Review 1：The cleanliness is almost perfect but not there yet. I kept sneezing for when the first I entered the room and it was okay after awhile. And the TV channels and signals could have been improved. And the price is just a little tad bit too pricey for such small and packed room, 20-30 bucks cheaper would be fine. Overall, the hotel is great.
Review 2：I really liked the room setting and how the place is small and packed yet everything is there for our convenience. The toilet is clean too and likewise, small but convenient.
Review 3：the overall place was clean. even the toilets were clean. But a huge cockroach appeared at the top bunk of my bed in the mixed dormitory when I was about to sleep, which made me doubt the cleanliness...

Review 7：Just two: 1. not enough trashcan around for me to throw away my trash. 2. The bathroom cant fit ppl with long legs or plus size. The toilet bowl and the sink are just too close for comfort for the shared bathroom.
Review 8：stayed in the mixed dormitory. It is clean, has a bit of a higher standard than a regular backpackers lodge. I truly appreciate that the staff allowed to keep my bicycle (i brought my own bike) into the premise, although they also have bicycle for rents. Car parking is manageable because Campbell street is always busy in the day, so my suggestion is to plan out your journey for the day till nightfall, so you can find parking after 9pm.
Review 9：our room is at the 3rd floor, but there is no lift service. the staircase is really steep, have to walk carefully.
Review 10：the staffs are really friendly and helpful. the room is cozy, i felt like being at home. the location is strategic, situated near to many coffee shop and restaurants. besides, wifi signal is good, would definitely stay there again.

Review 16：The location is in the city centre, close to eating stalls, convenient store & KOMTAR. I was the only person in the dormitory during my stay so it was really private. The hot shower provided is very nice for quick refresh. For RM35 per night in the dorm bed, really a value for money.
Review 17：The parking lot. There were limited parking lot (only 3 infront of the hotel) and u need parking coupons which u can get from 24hr store in front of the hotel. If the parking is full then u need to park a bit far from the hotel and walk.

Review 34：The housekeeping wasn't done properly. When we checked into the room, the floor was full of hair. The next day housekeeping was only to replace the towels no making of bed or sweep the floor. Disappointed.

Review 60：I understand that i should not expect much for a RM30+ dormitory room but tbh this is by far the worst guesthouse I've ever been to after travelling for years. The room is equipped with air conditioner but it does not seem to be functioning well. The room is not cold at all. Despite the small fan equipped in each bed cubicle, once my friend and I get into the our cubicles we were already sweating. Cleanliness is okay. There were 8 beds in a dormitory room and only 2 were clean and tidy. We thought the rest of the beds are occupied but they were not. The beds were left untidied and uncleaned like that although nobody was sleeping. During our one night stay, there was a guy in one of the cubicles at the corner of the room. My friend and I (both girls) were totally creeped out because that guy stayed in the cubicle all day without coming out and without any air con. We also heard strange voice coming out of the cubicle once in a while. To the guesthouse owner, I understand that we booked a cheap and budget dormitory room but please, at least clean all the bed cubicles after the guests have checked out. We were both grossed out by all the untidied beds and doubted that our beds were cleaned as well.
Review 61：The staff is friendly and the guesthouse location is strategic. The female staff helped us to book a taxi to the airport and the taxi driver was friendly and helpful too. Foods and places of attraction are only a few steps away. But other than that the rest are somewhat major disappointment.
Review 62：Cant sleep well due to air-cond already set timer auto off after switched on 1 hour. I have to wake up few time to switch it on + a group of guys chit chat arround 2:30am at the pantry.And thats too noisy when some people pass by my room with their 'dinosaur's legs' early morning X_o

The location is great because I could walk or rent a bike from the reception to go anywhere in the area. Komtar also not a far walk if you want to catch the bus, and about a 15-20 minute walk from the ferry to Butterworth.

There wasn't any sound proofing so it requires everyone to be considerate and not talk too loudly especially during the night. We could smell smoke though we wasn't sure if anyone was smoking because the hotel did indicate 'no smoking'.
Review 90：It is hard to find a reasonable priced hotel stay for 4 adults with 2 double beds and private toilet. Glad we found this place. This boutique hotel is located at the stretch of old houses and alleys true to Georgetown Penang culture. It is only a 2 mins walk to Toh Soon Cafe, for the best coffee and toast. Also Ban Heng if you want to get Penang delights back as gifts.
