores and restaurants are a short drive away.

Review 9：The faucet in the bathroom was tricky to use. We sprayed water all over the counter and onto the floor the first few times we turned on the tap. We did get used to it but it made a big mess that we cleaned up.

Review 14：This hotel had more than what we expected. It had 2 floors where the 2nd floor was a loft room. Both upstairs and downstairs had its own TV, queen size bed, and bathroom. The kitchen area had fridge, microwave, kettle, and a electric burner if you wish to cook yourself. The hotel also has a coin operated laundry facility.

Review 19：Our room was disappointing. The coffee maker had not been cleaned and there was only 1 bath towel when we arrived. The lack of elevators made going up and down 3 flights of stairs taxing anytime we went anywhere. I don't think that we would stay again.

Review 20：Would like to see on site vending machines or offer things to buy directly. All though there is a store very close to meet those needs.. Which has great pizza !

Review 21：The rooms were large with large fridge and microwave. Staff were amazing and the fact that you can walk from your car directly into your suite is a bonus.

Review 24：Maintenance was lacking. Lights burned out. I asked to get them fixed and was given bulbs to replace myself. Air con was out in 32c heat and was given 1 fan to share with 4 people in a 2 floor suite. Attendant appologized and told us head office won't replace them as many are out. Heard another guest complaining and was offered a discount on stay. Also several big diesels who left in the mornings dispite signs asking to park away from the rooms. Non smoking rooms but people smoking out on walkway caused smokey smell in the room.

Review 25：Suite was loft style and had 2 bathrooms. Kitchen and space to spread out was nice. Nice little creek with path to walk on behind the motel

Review 26：Our first room, had not been cleaned. We were moved to another room that smelled of cigaret smoke and the main light did not stop flickering.

Review 38：The kitchen had a hotplate that worked very well. There were two frying pans, which were also very effective. However there was only one bowl to put food in. We ended up getting some small plastic bowls of our own. I made a suggestion that a chair for reading would have been nice in the loft.

Review 39：We enjoyed the room. It had a loft. One of us was able to move upstairs and read while the other person watched TV. It was quiet and we were able to get a much needed rest. The beds were excellent. The set up of the room made it easy to spread out. It had a feel of a home instead of a motel room. There is a shower upstairs and down which made it really convenient for each person to get ready without having to wait for the bathroom to clear.

Review 40：When we arrived, we had driven from Grande Prairie and we were early. We were going to come back later to check-in, but the manager made a change to our reservation and we were able to check-in.Great service from a wonderful manager

Review 41：When we got to the Inn after 7 p.m. they gave us the card key to the room that we had reserved and we opened the door and the room was trashed out - obviously had not been cleaned was dirty - trash everywhere. They had one room left that was a smoking room that was considered to be a King Suite. They put us in that-it reeked. There was air conditioner upstairs in loft where bed was -it didn't work. There was air conditioner downstairs that worked but kept flipping the breakers off which also turned off lights in bathroom which was pitch black. We would have to call the desk and she informed us that the breakers for our room were in another customers room so she had to call that customer to get them to flip the breaker. The TV never worked. They said the cable was down. They did offer to let us leave but there literally were no other hotel rooms available in Hinton that night. Supposedly the power went out for the town later that night so there was no air. Although that was not their fault - all the stuff previous to that was bad enough.There should have been a full refund for what we experienced!

Review 44：Air conditioning didn't work. Totally inadequate for summer Temps. Staff said the AC units were supposed to be replaced but head office didn't send them. I guess they don't care, so long as they get their money.

Review 47：Hotel needed spring cleaning!! Rooms were musty, paint was extremely faded outside ... really looked scary from the outside. Rooms were decent, space was nice inside the two bedroom loft. With some routine maintenance, this could be a nice place to stay. Breakfast very limited, with mostly bagels, toast, cereal, fruit.

Review 48：Air conditioner located in place where it doesn't cool room. Room was quite warm, thankfully windows could be opened and it was cool outside...would not work in summer weather.

Review 52：The room was spacious and close to my vehicle parking which was handy. I had a good sleep in a comfortable bed with a quilted topper on top of the mattress for extra comfort. The breakfast included hot items such as scrambled eggs and make-your-own waffles with strawberry sauce for a topping.

Review 54：It was very affordable, and the room was spacious. They had free DVD's with great selection, and the breakfast was plenty and tasty.

Review 55：The close, busy highway was very noisy and made sleeping difficult for some members of our family. Whilst the suites were meant to be non smoking, there was a distinct cigarette smell which entered the rooms. We particularly booked these suites because we wanted to cook our own meals. The hotplate in one of the suites was very dirty. Saucepans lacked lids. Fortunately, between the 2 suites we were able to manage, but it was not what we expected, nor what we have experienced in any of our other accommodations in our journey. Three dining chairs in each suite seemed a little strange when the accommodation was definitely for 4 people in each. Is there really a lake nearby? If not, the name is false advertising. If there is, we didn't see it!

Review 56：The included breakfast was great and the staff in the restaurant were approachable and helpful. There was plenty of space for all of us. We were traveling as an extended family of eight including two young grandchildren. We occupied 2 adjoining suites so were able to share some of the cooking utensils.

Review 57：The upstairs toilet needed to be repaired as the toilet keep running and the fridge didn't stay shut so we had to prop something up against it. We weren't too concerned as we only had beverages in there. Would be nice if there was a hot tub or pool but not complaining we had a great time there.

Review 58：The beds were very comfortable and the separate loft area afforded privacy for both couples. Value was excellent considering prices in Jasper and they also included a breakfast. Lobby area had coffee, water, snack bars and fruit to go.

Review 59：The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and appointed with nice and comfortable furniture. We also had our daughter and granddaughter with us and we all thought it was great. The price included a breakfast which turned out to be a great surprise with eggs and sausages, cereals, different breads and bagels, juices, coffees, etc...it was lovely! Thanks for a great stay!

Review 70：it is actually a motel so not as secure as I would like and nosy on the weekend as people sit outside to party. We were on the ground floor and the window wouldn't close or lock properly. If I had known it was a motel we would not have booked the place.

Review 75：A pool is always nice, but we ended up going to the Miette Hot Springs, not far away from Hinton. There really wasn't anything we didn't like about this hotel.

Review 76：Very clean, very friendly staff. We reluctantly stayed in Hinton as Jasper was booked solid, and were really happy with what we found... a comfortable, friendly place. Staff phoned us after we checked into our room to make sure everything was OK. Our room had two floors, kitchenette, comfy beds, Beds on each floor, 2 bathrooms, Free Breakfast (waffles, eggs, toast, etc.). Reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again!

Review 77：2 inch gap in bathroom door that wouldn't close. Smoke smell in no smoking room. No blow dryer only the holder for one. Adjoining room door wouldn't lock. Manager said its ok. It's just used for storage next door. Main door wouldn't open. Air conditioner wouldn't cool down room. Small table was dirty. Not at all like the Lakeview inn we stay in at Grand Forks.

Upon checking out in the morning, the clerk asked about our stay. I mentioned the lack of air conditioning and she never expressed empathy. This was poor customer service.
